Where do you keep your wallet?

I know this seems a bit strange but...I've noticed people looking at me weird when I walk around with my wallet bulging out of my left/right pants pocket rather than my back pocket. Sometimes I feel like Gas Station owners or small store owners might think I'm "shoplifting", of course that might just be some weird paranoia.

For the most part, I assumed wallets are usually kept by most people in the back pocket of their pants. But I wanna see if that theory's right...so, where do you keep yours? I never felt comfortable sticking it in my back pocket (and honestly, someone would be able to swipe it a lot easier there than if it's tucked away in one of my two pants pockets), especially if I'm sitting down.

On a few instances... I've put it in my jacket pocket or something, just depends on the situation.

Front right pocket. Never had it in my back pocket, I couldn't stand it back there. For some reason I feel like I'll lose it if it's back there.

I put it in my jacket pocket normally, zipped up and I know it can't be taken. When I take it off however, I put it into my side pockets. Back pocket I never put anything there unless its really not important. Just feel like someone will come and swipe it if the chance arises.

I keep mine in my back pocket but I have a habit of checking to make sure it's still there every few minutes.

I bet I look hot randomly patting my butt

Back pocket. My wallet is thin enough that I don't notice it usually when I'm sitting. No I'm not poor, just it's made out of the inner tube of a bike tire.

Can people really handle their wallet on their back or side pants pocket? Pretty annoying if you have a stuffed wallet and if your jeans are too tight for small pockets, it can be a pain really especially when your wallet is only carrying coins, bills, important notes or unused condoms, yet its already full. Can people really resist that?

Instead of the flat version that google images have this is the real version I have, and stuffed for sure, still annoying if you wear it on pants pocket, I think I should find a new wallet when I get the money for it.

I'm also sick.

I do admit that newer pants I buy or some tighter brands (I don't go skinny jeans, my nuts would hate me) makes having objects in your pockets uncomfortable. Wallets, phones...etc. I haven't upgraded to anything fancy like the rest of this generation...still using a silly flipphone, so I usually have both my wallet and the phone in the same pocket with my keys in opposite side-pocket.

Mine is also in my back pocket and I do the same. Every 10-20 minutes I will randomly touch all my pockets to make sure everything is there.

Left my wallet at the club last night playing pool with mates, rocked up at 8:00 this morning and luckily someone handed it into the bar.

My wallet is thin enough to sit there comfortably. I got a small wallet just for the reason that it can only hold notes, my licence, bank card, Medicare card and EB world card. Also the unused condom. Bought it so I didn't stuff it with coins and it would bust open at the sides. All my coins go in my pockets.

You should watch out, I suggest being careful if that's what you think.

Also the fact that a mod send me a private message after making a thread last night in the off-topic forums and then being deleted in less than a minute for being "inappropriate".

Always in the side, sometimes in a coat pocket usually on the inside of the coat, but never in the back. I put my smaller keys there so I barely feel them if I sit down.

This.

Except, my fear is that people will pick pocket it from the back I always pat down my pants anytime I leave from one place to another.

lol. I have something very similar to that.

It's a roll of £5 notes held by an elastic band but rather than folded in half each new note is wrapped around the last. Just over £100 in it at last count.

My wallet spends most of it's time in a draw at home. When it does get an outing it's either in a zipped leg pocket or standard side pocket. I like to be able to feel it there without having to check. Back pockets just feel awkward and not very secure.

Back right pocket.

I know it can easily be stolen there, but it'd feel too weird in my front pockets.

I use a money clip for notes and have coins loose in my front left hand pocket, along with any cards/other wallet related items
My wallet stays at home with the specific items taken out for the occasions they're needed. I just don't see the need to carry around all that stuff all the time when most of it never gets used.

I've heard keeping it in your front pocket is easier so you don't get robbed, but if you don't live in a high crime area, I feel just keeping it in your back pocket is fine

so, i assume were talking about jeans?

i have a few pairs of jeans and a few pairs of sweatpants, i sometimes find jeans uncomfortable, so i wear sweatpants most of the time.

this sort of stuff:

if im not wearing a coat, ill use my pockets. my coat has inside left and right pockets, in my left i have my phone, and in my right i have wallet and keys, which both fit perfectly.

if im wearing jeans, ill put it in my back left pocket, don't know why, that just feels right. all of the jeans i wear, it would not be possible to put it in either front pocket, and it only just has enough room for my keys.

and sweatpants have left and right pockets, which are deep so you fit anything in there.

I put it in my back pocket.
