Big Bumpin' Faq and Achievement Guide

This is The Langsta's Big Bumpin' Guide if you are going to use any material from it please mention my name with the material, and now onto the guide...

Big Bumpin' Faq + Achievement Guide

Game Type's (Quoted from the Intstruction Manual and slightly edited.)
  • Last Man Standing: This is one of those games whose name says it all. The object is to bump hard and often, inflicting enough damage to not only knock your opponents out of commision, but also make them to scared to get in a bumper with you in the ring again. Do this enough times and you will be "The Man". Or, more precisely, 'The Last Man Standing'. Ladies, no disrespect.

Personal Notes: The only things I can say about this really is to make sure you boost often (with A) and use the hazards (flames, pits, and buzzsaws, oh my!)
  • Own the Puck: This is bumper cars on a mission, and that mission is to keep-the-little-round-thing-away-from-the-mad-pack-of-puck-crazed-pack-of-puck-crazed-drivers. In "Own the Puck", you're still trying to throughly thrash your opponents, but now you'll be scored on how long you keep control of the puck. The thrashing you'll do just for fun. The Aim of the game is to be the first player to reach 300 points (30 seconds with the puck.)

Personal Notes: Make sure to use of any Super Magnet pickups (later discussed in the guide) and try to knock the puck into rounded corners to send it flying!
  • Bumpin' Hockey: Bumper cars and hockey, why hasn't thought of this before? Its hockey - with all its lovely smashing and bashing - taken to new heights. Some things to remember: To score a goal, the whole puck must be put across the goal line. Gamers are played over a standard 3-minute time period. If there's a draw, you go to sudden death, where the loser will be decided suddenly and swiftly by the next goal scored.

Personal Notes: Not to much to say here either, except to remember that if the puck has become heavy and you have protector you will be able to keep pushing it as normal. Having a Super Magnet and Heavy Puck is also a good combo.
  • Shockball: This is bumper cars under pressure. You're carrying a charged ball that's set to go off. The object is to unload it to other players by bumping into other players and driving like mad in the other direction. If your holding it when the count reaches zero you'll get a major jolt to your health. Keep in mind, the ball's shockwave likes to share the pain in a four car radius so being close to it not a good idea when it goes off.

Personal Notes: Try bumping into someone when giving someone the shockball, it seperates you and gives you more time to run for it. A good strategy I've found is that if you can get a Leech power up while you have the ball and give someone the Leech and the shockball then its a almost guaranteed get-away.
  • Power Surge: Attention fans of fans of electricity! This is the game you've been waiting for. Your task is to collect charges from charge points that light up in one of four select spots in the arena. The first car to touch the active charge point, collects all its charge. From there you need to deposit the charge at a deposit point (looks similar to a generator) before others knock the charge out of you. First player to 300 points of charge wins.
Personsal Notes: Overdrive is great for trying to score, and Protector is good for stopping others...what more is there to say?

World Bump Champion15 This is awarded for winning the World Bump tournament (the last tourney in the game).

First Victory
10 This is awarded for being the winner in ANY game that takes place across Xbox Live.
Do The Broiler Last Man Standing. Then have your of your friends drive off the edge.
Slippery Like Eel10 Awarded after 30 seconds without loss of health in any Last Man Standing game, online or offline.
Do the Broiler Last Man Standing. Just have no one hit each other (Note the person in the top right corner may have to move to avoid a jet of flame).

20 Running total of points scored in games of Own The Puck played over Xbox Live equals 10 minutes.
Do any Own the Puck map and have no one else try and get the puck. If you do this for 20 games that will equal 10 minutes of control. Note that you will not get this achievement until you host a Own the Puck match and gain control of the puck. All other game times still make progress for this achievement.

Outclassed!20 Win a game of anything on Xbox Live without pressing "boost".
Do The Broiler Last Man Standing and have your other players drive off the map. You will get it as long as you don’t hit A!

What happened?20 Finish on the winning team in any Hockey level, having only scored due to opponents own-goals.
Just have your others players score on themselves a few times and then just sit there for the rest of the game.

Knockout King20 Awarded when the winning total of Knockouts (counting both online and offline) reaches 100.
First off the makers of the game messed up! The description should read "Awarded when knocked out 100 times." Now then...
1. Go to Ice Box 2. Press X and go to the "Have It Your Way" screen 3. Set Health to 100, AI level on Hard, and Hazards off 4. When you start the game crash into the wall to get rid of most of your health 5. Drive into the middle of the map 6. Once you have died press A to instantly end the match. 7. Repeat steps 4-6 until you get the achievement. Please note that dying from crashing into the wall does not count towards the achievement, and having a computer bump you into the wall and dying from the walls impact and not the computers impact does not count towards the achievement. This makes it necessary to stay in the middle.

Striker20 Awarded when the total number of goals scored by a player's profile reaches 100.
For 2-3 people the following strategy devolped by The Langsta, BenD the Truth, Von Kittles, and Rdubya146...
Choose the map Ice Box .Have the person trying to get the achievement get on red team. Then if its only two people playing have the other on blue team. If there is three people playing have the third on red team. First have red team score, then have the person on the blue team never move and the computer will glitch temporarily (this is due to the fact that the computer wants the player to hit the puck, when the player doesn't move at first the computer is not sure what to do). Regardless about the computers issues the player trying to get the achievement needs to boost across the map and hit the puck in the new gap due to the computers slight movements. If there is only two players then the player trying to get achievement needs to beat his computer teammate to the puck (which if you boost is no problem). This strategy works and on my best game with this strartegy I got 55 goals. The highest I have seen in one game with this strartegy is 65 done by my friend Rdubya146. If you have four players then just let each other score.

Not Playing Anymore!20 Awarded for finishing an online game on any Own the Puck level with 0 points.
Just join a Own the Puck match and stay as far away from the puck as possible and it should be no problem to get this achievement.

Hat Trick20 Awarded when the player finishes a game of Hockey over Xbox Live having scored 3 or more goals.
Just use the striker strategy I posted above.

Win the Bump Master Classic10 Awarded for winning the Bump Master Classic and unlocking the bonus car.
Beat the third tournament in singleplayer. (The car unlocks auto- matically)
Charge!!15 Awarded for dropping off 100 points of charge in one go.
Get four players and have them just stand as aside as you go from the charge point to the deposit point.

Completed Games: Halo 3, Bioshock, Oblivion, TMNT, EA Sports FN 3, Big Bumpin, King Kong, Bomberman Live
