Question The Skull of Corruption quest!! Kill or don't kill?!?

Hey!! I had a look of the forums but I don't actually think anyone has asked about this.. anyway!!

I'm doing the quest 'walking nightmare' and I have gotten to the end of it where Erandur is destroying the skull of corruption, now.. I have the choice to kill this dude and take the weapon.. or let him destroy and never be able to get it again.. and I have no idea what to do >_<

HELP PLEASE!!

Kill him.

Loot him.

Take nice daedric artifact.

Throw it in a chest somewhere and never think of either of them again.

You need to collect all Daedric artifacts which ...

so you can get the Oblivion walker trophy

Even if said god is an idiot?

You kill him, because you want his clothes, and the Skull.

If you don't kill him then you get on Namira's bad side (nothing'll happen though ) and you get to recruit him as a follower!

Technically, you don't need the skull of corruption, if you have both the Ring of Hircine and the Savior's Hide.

Or you can save the Waking Nightmare quest for last, save before making the choice, and then reload the save after earning the achievement.

If you want to finish the achievement, then you'll have to kill him. If you don't care about the achievement, then leave him alive. He's a good dude, though a little annoying if he's a follower as he repeats himself WAY too much in towns. Since getting the achievement I let him live when I restart/make a new character, same with pretty much everyone else that dies for daedric quests, if I can help it at all.
