Favourite Desk?

Personally my favourite was Traffic, just because of the huge shoot-out in the Fallen Idol and Bekowsky's patter. What about you guys? And why?

(And yes, "Homicide" is spelt incorrectly - Sugar!)

Gotta go with Vice. Although there were only 3 main story missions, they were all creatively designed and were able to show off what the game had to offer.

I voted for Traffic, really enjoyed that desk, would have been Vice if it wasn't for the toss-pot of a slimey partner, Roy, you get landed with....If that guy were any more sleazy he would be a brothel.

I'd have to go with Homicide. Pretty gritty with all the murders (obviously).

Homicide. Liked Rusty as a partner a great deal (although Biggs is my favourite) and the cases were really intricately woven together and clever. Especially enjoyed the clue hunting in the final case.

Arson would've been better if there were more cases and more Biggs(!). But sometimes... all those charred remains, it was a little jarring and even more gruesome than the homicide desk in my opinion.

I liked Vice. Homicide was cool. Arson was boring. (Same case, different family each time? Come on.)

Homicide all the way for me. Great storyline, intriguing cases and ended with a bang. Arson also had a pretty good tie-in but the homicide cases were just too damn good.

As for partners, I liked Biggs and Rusty.

Loved Homicide for the way it all tied together perfectly. It was like watching the classic cop shows. Spoilers below

I have to admit that on my first playthrough I started suspecting the temp barkeep we met early on in the cases when a minor line of dialogue about a temporary bartender working the night before was thrown into an interview on a later cases. It's those little details of continuity that made the final homicide case so epic. The other cases just seemed to lack that same continuity, whether it was due to cut cases in the final version of the game or just the way the cases worked out, but it didn't come off as clean as the homicide cases progressed.

Vice, it tied into the full plot really well. I would of said Homicide, but I only loved the last case in it.

Mine is Traffic for a weird reason - I liked the standalone cases that weren't connected to one another, unlike in Homicide & Arson. Vice was good with this, too, but the fact that Traffic came first made for a fresher-feeling experience.

It's been so many months since I've had the game so I can't really remember, but I did enjoy the case where you had to find clues in all the different landmarks for some person playing a game with you.
