LEGO Star Wars III Achievement Guide

This is my first guide and is a work in progress so bear with me as I constantly update. Message me if you have any suggestions and thanks for the patience.

Notes:
Some vehicles, characters, and novelty vehicles can be unlocked in different levels depending on how you progress through Story Mode. If you see the same character or vehicle listed as unlocked in different levels that is why.

Some characters and vehicles are also not available until you accumulate enough Gold Bricks to enter new areas. That information will be noted next to the unlockable i.e R4-P17 (Resolute Flight Deck)

"Fives" is the only character that doesn't have a code and can only be unlocked by comlpeting the Story Mode level "Rookies". Savage Opress is a character that can only be unlocked by typing in his code (mell07) in the cheats menu.

Ship areas are referenced as follows:

The Resolute (Republic Ship)
  • Resolute Bridge - Area from which the game begins and main control console is located
  • Resolute Engine Room - Requires 4 Gold Bricks to enter and is the first openly accessible area you can move to on the ship
  • Resolute Med Bay - Requires 6 Gold Bricks to enter and is to the left of the Engine Room. You can create your own LEGO characters in this room.
  • Resolute Bacta Chambers - Located down the elevator after the Med Bay, this is where you go to unlock Minikit Classic Characters
  • Resolute Brig - This is where purchasable prisoner characters are held during story mode until they are released
  • Resolute Hangar Bay - Located after the Brig, this is where your Gold Bricks are found and where your Novelty Vehicles are kept.
  • Resolute Turret Emplacements - Through the left hand elevator after the Hangar Bay, this is where you will go for a Red Brick and also to remove debris for the space mission near the planet Ryloth.
  • Resolute Flight Deck - Requires 10 Gold Bricks to enter and is down the left hand elevator after leaving the north most door from the Engine Room. This is where space vehicles are kept and purchased and the only way to travel to the Invisible Hand.
  • Resolute Ground Assault Platform - Requires 15 Gold Bricks to enter as is down the elevator on the opposite side from the Flight Deck. This is where you will be able to access the Republic Ground Assault missions and vehicles.
The Invisible Hand (Separatist Ship)
  • Invisible Hand Hangar Bay - Main landing platform on the Invisible Hand can only be accessed via the Resolute Flight Deck. Here you can access all Separatist space vehicles as well as any Novelty vehicles.
  • Invisible Hand Bounty Room - Located to the left of the Hangar Bay this is where you can find the control console for the hidden mission "Hostage Crisis" as well as complete Bounty Hunter Missions.
  • Invisible Hand Turret Emplacements - Located to the left of the Bounty Room, this is where you will go to unlock the Gold Brick space mission while near the planet Maridun.
  • Invisible Hand Bridge - Requires 30 Gold Bricks to enter, located on the right hand side of the Invisible Hand Hangar Bay. This is where you can access the first hidden mission "Castle of Doom" and also where a Red Brick can be obtained.
  • Invisible Hand Droid Ship - Requires 25 Gold Bricks to enter, located in the middle of the Invisible Hand Hangar Bay. This is where you can access the Separatist Ground Assault missions and vehicles and also where you can locate a Red Brick. The control console for the Ground Assault missions is behind a destructible wall along the back middle of the wall.
  • Invisible Hand Observation Deck - Requires 20 Gold Bricks to enter. This is where you will find a Red Brick, another control console and where General Grievous can first be purchased.

Jedi Master 70
True Jedi in every level. (Single Player Only)

By the time you finish story mode, you should probably have this. This achievement can either be earned in story mode or free play so if you miss it on your story run through, don't worry.

You can use the Red Bricks for score multipliers as well. You can obtain them or you can used these codes.

Score X2 - yzphuv
Score X4 - 43t5e5
Score X6 - sebhgr
Score X8 - byfsaq
Score X10 - n1ckr1
Stud Magnet - 6mz5ch

Cheat! 70
Collect all Red Power Bricks. (Single Player Only)

There are two ways to obtain this achievement. You can hunt them down and buy them or you can input the codes from the start menu under the extras section.

All locations for the Red Bricks and how to get them can be found nicely here.

Here are the necessary cheat codes, thanks milkybrs r on me:

Perfect Deflect - 3F5L56
Dark Side - x1v4n2
Fast Build - gchp7s
Invincibility - j46p7a
Minikit Detector - csd5na
Super Speeders - b1d3w3
Score X2 - yzphuv
Score X4 - 43t5e5
Score X6 - sebhgr
Score X8 - byfsaq
Score X10 - n1ckr1
Stud Magnet - 6mz5ch
Regenerate Hearts - 2d7jns
Character Studs - qd2c31
Super Saber Cut - bs828k
Dual Wield - c4es4r
Glow in the Dark - 4gt3vq
Red Brick Detector - n3r01a

Viceroy of the fleet 30
Convert every system to CIS. (Single Player Only)

To access Ground Assault for the Separatists, you must be on the Invisible Hand and have collected enough Gold Bricks to open the ship located in the main hangar bay. Once through, there should be a control console on the main deck of the ship that will allow you to access that console.

