Has anyone else done this?

Here's the story:

*NOTE* You need to have GameFly to be able to do this.

Has anyone else ever waited for their mailman to arrive at their house, knowing that Avatar: The Last Airbender was going to be arriving that day from GameFly? When your mailman arrived, did you personally take the mail from him and go, 'Can you stay here for about 3 minutes?' then go back inside, get the 5 achievements and give the game back to the mailman?

I find that pretty friggin' hilarious.

I didn't do the mailman thing, but I got dropped off at home by a friend, got the game out of the mailbox, took it inside and got all 1000 points, and when I called my friend to tell him how quick it was he was still driving home even though he lives right down the street.

Don't have a mailman. I have to go to the post office to get the mail, so no I've not done that. Although I did just rent avatar from Gamefly.

Lovefilm is good for game rentals.

Please keep this on-topic though.

lol, haven't done that but I did do something sort of like that. I have A 1979 Volkswagen Camper Bus as my car it has plugs and my xbox and tv happened to be in there so I went to blockbuster and rented the game for $3 went to my car, put it in got 1000 went back in blockbuster and got a new game. It was funny as hell, the guy behind the register just looked at me with the weirdest face similar to this:

Sounds like fun! I couldn't do that with my mailman, he's like a ninja. The mail just appears and hardly anyone saw his mail truck drive by.

My buddy rented the game, got his thousand then called me and asked "if I wanted to see something funny"..... i was like "what?" ... he said "i'll be right over".

When he arrived he dashboarded my game and put avatar in without me seeing it as i went to get us some brews. he paused the game after the first set of guys and when i came back in he unpaused ..... started firing and unlocked all 5 in seconds....... i was laughing hard, it wasn't till the next day i noticed he did that on my profile >.<

well, continued...he went around and got about 8 more people those achieves before returning the game the same day

I never liked the game, so I let my brother play it, 30mins later, he got all the achievements, he still wanted to play so, it took him another half hour to beat the game :P

I actually got mine from Blockbuster. But it was basically the same thing since I live right down the street. I even told them it didn't work when I returned it so I could get another game, but shhhh don't tell anyone.

Instead of being a jerk(i bet when you said "hey wait 5 min" to the mailmain he was very angry, they're purrttyy busy..) If your mail comes early enough you can just get it, get the 1k, then go to the post office in time for the next truck to travel towards your GF location.

Haha. I would rent this game, but too lazy. I would rather someone who have the game to do it for me. Like recovering my gamertag and getting me the quick fives.

I just rented this game from Tesco's Rental service.

Got the game in the morning, put it straight in the Xbox, got my 5 achievements worth 1000g, then walked straight up the high street after to mail it back to them. Had the game literally 10minutes maybe

Is the game any fun at all? My girlfriend made me watch the show and it wasn't that bad... if I rent this game, even though I'm going to get the score easy... I feel it would be a waste to not just beat the game anyways...

If you want to play it, don't buy it on the marketplace. That's ridiculous to pay $20 for a game that takes 3 minutes to 1000.

I haven't told him to wait, but I drove up next to him a few blocks down and gave him avatar.
