Lightbulb Number of T-Hunt games needed to complete to achieve each rank

Using the experience stats from BiPoL4r BuNNy and the rank images from xX MaslaN Xx's guide I decided to create this guide which tells you how many games of co-op terrorist hunt needed to be completed in order to achieve each rank.

I originally worked out and scribbled down a rough version of this for myself to use and it has made ranking up alot easier for me because i know exactally when i'm going to rank up instead of getting frustrated because i've played (x) amount of games and havn't even went up 1 bar (we've all been there, well mainly the higher ranks!!). This is also the reason i calculated the amount of games you'll have to play per bar.

Just thought I'd write it up here in a better format to share with you guys.

Important Note: These ranks will only work correctly if you play co-op terrorist hunt with the enemy density set to high, on realistic setting - 600 exp per game. Also note that the "games until you rank up" means games you'll need to play from one rank till the next; not games total. In total starting from Private Second Class you'll have to complete 1129 co-op terrorist hunt missions to achive the rank of Elite.

Private Second Class

Private First Class

Specialist

Corporal

Sergeant

Staff Sergeant

Sergeant First Class

Master Sergeant

First Sergeant

Sergeant Major

Second Lieutenant

First Lieutenant

Captain

Major

Lt. Colonel

Colonel

Elite

Hope this guide helps to make getting the "Best of the Best" achievement that bit more bearable. If anything in this guide needs fixed give me a shout. Also i'm still working on getting to elite rank so if you're up for playing sometime on LVU campus and don't mind doing the breach glitch, give me a shout. I can usually finish a game in around 2-3 minutes. My GT is SuperWeeSplash.

Goodluck

P.S. This is my first proper guide so some feedback would be much appreciated, good or bad (go easy on me though lol)

We have been using this online calculator all this time, not sure why we need this overly large table/guide.

Oh right, i didn't even know the online calculator existed or i wouldn't of wasted my time making this, Cheers for the link. lol. Wow just checked it out there, it's pretty awesome. Only thing is that it doesn't tell you how many games you'll have to play per slot. Well if a moderator wants to delete this thread then thats cool.

It tells you points per bar... It has most of the important info when trying to rank up though.

What does it mean by "rubberbanding"? Is that some reference to games where you just use tape/rubberbands to hold down sticks/buttons to do all the work for you?

Rubberbanding is away to boost in the game without having to play it. Basically it's placing a rubberband around your two control sticks to simulate you playing the game so the computer thinks you're playing and rewards you with exp If you search on the forums you can find out how to do it. I recommend, for the most part, just playing co-op terrorist hunt on LVU campus with enemy density set to high on relaistic setting. It is the quickest way to rank up. I can usually finish a game in less than 3 mins. Hit me up with a friend request if you want. I'm on most of the time. My GT is SuperWeeSplash

You need three people, one to host a dedicated server, and two players. The server should make an attack and defend game, no respawns, 20 minutes long, and automatic start (dedicated servers only). The two players are the boosting couple who will get exp. They use rubberbands to keep themselves moving in the game but they still need wired controllers or play and charge kits.

This is the dumbest way to boost IMO. Much easier to just do T-hunts with an experienced team.

I agree with Shinobi273 on this. Far quicker to do co-op terrorist hunt as your main form of getting exp. 1200 exp in 5-6 mins versus the same amount in 20mins if you use the rubberband boost. Saying that however. I might start leaving my console on over night to gain a few extra exp while I sleep lol

Cool, thanks (you too, Shinobi). Also, I was just asking out of curiosity (not looking to boost). I don't even have the first RSV. If you've got RSV2, though, lemme know; I just recently got that one.

Great guide to help me! Also, it is probably easiest to do it on Dantes because the map is small and they like to bunch up. Use shields and it's a breeze.

Thanks for the great comments guys. I wrote this thread quite a while back because I didn't know that the online calculator even existed. I tried going onto the calculator today and found that it wasn't there anymore. Raging cause the calculator was awesome but I guess my thread has now become a bit more useful now that the calculator's not there anymore. lol. Cheers again guys

I threw this together in excel real quick. It sums up what weesplash made but but is a little more compact. It shows how many T-hunts are required for each rank, between each rank and between every bar. It goes pretty well until you hit Captain and Major...then it just turns you into a T-Hunt ZOMBIE.

Some of the numbers will be off by 1 match because I rounded up.
