Assassin's Creed III

Assassin's Creed III Achievements

Complete each of the epilogue missions unlocked after the credits roll.

Once you have finished all sequences and the credits roll, you will be back in the game. There are now new "main missions" that appear which are the epilogue missions. After completing them, you will gain the achievement and will be able to continue on finishing whatever is left for your DNA tracker. All it really is is traveling to the main missions points, no actual objectives are involved.

@5 I wouldn't see the reason why you can't continue playing after the credits, they did it with Revelations (continue playing free roam after the credits).

This should have been set as a secret achievement, I would have liked to find out that there were epilogue missions by myself...

I agree, this is kind of spoilerish :( I think we can safely assume Connor doesn't die in the main part of the game

I agree that this is DEFIENTLY too much of a spoiler achievement. Though they have done it in games before, telling you of continuation after the story, but the main character dies, #10 provided the excellent example of Red-dead. But I do think it is pretty safe to assume to follow a pattern there will be 7 of these, and Connor will not die.

I agree, should have been a secret.

But Conner cannot die as you would not be able to continue unless he has a son during the course of the game.
Remember in AC2 when you play as Altair for one small mission and you chase a person who ended up turning out to be Maria(the templar who impersonated de Sable in AC1 who you didnt kill), which you pass the DNA to her which is why you couldnt continue afterwards as Altair. Once a male passed the DNA to a female, desmond cannot relive those memories as he can only relive male memories. Yes, I know you play as Altair in revelations, but that is only thru the Masyaf keys which he stored key memories in.

So Maria had 2 sons, one(Sef) was murder by Abbas, the other(Darim) left for Alexandria, he took Altair's Library there. Which ended up goin

to Ezio then to Conner. There isnt a family tree by ubisoft so there is considerable gaps in Desmonds family tree

This is why this game will kick ass, once you finish the main story, you can go back off more!

I don't see this as a spoiler. The ability to go back and free roam is in a lot of games (every AC game prior to this). This doesn't reveal that Connor lives or dies. Either way, did you really expect him to die in this game?

@14 Altair and Ezio aren't technically related. One is the ancestor of Desmond's mom and the other his dad. It hasn't been revealed (to my knowledge) which ancestor Connor is related to. Is a family tree really necessary beyond this knowledge?

Can somebody please define to me what a mission is, because going to places on the map, pressing B, and watching a two second cutscene does NOT count as one to me.

After the sit through the credits (about 10-15 minutes) you will gain control of Connor again. You will see the mission icon pop up on your map. Here you must travel to three locations (Boston, New York and Connor's home village in the Frontier).

Easy achievement to obtain, as the missions are not really missions, they are just short interactive dialog between Connor and some other people he has ran into throughout his travels. If you are using the Fast Travel option, this should take less then 15 minutes to get.

Despite all of the weird, and unfounded, anger at this achievement being a ”spoiler,” did anyone think about the multiple dlc's scheduled for release? What were you gonna do in those if Connor dies? Play as the blacksmith? Spend your time in dlc hitting on the newly-single tailor and adopt her daughter if it works out?

20+ minute credits and only a couple missions that take about a minute. Basically an achievement simply for waiting.

So far 15minutes waiting for the credits to end. WOW Fuck you Ubisoft. I seriously cannot wait to finish these epi. missions and just be done w/the game. It's caused me nothing but frustration, irritation, and aggravation. Trading it in for a better game

man!! this thread is full of cry babies!! there were so many people that worked hard to make this, and every other assassin's creed games possible. put yourself in their shoes. wouldn't you want to be recognized for your work or contribution? i'm pretty sure that you can find something constructive to do for the 10 or 15 minutes while the credits roll. quit being spoiled little brats and just deal with it!!

This achievement raps up the rest of events after the war. There will be some locations on the map. There is also a man at the original home of Conner to talk to. You can also talk to Washington and play a game with him.

Does nobody notice that Connor is bleeding from that wound he received 6 f'ing months ago in the New York scene at the harbor after the credits?

Was it just my imagination, or my game? Cause that was just f'ing stupid. Threw up all kinds of questions in my mind. Shoddy animation? Stitches reopened after 6 months for no reason? He just get mugged?

Also, I dislike how he's moving all slowly and with a sort of a limp in the cut-scenes after the credits, then when your controlling him, he's just fine.

Don't tell me they couldn't animate him running a little funny from his wound, cause they can. Revelations proved that with Ezio being old and sluggish.

Call me picky, but I just detest inconsistency in my games. If he's wounded, he's wounded. Don't flop around the issue for convenien

@30 It's people like you that ruin this world. Why don't you just spit in the developers face? They spent how long making this title so that you could just bitch about seeing who made it? Go take a leap of faith and miss, asshole. It's not that hard to do something else while the credits roll if you insist on not watching them.
