Your Fav 360 moments

as the end is near for the 360 what stand out moments (not game) really worked for you, try not to put in to many spoilers as people may not have played these games yet.

John Marston finale Red Dead Redemption

Gears of War 3 madworld scene

Battlefield 3 getting in attack chopper as the gunner, as it was being piloted properly....AMAZING

peace

The two that stick out in my head right now are Enslaved: Odyssey to the West and Portal 2. For me it was the entirety of the games, not specific moments.

When I got my 360 in July 2009 I purchased Grand Theft Auto 4 with it. Coming straight from a PS2 to an Xbox 360, I had no idea what achievements were. I basically played the GTA 4 story over and over, I found it so amazing because that was the first time I had experienced current-gen graphics. I just completely stumbled along achievements looking at my profile around Dec 2009/January 2010. From there I haven't really looked back and yet another Gamerscore whore was born. I've been thinking about playing Grand Theft Auto 4 again, as it is one of my favourite Xbox 360 games.

Another moment would be the ending of Halo 4 with epic music in the background. That was a pretty sweet moment as well. I had a lot of memorable moments on Halo 3 also.

When I first played MW2. This was the first day I got Xbox Live too, I'd never actually played an online game before so playing with my friends online was really awesome.

The endings of Bioshock and Red Dead Redemption aswell as they gave me goosebumps :P

Not my absolute favourite but as I'm not a fan of on-rails moments in games I have to tip my hat to the end of Far Cry 3 which brought a smile to my face especially when Ride of the Valkyries kicked in

For me, it's the first time you see the massive floating pillars on Halo 4 (and the accompanying music), the "Mad World" scene in Gears 3, stepping into the jet for the first time on the Battlefield 3 campaign, my first drive through the streets of 1940s Los Angeles in LA Noire, finally equipping badass armor in Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, and the first time I went Mel Gibson in AC III.

Portal 2. The whole game in general was totally amazing. Specific moments would include the Cave Johnson commentary in the office sections, and the boss fight. Won't say what happens, so not spoiling it, but the last thing you do to win is truly epic!

Oblivion. This was my first RPG and I was totally blown away by how big the game world was. So much to take in, and spent a few hundred hours just taking it all in. One of my most enjoyable games in the last 6 year's.

Minecraft. I played the demo when it first came out, thought meh. A mate bugged me to get it, so I looked through YouTube and came across Syndicate and his videos. I got interested very quickly and bought it. Still playing it now and loving every minute of it. Being able able to do what I want without restriction is perfect.

Far Cry 3. What a game! Great story, great visuals, and so much fun. Enjoyed everything about this game, and my GoTY by a long shot.

There have been many other moments in games that have been great, but these were moments that stuck out more. Not just because I got 100% on each game either. I just found them to be the most memorable games I've played out of a big selection so far.

Honestly it was back in Halo 3 when I would jump on with some mates and there would be 8-10 of us in a lobby and we would just play custom games.

Most of my epic gaming moments have taken place on BF3, but getting a RROD never gets old.

Definitely the Bioshock Would you kindly moment. Even though I knew it was part of the story line I still felt somewhat responsible and when a video game can make me feel like that they did a good job in my book.

It hasn't happened yet and I still don't fully know what to expect, but I'm sure the ending of BioShock Infinite will be one of my favourite moments of the year, if not for this entire console. From what my friends have said, and even they avoid spoilers, you will rethink everything.

Now if I could only get through my backlog and get to Infinite before the 720/Durango/whatever comes out..

  • Portal - pretty much the whole game.
  • Portal 2 - pretty much the whole game.
  • Half Life 2 Episode 2 - The end "fight".... more like a fucking warzone, madness!! Then the ending itself. Sweet heyzooz...
  • Mass Effect - pretty much the whole game was an out of body experience
  • Mass Effect 2 - going renegade and all the fucking psycho things Shepard says.
  • MW2 - The EMP burst scene from the view of the ISS.
  • Fallout 3 - Nuking Megaton, not nuking Megaton, Dog Meat the puppy, waltzing through Paradise Falls hunting down and killing every slaver, really so much in that game, eating my first human...
  • Bioshock - "Would you kindly", Andrew Ryan: "A Man Chooses, A Slave Obeys" (while getting pulped by a golf club) Gives me shivers just remembering it.
  • Battlefield 3 - Re-discovering that not all online MP sucks balls, gunning for a great chopper pilot, knifing everyone and anyone on the other team, especially friends , headshots on campers from 500+ yards. Fuck yeah!
  • Halo 3 ODST - after many attempts, hours, and much trial and tribulation, our team finally endured for Endure.
  • RDR - yeah, The Marsten Walkout. All the way.
  • Halo 3 - dropping a tank on friends
  • Lost Odyssey - collecting the memories, they were incredible
Shit man, so much I know I'm forgetting stuff.
