Alan Wake Achievements

Fast and Furious

Special 1: Make it through the final battle in less than 1 minute and 30 seconds.

Fighting the TVs, the best thing to kill them faster is the flaregun and the flares. While still in the apartment, use the flare to make the TV fly through the wall. Jump down and immediately fire your flaregun to the TVs. Reload, and fire once more to defeat the TVs. Continue on outside, until you see the boat crash onto the dock. Immediately pull out a flare and drop it. Use the flaregun to take its shadow down until its no more. When the boat disappears, the achievement will unlock.

Easy way of doing this is to save the Flare gun until the end.
Also save a couple of normal flares as well. The timer starts when the
televisions come alive. Use the normal flares first off until the TVs
go outside, then use the flare gun inside the warehouse. Be careful not
to get hit by anything because this will slow you down. When you can go
outside and there is a giant boat sitting there, use any extra flares
you have to kill it quickly. The achievement should unlock after that part.

Like I had flare gun in theend... and only 2 flares left :-) I don't got chance to do it. It's not so easy as it sounds!

It IS easy. You just have to save some flare gun ammo. 4 should be enough. Save some flares wouldn't hurt, too.

I only had 2 flare gun bullets and 2 flares. It was easy. How do I get my gamertag linked to this site?

Doh! I knew I should have saved my flare gun. I'll get it the second go around. :-)

I counted about 6 flare gun flares in this episode and about 13 flares. The final boss needed about 3 flares and 3 flare gun shots. The guide @ #1 just about sums up what to do but if you are low on flares or ran out altogether you can also use flashbangs on the final bit. I counted only 2 of these in this episode, though, so if you can spare them, use them here.

I ignored any damage i took during this segment because u get the achievement even if you die in the warehouse or on the dock and have to restart at a checkpoint. I counted two checkpoints during this part, died after both of them, and still got achievement after reloading both chkpnts. definitely helps knowing this so you dont restart the entire episode. I just hope I can use this trick on the second DLC for the 60 second "whirlwind" achievement.
