Achievement Guide & Roadmap

Overview:
  • Estimated achievement difficulty: 3/10
  • Offline achievements: 10 (50)
  • Online achievements:
  • Approximate amount of time to 50: 2-3 hours
  • Minimum number of playthroughs: A lot of games
  • Number of missable achievements: None!
  • Do cheat codes disable achievements? No cheats!
  • Does difficulty affect achievements? No difficulty!
  • Glitchy achievements: None!
  • Unobtainable achievements: None!
  • Extra equipment needed? Kinect Sensor

Intro:
Welcome to the ping pong gem! This is a minigame based off of the retail game Kinect Sports. In this game all you will be doing is playing Ping Pong, nothing more, nothing less. Everything registers with the Kinect just fine, and there is not many motions you will be making. So let's get started!

Play Ping Pong:
All of the achievements in this game are for ranking up the levels to the max level of 10. You will need to complete each challenge for stars to rank you up. Once you beat all of the challenges, you will have all 101 stars to be reach the rank of King Pong (level 10). So just keep on playing the game and doing the various tasks the game asks you to do before you take your picture.

**Warning: In the settings of the game, there is an option to clear your missions. This will reset you back to level zero and will have to gain all the levels over again. So you probably won't want to click that button.

Conclusion:
Overall, this game is a very easy 100%, although not the best of games, it will be entertaining long enough for the completion. So have fun, and goodluck!

King Pong 5
Reach level 10 (or observe another player doing so) to gain the rank of King Pong.

Do the various tasks the game will ask you to do to achieve all 101 stars and reach level 10. Most of the tasks are very easy. For a top spin, use to hand to hit the ball upward; for a backspin, use your hand to hit the ball downwards. Also, a few people claim it to be easier for them to hit an ace left handed. This isn't a hard achievement, but it'll take a couple hours, so goodluck!

Super Smasher 5
Reach level 9 (or observe another player doing so) to gain the rank of Super Smasher.

See "King Pong" for more info.

The Natural 5
Reach level 8 (or observe another player doing so) to gain the rank of The Natural.

See "King Pong" for more info.

Paddle Prodigy 5
Reach level 7 (or observe another player doing so) to gain the rank of Paddle Prodigy.

Rally Master 5
Reach level 6 (or observe another player doing so) to gain the rank of Rally Master.

See "King Pong" for more info.

Net Vet 5
Reach level 5 (or observe another player doing so) to gain the rank of Net Vet.

See "King Pong" for more info.

Top Spinner 5
Reach level 4 (or observe another player doing so) to gain the rank of Top Spinner.

See "King Pong" for more info.

Amateur Acer 5
Reach level 3 (or observe another player doing so) to gain the rank of Amateur Acer.

See "King Pong" for more info.

The Ponger 5
Reach level 2 (or observe another player doing so) to gain the rank of The Ponger.

See "King Pong" for more info.

Spectator 5
Reach level 1 (or observe another player doing so) to gain the rank of Spectator.

See "King Pong" for more info.

No offense Kyle, but this guide doesn't feel or look very complete

Lol honestly dude, I feel you. I started the guide before the game. And was going to do my usual way of just filling it in as I go. But I can't think of anything to even put, since this game is just so simple. Like it is just Ping Pong. That is it, nothing more or less. There are no tricks or tips, and a guide is hardly even needed.

I haven't played this one in specific but I have done 10 frame bowling and am working on boxing fight. I think there are few things you can add to make the guide more full.

What you could do for extra information to put in is a list of challenges and the stars required to get to each level. I will leave this link of the boxing one I am working on right now for the sake of an example

Yeah I see that. I already 50'd the game though so I can't see the challenges. The challenge on here are so simple I don't see the need to list them, people will see them while playing and there really is no need to guide people through each one. I will see what I can do though, my guides are usually pretty well done, but this one just doesn't live up to expectations.

They're all relatively simple, but it listing them gives a good idea of what the gamer is gonna have to do.

I agree with your last line, I thought to myself now this isn't the awesome guide writing of the Foxxy Kyle that I know.

How do I set up to smash? Playing with a second player to make it easier, but now we're stuck on 3 goals that all require smashes.

Honestly getting a smash with the computer AI is much easier. If you just keep calming hitting it back to them with easy strokes eventually they will set you up for a smash. To get it with a second player would require one of you to hit it to the opposite side of the table to the point where it nearly goes off, and the other runs to hit it real quick. It will fly up in the air real sloppy like, which will set up the other player for the smash.

If I were you, I would do these single player.
