Man, every game should feature latitude and longitude coordinates, it even makes following a guide a mini-adventure for the user. Good work as always!

So I'm guessing there are no maps you can buy to show everything then like in FC3?

There are maps in the game that show all collectibles, so a guides not really needed, good work none the less.

Yes, there are still maps available. Some of them are still hard to find, and in the FC3 threads, some of the people still needed the videos.

Either way, you can save money until the end if it helps you, and don't need to buy maps. I figured I would just put this together today anyways

I also put them in numerical order, so if you're struggling to find one, you can quickly reference the video.

EDIT: I am so fuckin sick and tired of getting 1 star ratings every time I make a guide on this website. I've just about had enough.

Yeah that sucks, well if it makes you feel any better about it you got 5 star from me.

Even if this game doesn't need a collectible guide i appericate the fact that you went to the effort of making one anyway and that effort will get 5 stars from me so hopefully it will keep you around to make guide for other games that do need them.
So Cheers and thanks for the work you put into making this and your many other contributions to this site.

Don't worry, I 5-Starred this as soon as you posted it! People will always complain about something, even if that means discouraging and not appreciating the work other other members on this site.

Do the stars on here really matter that much to you?

They don't matter. At least they never did to me. But to be completely honest, it has become a tad bit demotivating when it happens for EVERY release. After a while, I wonder why I even post them in the first week.

I just ended up more frustrated over it than I should've been because of the effort I put into this guide. I woke up early with little sleep and did it as fast as I could, only to have a 2 star rating. Again, ratings usually don't matter to me, but I'm sure some people do use them to decide on whether a thread is worth visiting, especially lurking members.

Cheers for working on this

However I found buying the maps much easier. Find a collectable and set way point; bam. None the less, good job.

Oh and voted and tossed you some stars.

i cant believe the moaning brought this up to 4 stars. the game gives you everything you need to find the collectibles and this thread is as useless as any other ive seen.

Whatever. As long as he doesn't pick and choose and decide to like my other guides. I understand there's some redundancy here as the maps are available, but not every game has a perfect set-up for guides, and by the time I realized it, I was mostly done.

Well it seems like it was just like Far Cry 3 in which it didn't absolutely need a guide. I will admit some of those collectibles were difficult to find in that game because they were under the mountain or something and you had to find a way inside. If this game does it the same, then having the videos isn't such a bad idea.

No one likes to be voted 1 star when they've obvious spent some time on a thread. Happens to me all the time too.

Here is how I see it. Is it worth 5 stars? No, probably not. It's not as needed as other games need guides. But 1 star? Those are meant for threads that should be locked and deleted because they are terrible. 2 for ones that have bad grammar and don't do much for the site. If you rated a 1 you are just rating it down on purpose to hurt the author's score. Use the entire guide, then rate. Don't use it, at least look it over and judge it fairly. If the game didn't have the maps and collectibles in our faces some people would probably appreciate this a whole lot more

Anyways, let's move on. No need to stay on this topic.

As far as I understand, it's similar to Far Cry 3. You can buy maps, but many of them are in underwater, in structures, or in caves. Still more or less, they are shown to you.

I would definitely agree that this collectibles guide is not 100% necessary, but I also don't think it hurts to have it, as a just in case. And, I'm sure if there were no in-game maps, it would totally be 100% necessary. Also, I based my decision off the Far Cry 3 guide, which did use a video for the collectible achievements.

I'm on the same page as you though. Finishing touches and move on. Maybe the next game I get will benefit more from some form of guide.

I agree on Farcry 3, some of those were hard to figure out but I still managed fine without a guide, these collectibles were painfully easy as the caves are lit up from distance like a firework display lol.

Nobody's knocking the guide as such, for the most part your guides are sweet, but I think time was wasted a little on this one somewhat when you could of been working on something more beneficial, or spending time having some fun in the game.

Just opinion of course, but if anyone needs video confirmation for this particular game with how easy it pinpoints them, then maybe their playing the wrong game. A big plus point though, is it saves money on the maps. But even then, I bought the maps and all attachements and had 10k left over.

Yes, I think we concluded that this isn't the most useful of guides I've ever made. There are no other games I'm interested in at the moment until GRID, so I wouldn't have counted it as time wasted. Most people here don't really pay attention to the videos I make for fun regardless.

I don't see a point in deleting the thread, it may as well just sit here.

Let's just all move on, and I'll hopefully see you guys in a more useful guide in the near future.

Noo, it shouldn't be deleted, as said there are people out there that wont want to spend money on the maps, so this is good for them, and if you enjoy making them then carry on by all means. I did start following these guides until I realised how easy the stuff was to find, but I was just giving a nod to people who think the collectibles are a chore, that they actually aren't.

Came back to this thread after a long time.

Anyways, saw a formatting error, so fixed that. I hope some people found it useful even though it may have been redundant.
