This is easily one of the most frustrating things I've ever had to accomplish in a video game. There are no save points or autosaves in between entering new areas, so you are forced to redo entire levels upon messing something up. I wish the controls weren't so wonky. =

how come i can save my game whenever i want to, an it seems to autosave aswell. i dont have to redo anything if i die or quit, unless they changed this with an update after you played. but i can save the original alice game in the menu at any point during the game.

Echoing those before me, far too long between checkpoints. You can spend 30 minutes of level and a wonky control can cost you all of that. Very annoying. I can only play about 2 or 3 chapters at a time because it's such a draining game.

This is impossible to achieve! It's starting to piss me of now :(
I'm stuck at the part where you have to ride on the leaf, but you fall off the leaf, then some fish attack you. There is an issue with jumping in this as well, which is annoying. All I want to do is get the remaning achievements, then trade-in this game.. 0.0

@4 I can also save wherever I want to. I don't understand what everyone is complaining about.

It took me a while to find it but yes, you can in fact save WHENEVER YOU WANT in this game, making it far easier than it first appears.

You have to pause and go to 'Load Save,' then it'll give you the option to save as well. They should have signposted it better but once you know you can do it, the game becomes impossible to fail at because you can even pause during boss fights.

Feeling relieved now that I've seen that I'm not the only one getting giga frustrated because of this level! Man! How annoying!!.... And now I see that I could have saved whenever I wanted... That's it... I'm gonna sleep!

As stated above, you can manually save at any point. Highly recommended to ensure progress is saved. Nothing worse than playing long segments with no auto save point, only to die because of the control scheme. Also, difficultly setting doesn't matter, recommend completing on easy for the achievements. If you want a challenge, go ahead on the highest difficulty, but make sure you are patient, as the controls will frustrate as much as the upped AI aggression.