Buy a heavy vehicle to blow through the defenses and there you have it. Note that all planets in the system must be converted to Separatist (Red) at the same time in order to unlock the achievement.

While working for the 100% achievement, once every system has been converted to Separatist once, you will unlock Grand Moff Tarkin as a playable character. Note that if a system begins under Separatist control it must be converted to Republic and then back to Separatist in order to unlock the character.

Admiral of the fleet 30
Convert every system to the Republic. (Single Player Only)

To access Ground Battle for the Republic, you must have access to particular control console. To get there from the main hub, go down the elevator on your left and head to the far right corner with the metal grating. Once through, take the elevator to the right, which requires gold bricks (I believe 40) and go through there.

After you get down there, you will need to buy a heavy vehicle to blow through the locked grating in the middle of the room. (I suggest the AT-AP) That is the ground assault console you see through it. Note that all planets in the system must be converted to Republic (Blue) at the same time in order for the achievement to unlock.

While working for the 100% achievement, once every system has been converted to Separatist once, you will unlock Chancellor Palpatine as a playable character. Note that if a system begins under Republic control it must be converted to Separatist and then back to Republic in order to unlock the character.

Ground Assault Tactics:
Always pick a heavy vehicle to start, they can take care of all basic and silver bases quickly and efficiently leaving only gold structures to deal with later.
  • Republic: AT-AP Walker or Pirate Speeder Tank
  • Separatist: Pirate Speeder Tank, AAT or Super Tank.
Level Tactics:
  • Destroy Statues: Focus first on what protects the statues followed by destroying the statues themselves. Do not waste time destroying enemy bases.
  • Build Escape Pod: Eliminate all nearby bases, pausing to build the newest available building in the area once the base has been wiped. Build your Escape Pod on the same base you built your shield for added protection. Destroy only what you need to.
  • Destroy Enemy Command Center: Focus on what protects that Command Center and eliminate all protection first. The give everything you've got to crushing the Command Center.
  • Destroy All Enemy Buildings: The best advice for this one is to use the small Speeder Bikes or something along those lines. They may be slower than a heavy vehicle, but they can destroy any building on the map without having to worry about chasing down a different vehicle.

Jango's army! 50

Isn't negotiation the Jedi way? 20
Complete all Bounty missions. (Single Player Only)

In order to begin and complete the Bounty Hunter missions, you must have accomplished the following:
  • Completed Story Mode (for all available bounties)
  • Completed the "Hostage Crisis" mission aboard the Invisible Hand (to unlock Bounty Hunter missions)
The Bounty Hunter missions can be located on the Invisible Hand.

To get there, simply take the same path you would have taken to get to the "Hostage Crisis" mission. Go up to the platform in front of the curtain to begin. Thanks to jagiber85, an awesome Bounty Hunter mission guide can be found here.

The dark side I sense in you 50
Free all villains from the Resolute brig. (Single Player Only)

There are six characters in all that need to be freed from the brig. This will be done while in the hub and not in story or free play modes. The brig is located on the Republic Ship Resolute.

To get there from the main hub, go down the elevator on the left and once through head to the right at the bottom of the screen. Use gold bricks to open the corridor and there you have it. The first four characters are unlocked by completing the story mode and viewing their respective cutscenes.
  • Poggle The Lesser
  • Dr. Nuvo Vindi
  • Wat Tambor
  • Lok Durd
The last two are unlocked by completing Ground Assault Levels for the Republic.
  • Nute Gunray - Naboo Level
  • Whorm Loathson - Christophsis Level
You will need Bounty Hunters, Charge Characters, Droid Characters and Sith Characters to free them and purchase them once you've unlocked them.

Each cell needs to be unlocked and the methods for doing so are fairly straightforward with the exception of the second cell from the right. You have to use a Sith character to rotate the dial with the blue lights on it clockwise until the four corners are lit as well. Then use a Droid character to open the cell.

Note that for that cell I used Anakin with the Red Power brick for Dark Side activated, if you find you are having trouble. Try moving around a bit too if you find you can't highlight it immediately.

Finders Keepers 10
Hijack 20 enemy units in Ground Battles.

