Save-out's:
The so called "pro's" use these. Its when you run past a save statue, make enimies spawn, then run back and save before it disables. This makes enimies disappear. I don't use this on mentor, because i don't like being cheap. It may make the game easier, but when i get around to finishing it, i know i have done it right. Master Ninja's, or pro's, would show off their skills by killing all their enimies, not making them disappear. Still, this is useful, so go ahead.
Can anyone elaborate more on this? I tried finding more about it, but never found anything else than what is here.
Like Run past the Save statue & when enemies spawn, you run back & save & that will make them disappear?
Or am I missing something, seems too easy.

That's it, the catch is that you have to create some distance between you and your foes, otherwise the save statue won't glow, which means no save. TBH, standing up and fighting is probably a safer and easier way to go if you're playing on acolyte or warrior....

Hey, I just got my " feat of ultimate destruction " on my first run. ( on the "pre"final boss)

When you fight against those little bones scorpion it is easy to kill a lot of them with your UT. Same for those little ghost fish. I also got a lot of kill in the tunnels of chapter 9.

Don't forget that charged projectile count towards this achievement and I got mine while shooting arrows at those skeleton face, when you fight the last boss.

Hope this helped a little bit. Now trying my luck on mentor...

These guys are so stupid. They are huge dinosaur like creatures (robots, mind) with blades that act as wings. I havn't figured out all their attacks yet, but they take a huge amount of damage, their attacks are really strong, and they create a huge explosion when they die. I will update this when i study them a bit more.

If you are using the skythe then you can jump x,y,y,y, then evade when you land and repeat...best thing ive found out so far.

basically, it's rather easy when you 1v1 them. Side step when they perform their 3 hit combo and step in right after it. Usually there's enough time to pull off something fast and painful... two times like this and they self destroy, but that is easy to predict and can be blocked... you ARE holding your block while not comboing, right? ^^

Just out of curiosity, since I'm doing my first run on acolyte. At the part right before the fight with dagra dai, whats the point of the chest with blue orbs, if there's a save point right beside it?

Some of the chests are dynamic. Meaning that it's contents are completley random. Unfortunatley this also means that bats and ghost fish can spawn from chests too (although this rarely happens on the lower difficulties).

Or

If a chest contains an item that you are already maxed out on, the chest will give you essence instead.

I find that the easiest way to kill Elizabeta is with the Falcon's Talons. What you do is repeatedly do a FS on her. Jump forward, press Y, and rinse and repeat. Sometimes she might go a little farther so just do a dash and then do a FS. If you do it properly, she won't even be able to hit you.

Well you know the greater fiends can be stun locked. As in you force them into stun, in this case Elizebet, with the falcon's talons divine swallow, and as soon as they are stunned, bust out the flails, and XXY repeatedly. You have to keep rhythm or the boss will get back up and probably pwn you. BTW I learned stunlock on my MN run, and it works on that difficulty sooooo ya..

Here is a strategy i used for the very last boss:
He's on the cliff. Jump over there with any weapon (preferable one that does a full combo when you do the UT) and immediately hold down Y. Yes i know he wants to grab you and make you his B**** But you simply let go of the Y as soon as he swipes at you, and it'll whiff, causing a lil damage to him as well. SO, when he whiffs, immediately hold down Y again, and try to stall as long as possible so you can do this with a lvl2 UT, but if not its okay, atleast youre not being pancaked against the wall by a large demon. I beat the last boss on warrior without getting hit ONCE using this method, I plan to record it and post it on youtube so that people can worship me =D

Volf can be killed much more easily by loading a 360 UT Lunar Staff when far from him, he can either rush at you (when he's close release the charge and you'll hit hard while being invulnerable) or spam a ground attack from far; if he does, release anyways to be protected. In both cases then run away from him, load again and he'll be dead with no effort or damage dealt to you. And he really tends to rush more than attacking from far.
