Army of Two: The 40th Day

Army of Two: The 40th Day Achievements

Full Arsenal

You need to collect All Weapons and Weapon Parts

There are 15 weapons parts and 2 more inside of supply crates.

In order to get this achievement you will need to...

  • Play through entire campaign making only positive choices
  • Play through entire campaign making only negative choices
  • Save all the hostages
  • Find all the weapons parts
  • Buy all the weapons
  • Buy all weapon attachments (minus the styles)

Note: There are 2 guns that will only unlock if you have an original Army of Two game save, you do NOT need to have these guns for the achievement. The 2 guns are the AS-KRI and the S8-Z "Grand Pinger".

Note on chapter 1 video
I forgot the 1st supply crate that holds a weapon part (G14 Thunderstrike). Until I can redo the video, its location is in chapter 1, after your first decision and after you kill 3 enemies.

Chapter 1 - Collectibles Video

Note on chapter 2 video
Reducer & enhancer names are switched around in the video.

Note on chapter 4 video
On your positive moral playthrough make sure to grab the G18C pistol. This can be found on the hospital level when the Doc opens a door to a weapons rooms but this only happens if you have made positive moral choices up to this point.

One of the worse achievements ever made! So long winded & time consuming you need multiple playthrus to get this unless you plan from the start but even then its 3-4 playthrus to get enough credits & all weapon parts!

Most of the weapon parts can be found in different locations, often hidden so you really have to search for them. But some of the parts are given to you after saving civilians or when you make the "right" morality choice (often the evil one but there is one exception).

This site below describes the locations for weapon parts, civilians, radios and neko cats. It also includes info about rewards and consequences for all the morality choices. Happy hunting!

Not as bad as I thought it was. There are various gun types (Assult rifles, Sniper rifles, Handguns, Shotguns) that you have to buy a specific part for but for the most part, if you buy it for one gun then it unlocks for most if not all the other ones. The only thing you have to constantly buy is the Pimp style for each gun and that costs 10,000 a pop.

Be sure to go through each weapon and buy all the parts. Keep it modded until you have bought them all and then remove all moves (reset to default) to show that you have it all.

As save up a few million (a little over 2) because it does take quite a bit of money to buy the parts. Also, Be sure to reach a checkpoint after buying the parts because if you don't save, It will not register the buys. Trust me I learned that the hard way.

I'm up to Chapter 4 at the moment and I just realised I missed ONE part in Chapter 3 (up the ladder, opposite to where you rescue the zoo keeper). Son of a bitch! So I have to what? Replay an entire chapter for one part? Sorry that I got caught up in the fun and action of the level and forgot to get that dumb piece!

Well I finished the game and went back to Chapter 3 and got it but didn't get the achievement, then realised I of course have to play through the game again and do all the negative choices to unlock the final weapon(s) and buy all the customisation parts.

Finished the game on Contractor mode and unlocked the Hardcore achievement then went and played the first mission again just to unlock enough money still to buy the last few stocks and other items. Finally this then unlocked near the end of the first mission/chapter. Phew! Lucky also we don't have to buy the two guns from the first game, otherwise it would take even longer raking up the other $700,000+ I'd need to buy those two guns.