If you don't obtain this during your playthrough of the story, you will while making your way through the Ground Assault Levels. Attack an enemy until the driver gets tossed from the vehicle, then board it and take off running. Do this 20 separate times.

Great shot kid 10
Destroy an enemy building with a proton torpedo

You will get this during the "Gungan General" story mode level. Collect a torpedo from a dispenser while in a vehicle and shoot it at the purple target on a building to destroy it.

It ain't like dusting crops boy 10
Complete: 5 Loop the loops, 5 Back flips, 5 corkscrews.

The best place to complete this is while cruising in space between the Republic and Separatist ships. While flying, use the and simply double tap forward, backwards and left or right five times each. Double tapping will cause you to do the trick once.

Blending in 10
Have all your party members disguised as Senate Commandos in Hostage Crisis. (Story mode only)

In the Hostage Crisis level you will be attacked by Senate commandos, once they die they will drop their helmet. Simply walk up to the helmet with each member of your party and press to put the helmet on. Once all members have it on the achievement will pop. Do this after the sniper section that kicks off the level.

They'll never see us coming 20
Win 3 consecutive Arcade Mode Battles.

For this one, you will need to hook up a second controller. Once it is active you can select arcade mode from and control console. You can set timers and parameters for the arcade mode battles, easiest is to set it up to destroy the enemy command center on a 3 minute timer. Do this three times.

Attack of the clones! 10
Deploy 500 Clones.

Another one of those achievements that you should probably obtain while playing through the story mode. Build buildings that deploy clones. Once you hit 500 total across all game modes (Ground Battles apply too) this achievement will pop.

Land-o Calrissian 10
On a flying level, land a space ship whilst controlling Lando Calrissian.

You need to first collect all the mini kits on the Shadow of Malevolence level. Info on that here. You use his cheat code (eraewe) to unlock him for the cheats menu

Once done, go to the mini kit room on the Republic Ship Resolute. From the main hub, head down the elevator on the left and go to the bottom left doorway in the next section. Use your collected gold bricks to open the doors and go through the elevator.

Find Lando's pod, open and buy him. Now land a vehicle with him as your main character, either in story mode, free play mode or in the hub.

Got a bad feeling about this 10
Land on the Invisible Hand.

You will get this the first time you travel to the enemy ship, the Invisible Hand. See earlier in the guide for how to get there if you haven't already.

Field commander 10
Using the Radio ability, command troops 50 times.

This one will come with time and you should have it by the time you complete both the Republic and Separatist ground assault campaigns. You have to use a character with the radio ability like Commander Cody and have troops with the radio signals above their heads.

Walk up to them and press to get them under your command and then go to a target and hold until it highlights to get them to attack. That counts as one command. Do this 50 times.

Saberang Master 10
Use Yoda to defeat 5 enemies with one lightsaber throw.

This one is simple, all you have to do is use Yoda (I did this in ground assault) and hold the button to activate your light saber throw. Then simply select five droids (Battle Droids are best) and release! Achievement unlocked.

The Force is with you 10
Complete a story level without dying (and no invincibility cheat).

Simply complete a level without dying or cheating. It may sound complicated but it really isn't. Just take your time and don't fall off a ledge or anything. I did this on the Legacy of Terror level. You can also use the regenerate hearts Red brick to complete this as well.

Regenerate Hearts - 2d7jns

We really did say no prisoners 10
Destroy 100 Droids with the Clone Chain-gun.

This can be done in Story Mode or Ground Assault. Kill 100 guys with Hevy on the "Rookies" level in one sitting is the easiest I find as there is a never ending stream of droid troops. This is not cumulative across multiple playthroughs.

UH OH! 20
Using the Force, take control of a Super Battle Droid and destroy 50 other Droids.

Using a Jedi, use the force by holding and picking up a super battle droid. Either the blackish grey ones, the yellow ones or the rocket ones. While holding one, shoot and destroy 50 other droids. You will end up targeting most of them once they get close by. The level "Jedi Crash" apparently works well (thanks Kestrel)

Goldie Blocks 10
Overheat and destroy 50 gold LEGO bricks.

You will get this well after one run through of the story mode, most likely while doing replays for minikits or Ground Assaults. Any yellow bricked object will need to be shot repeatedly either by a vehicle or by a group of troops under your command or also a battle droid you have grabbed using the force. Destroy 50 gold bricked LEGO objects to unlock the achievement.

Twice the pride, double the fall 10
Defeat Anakin with Count Dooku

I did this one on my first visit to the Invisible Hand after buying Dooku. You can also do this during the Castle of Doom level or just about anywhere, even in Free Play. Use Dooku, kill Anakin. That is all.

