Do you love sequels? Do you feel compelled to play them just to see what's going to happen with a game that you loved the first time around? Maybe you just have a weird completionist compulsion or brand loyalty. Who knows. Here's a collection of four sequels that I enjoyed just as much or even more than the original.

Ninja Gaiden 2 took everything I loved from the original Xbox game and then amped it up with the addition of some of the hardest DLC I've ever experienced.

Mass Effect 2 blew open the story of Mass Effect 1 and gave us an idea of how big the Reaper threat really was. At the same time it gave us amazing new characters (Thane and Miranda) while expanding some of my favorites from the original (Liara and Garrus). It also gets high marks from me for some of the most fun DLC I've played with the Lair of the Shadow Broker.

Condemned 2 kept the dark brutal grittiness of the original and added a heavy dose of the supernatural. What's creepier than serial killers? Serial killers and cultists, that's what.

Overlord 2. Who doesn't love minions following your commands? Whether they be to launch fireballs at sheepies or back stab sneak attack a troll, your personal army never says no. Not even when you sacrifice them at the forge to selfishly boost the power of your own weapons. If one game of minion-powered destruction is good, a second is even better!"
