Crazyreyn's Gamercard
Common for the battery packs on the wireless controller to get loose?

It's happened on mine, where you have to hold the back toward the controller in order to stay connected (which is very annoying). Any solutions? Would buying a new pack fix it, or is it more with the controller than the pack connectors?

Yeah this happened to me. To the extent where whenever I picked up my controller, the whole battery pack fell apart.

I eventually had it stuck on with sellotape.

Best bet now, is to go and buy a play and charge kit. I use one and it's probably the most useful thing I've bought for my 360 apart from the Wireless receiver!

Only cost me about 10 preowned from my local GAME. Plus it was black which went nicely with my Elite.

This problem happened to my first controller and So I did the same as static. I just picked up a play and charge kit and bam! everything works perfect.

My battery pack is loose but I got a Play and Charge kit long before the point of the entire pack falling off.

Interesting I've had 4 controllers since launch and never had this happen.

Well you see for me it was more of I drop my controller sometimes and I use to put it up on top of my dresser so it would fall a good 6 or so feet.

i have had the same problem myself and on my currnet controler, on the bottom where the battery pack sits, the corners of the controler, the part that holds the pack in place at the bottom is cracking and i am starting to get worried about that now