Stealth wealth 70
Collect all Gold bricks. (Single Player Only)

There are several ways to get gold bricks.
  • Completing Story Mode Levels (22 Gold Bricks)
  • Achieving True Jedi Status for a level (22 Gold Bricks)
  • Collecting all minikits in a level (22 Gold Bricks)
  • Completing Ground Assault Missions (32 Gold Bricks)
  • Completing Bounty Hunter Missions (16 Gold Bricks)
  • Completing Space Missions (16 Gold Bricks)
From and control console you can select to travel to a system. in each system there is a gold brick mission that can be completed in space. Now, in most cases you can just hop in a ship and fly out into space and find the gold brick marker halfway between the two vessels.

There are two special cases, however.
  • Maridun - Go to the turret gun hangar aboard the Invisible Hand and shoot down the enemy ship until you hear a sound similar to a minikit being picked up. Now you can access the Gold Brick space mission for that system.
  • Ryloth - Go to the turret gun hangar aboard the Resolute and shoot down the debris blocking your view of the other ship. Once you hear the sound that sounds like a minikit being picked up you can now access the Gold Brick space mission for that system.
Also note that each level in ground battle has to be converted to both Republic and Separatist. Even though a level may start out as red for Separatist, you will need to convert it to Republic (Blue) to get one gold brick and then back to Separatist (Red) for a second gold brick.

Once you have collected all 130 Gold Bricks, a surprise waits for you in the main hangar bay of the Resolute.

A presence I've not felt since 70
Collect all the minikits. (Single Player Only)

A minikit guide is almost complete and can be found here.

Though the game does encourage co-op play, as per the parameters of the achievement, only the lead profile (the 1st player profile with the save) can earn the achievement. If for some reason, you didn't obtain the achievement, be patient. My friend had it pop randomly later while wandering the halls of the Resolute. For context, he was going back and redoing levels to see if he had missed anything.

Impressive, most impressive 100
Complete the game to 100% (Single Player Only)

Only once you have completed the list underneath will you be able to attain 100%. The big places where people miss things that count towards the 100 are highlighted in bold.
  • You must collect 220 Minikit Pieces (20 Story levels including Prologue and Epilogue plus 2 Hidden Missions)
  • You must complete the Ground Assault Missions for both the Republic and the Separatists (That makes a total of 32 missions, 16 each which yes, is more than the achievements require)
  • You must collect or use cheats for all 18 Red Bricks
  • You must purchase and/or unlock all characters, 114 in all. 22 of which are Classics.
  • You must acquire all Ground Assault Vehicles. 5 Republic, 5 Separatist and 2 neutral for a total of 12.
  • You must acquire all Flight Based Vehicles. There are 16 Republic Ships, 12 Separatist Ships and 12 Novelty Vehicles for a total of 40. For the Novelty Vehicles to show up you must complete the level 100% (True Jedi, Story Level Complete, All Minikits as well as find/build and use the vehicle). You don't purchase them.
  • You must complete all Bounty Hunter Missions. There are 16 total.
  • You must collect all 130 Gold Bricks. See that particular achievement for the break down. You must also build the LEGO structure with all 130 bricks (Republic).
  • You must "True Jedi" every level.

For the True Jedi in every level, you can use the score multipliers to get it faster. Turn on the x2, x4, x6, x8, and x10 to get True Jedi in a minute. You can put the cheat codes in the guide as well. The only one that affects the achievements is the completing the level without dying.

Honestly, I did that a couple of times before I purchased the vehicles. Trial and error for sure.

You need 30 bricks to access "Castle of Doom". Guide says 15-20 you believe.

Thanks for the guide it will be useful in the future.

The dark side I sense in you

For this you only need 1 to 5 cells full, you get the chev when opening the 6th cell, but you do not need the prisoner in there, same as getting the brick.

The land o one can be done ship to ship in hub rather than in a level.

For the "kill 100 droids with the gatling laser", I suggest using the level Rookies as there is an infinite column continually advancing on you when your trying to get the explosive cart. Can be achieved on Story ( and unintentionally since there is so many)

You can get this a lot easier than described, just set the time and everything to the lowest amount, and then have second controller blow up the only building they have. Easy.

They'll never see us coming 20G
Win 3 consecutive Arcade Mode Battles.

For this one, you will need to hook up a second controller. Once it is active you can select arcade mode from and control console. Go to that and collect the most points to win a battle. Do this three times.

"Jedi Crash" is a good mission. After landing on a platform, plenty of battle droids spawn.

Its outside of the cell on the right and you can see blinking lights. try moving around a bit and if you still can't select it, this exactly how i got it.

I had Anakin with the red brick for dark side turned on and every other cell opened. From there, follow my instructions for the guide.
