Assassin's Creed III

Assassin's Creed III Achievements

Man of the People

Liberate all districts in Boston OR New York.

Keep playing the liberation missions on your map. There are 3 general "districts" in both cities that you must complete. Check your Liberation Missions map above your normal map to see each divided district. See your logbook if you want to know what kind of missions need to be done. Your best bet is to do all of the viewpoints (the bird icon). The missions only appear if you have been near them or have the viewpoint unlocked. After completing them, you then have to talk to your "contact" to complete one main mission usually involving assassinating someone.

any idea on how to liberate the districts? I've liberated the forts, but unlike the borgia towers these don't dictate the district.

@1 I got this after liberating both forts in Boston and doing a bunch of liberation missions around Boston, if that helps you.

You just have too run around where the viewpoints haven't cleared until you've found all the liberation missions. The forts lower the taxes on your convoys but don't contribute to the liberation missions. In Northern Boston, the one that I couldn't find was in the Northeast, over by the docks. Also some missions don't show up as liberation missions, but will show up as small restricted areas, where you have to free people from the stockades.

So in Boston I liberated both Southern and Central, but was stuck on the Northern section, with no liberation missions showing. I finally found the one I was looking for in the NW corner, it was a thug intimidating one of the vendors.

There was also a video posted on Youtube where someone found the one the one they were missing in the NE corner, also with the thug intimidating the vendors.

Hopefully this helps somebody!

@12 for some reason they don't show on the map, but there is also the distract vendors for the kids that I found by just running around.

after getting 3/3 on all the missions, remember to go to your contact for the final liberation mission.

Kind of a hassle now that you can't buy a map and have everything shown to you. They really want you to put forth an effort this time.

My last one was North district, you need to walk where you still don't go to find a mission.

It took me ages to figure out that there were random liberation missions in the fogged out areas.
