GTA V Strategy Guide

I hardly ever buy strategy guides, in fact the last one that I bought was the Kingdom Hearts 2 one, many years ago.
Usually if I need collectibles, Walkktroughs, location of items etc. I go on Youtube or using the game Wikis mostly, but with GTA V coming out shortly, I highly doubt that there's a 100% detailed guide to find collectibles or some useful items in a few days.
So should I get it?

I'd recommend it. With a game this size, the information will trickle in on the internet, and will take some time to settle down, while the guide is there already. It's also a fantastic reference book if you need to quickly check something out, rather than sorting through a load of pages on the internet to finally get the answer you want.

I'm probably going to preorder it on Saturday(when I next have money). You can't say no to 7. I just hope they have some left and that I get it on release date by paying for first class delivery. Waiting a day or two more wouldn't bother me too much as I'd just be doing the missions.

I was maybe planning to order it from Tesco and the estimated delivery date is 31st October... Will have to settle for Amazon and hope they have stock on Saturday.

Just ordered.. just decided given the game size and already mentioned easier handy reference if somewhere in the middle of nowhere and want to check something without laptop or mobile phone internet search. 7 bit of a bargain these days to be honest.

I'm not sure...
I know when i go to pick up my copy of GTA V @ GAME, they will ask if i want a nice shinny Guide Book, and model it for me like they do....lol...
But it's so tempting to peek at what's where and how to complete this or that...
Then before you know it your following the Guide for the collectibles, jumps etc.
I have brought Guide books before, but this game is going to be so big & take 100hrs or so to complete single player side, do i really need a guide?
But by the sounds of it alot of the main people on this site are getting the guide, and i think the site will be full off Q&A all over the place & full of stupid questions, until it gets cleaned up anyway...
What to do, 4 days left to decide.....

I've bought a few game guides, but the only ones I've bought that I've found useful were Skyrim and Final Fantasy XIII-2. Others I've bought were rubbish (Saints Row 3, Far Cry 3, Fable II etc..

But this guide I'm definitely getting. Pre-ordered the limited edition because I like my guides to be hardback. I can't wait for it.

I've brought the LE GTAV guide. I have all GTA SG's from III onwards, so I'd like to carry on with my collection.

Plus it'll help with the collectables.

Did you guys get the info from the Guide Book or something..
As i might pick up the Guide Book after all, if there's that many different collectibles to find.
As i plan to 100% single player anyway....

I brought my LE version today from Amazon. The normal one was still left in stock but there was no bundle of both this and the game combined for purchase.

I've actually added a few more since then, including the one below (BL2 LE). I've also just found a few more which will be some of the other GTAs. I'm in the process of selling off some now just to make a small pile of pennies.

I picked this one up back when it came out and I've never liked the cover art. Same thing happened with the boring steelcase artwork that came in the loot chest.
