No backtracking...

http://kotaku.com/5447213/bioshock-2...ng-prohibition

According to this link, due to technical limitations, there won't be backtracking. I am sure this is going to make for many missable achievements. I suppose it will just require one more additional playthrough, JUST for the 100 audio diaries.....

Nice article.
Well, more then 1 playthrough for all achievements would be necessary anyway if you really want to enjoy the story the first time you're playing.
Atlest that's how I play.

The thing about little sisters following you in later levels is kinda weird but may well work.

Get through a Gather with no damage and no one getting to the Little Sister.

This one seems like it is going to be a pain.

Good grief - 210 points devoted solely to MP with one being worth more than beating the game on the hardest difficulty. Stupid.

I hate that they brought back the research. Finding enemies just to take their picture got really old, really fast.

Well I was disappointed at first to hear that multiplayer was being included. I love online play, just felt like Bioshock 1 was a wonderful game w/out it and hoped it wouldn't detract from the single player experience. But it's good to hear about the COD progression system for the MP. I was REALLY not looking forward to days upon days upon weeks of grinding out MP.....that way I can have more time for the single player.

Actually the MP is quite entertaining, it has it own "story" with it kinda. You will see when you get it. It is FUN though, Im glad they just didn't through MP in the game, they actually spent time on it.

Actually they made it much more fun - you have a movie camera this time. You start shooting (well, not literally , and only then you start shooting and plasmiding - the more creative you get, the more points you advance in research with some pretty neat rewards at level 4 (maximum) - usually a useful tonic. Anyways, it's way more fun to do research this time.

Can anyone confirm how to get the achievement that involves saving the certain little sisters (the one with the specific names)? I think it's a secret achievement and I just completed the campaign, saving every little sister possible and that other achievement didn't unlock. The guide doesn't state it that well.

Hard?

It says in the instructions that to get all the achievements you have to play the game in Hard difficulty??? Which ones can't you get in medium??? Curious because they all seem achieveable in medium expect for the obvious "complete the game on hard"

Kind of confused

In Ryan's Amusement park or whatever that level is, there's a part where ryan is at a desk (same place for 9-irony achievement), but you go down the stairs and take a left, straight ahead is a door that won't open and it has a tonic inside. Has anyone figured out how to get in there? I've tried electric bolt, hack darts etc..

Also, I left that area and went ahead ..can we go back to previous areas later on like in the first?

Is there anyway to check what audio diaries you have in-game? I hate having to guess if I have one because I can't really remember when I watch the videos of the diaries online.

Hit the back button, then hit the Left bumper twice. You'll see the list of radio messages/diaries you've found grouped by area.

Dose all the maps come out in one MP player mode? Sorry for my bad english.

For example I only play - Civil War and Capture the Little Sister - dose all the maps come in these modes?

Im asking this for the

Or do I need to play the other modes two for some map to come up?

In other words Can I get the achievement by only playing that 2 modes?

Thank you.

it should come up, although some maps may be harder to play on because people will veto them. eventually, you should play on all the maps.

Can someone who has already beaten the game copy into this thread the NON-story related secret achievements please.
Im not going to look at them on the site because I dont want to ruin the story for myself but I would like to know the descriptions of the achievements so I can minimize playthroughs

Thank you
