Introduction
If you have played any of the previous games you will be familiar with what's going on for the most part. If you have played Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, then you are in luck. Not much has changed. Even better is that the achievements are easier, specifically in multiplayer. You won't even have to boost anything. Like usual, there is no difficulty in this game. But it's very easy. If you die you restart at a checkpoint of sorts. You will now have bombs at your disposal making the game even that much easier. The collectibles have been changed up. No longer must you collect feathers, but instead data fragments. They literally just take the place of the feathers but work the same way. Collecting 50 nets you the map for free for the rest of them, making collectibles in this game need no guide! Once you beat the game, you are able to free roam the city and play any memories from DNA that you wish. Nothing can be missed.

Step 1: Playthrough Until Sequence 4 Memory 3
What you need to do is buy every shop you can while you move along through the memories. This will help build your money up. The more you buy right away the more money you will have later. Time is literally money here, as the more shops you own the more money that goes in your bank every 20 minutes of game time. Also take over all dens and recruit as many assassins as you can, sending them on missions to gain experience.

By the time you get to the listed memory, most of the districts should be unlocked. You can spend your time finishing up the Assassin Missions (to gain them to Master Assassins) and doing other misc achievements. Remember to use Eagle Sense while you do missions so that the Data Fragments appear.

Step 2: Complete Rest of Game
By this step you should have obtained many more achievements. You likely spent hours and hours building up your assassins and trying to do other achievements. You should also have a huge supply of money which you should save for buying books later. Once you hit Sequence 5-3 you will want to snag all of the Memoir Pages because by then you should have been able to buy the map if you were collecting Fragments (needed 25). Also you can do the Desmond missions on the island by selecting it in the start menu. During Sequence 7 you'll be able to go to yet one last place to finish everything you couldn't do in previous sequences. You can of course do everything after you beat the storyline, as you will be able to free roam and do any other missions you want again in the DNA menu.

Step 3: Mop Up
This should be your favorite step. It means you are completing the last few things you didn't complete yet. Most likely this will be in the form of collectibles or buying the rest of the over priced books. If there's any other misc achievements you need, you will be doing them here. Also you can replay any memory to get 100% sync on it if you haven't been getting them anyways.

Step 4: Multiplayer
This is an extremely easy 200 points. You could have done this right away if you wanted to, before playing the campaign. Get to level 20 while playing each game mode at least once. That's basically all you need to do, because the other achievements should come along the way. If for some reason they don't refer to the guide for more details. Escort is the easiest to get points. You'll also want to work on the achievements for the 2 mulitplayer DLC (Mediterranean and Ancestors) for the added 240. Boosting parties will go a long way in speeding these up.

Step 5: Lost Archive DLC
There are 7 new memory sequences. You'll get 5 story related achievements on your way through the levels. You should also go for the "Save Yourself" achievement, which is very easy to get. You may even get it by normally playing, as there are many possibilities to fall down really far.
Be on the lookout for the decipher fragments in every memory. It's possible to collect all 20 fragments on our first playthrough.

Search for the remaining decipher fragments if you haven't found all of them before. You can select every memory through your DNA-menu. Go to memory 5 when you've collected all fragments for "Breaking to Loop". The last 2 achievements will probably be "Impress Warren Vidic" and "Cross Styx without Dying", as you will probably fall down some times on your first playthrough. Just memorise the levels and be cautious.

Conclusion
This set of achievements were easily obtainable. They could have been so much worse. You could have been required to prestige a few times (or 99 max level). You could have been made to get 100% sync in the entire game. You could have been required to do a lot worse, but you weren't. You were able to play a very enjoyable game and get pretty easy achievements along the way.

Mastering the Art30
Earn the INCOGNITO bonus (Multiplayer). (60)

This should be the first multiplayer achievement you earn. When you are doing the tutorial after selecting your persona for the first time, the game will give you a couple of targets. Look for your target and follow them. Stay close and only walk. You will notice 4 blue bars around your targets portrait. Once it is filled, hit to kill the target and get the bonus. This can be done in any match besides the tutorial.

Tools of the Templar10
Purchase your first ABILITY in the Abstergo Store (Multiplayer). (8)

You must be level 5 in order to gain this achievement. Press in multiplayer menu to get to Data Hub. Go to "Abilities Sets". Select Abilities Set 1 and purchase it for 5 points. You must now purchase one of the two available abilities for 35 points. That is all you have to do, you do not have to use the ability or even save the set you created.

Achiever10
Complete a Challenge (Multiplayer). (4)

Go into the Data Hub via . Go to "Templar Profile" and "Challenges". There is a list of a bunch of challenges within certain categories. If you notice, there are 3 stars in each. All you must do is get 1 star in anything. This should come along naturally as you play through to get your level 20 or by doing other multiplayer achievements.

You do not actually have to complete a full challenge (which is gaining all 3 gold stars on it). Therefore, you can ignore that it says 0 challenges complete. You will still get the achievement as long as one of the gold stars is filled. A really easy challenge to complete is by taunting a target after you killed them. You only need to do this to 3 people to unlock the first gold star. After assassinating your target, press quickly while facing their dead body. If you do not do it fast enough it will not register.

True Templar20
Reach level 20 (Multiplayer). (67)

Level 20 is not the highest. Level 50 is the highest, and from 50 you can prestige and start all over again with special titles, emblems, portraits, and things to customize. There are 99 prestige levels. You are only asked to get to level 20, not even half of the highest level in the first prestige. It will take 136,500 points of experience to hit this level. If you average about 2000 a game or so, that's roughly 70 games. If you want to speed things up, attempt to play escort missions. Your average score may jump from 3000-4000 if you have an okay team. Also sometimes you will have unfair advantages like 4 vs 2 that will speed the process up.

Looking Good10
Customize a PERSONA (Multiplayer). (10)

The first thing you can personalize will be unlocked at level 10. You cannot get obtain this achievement until that level.

To do any editing, be in the multiplayer menu. You must complete the introductory session. After that, you will have access. Make sure you have pressed to access the Data Hub. Go to "Characters" and pick one that does not say "Not Customizable". You might have one based on your previous Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood experience. Remember, you should at least be a level 10. Go to main weapon and pick the one that is unlocked.

There Is No I in Team20
Win a session of a team mode (Multiplayer). (8)

Go into Custom Match and make sure you pick Team Objectives first. Now choose any of the below. It's nice because even if you are terrible at the game, you can still win via other good players on your team. Pick any of the below modes and try to win.

Team Objectives

  • Manhunt
  • Artifact Assault
  • Chest Capture
  • Escort
Make the Headlines30
Obtain 12 different Accolades (Multiplayer). (35)

Accolades are common in many multiplayer games, though usually called something else. It's usually a specific action you do, more than anyone else in the match. There are 4 different sets of them. You only need to gain 13 different ones throughout your multiplayer career. You do not have to get 13 in one match! There are a total of 44 different ones you can get. Because there are so many, the list the ones that are easiest to obtain, and can be obtained at any level.

I have been able to unlock 10 in one single match. If you keep playing and gaining new perks/abilities, you will eventually start getting more.

Note: Before unlocking the achievement, it quotes as saying 12 must be completed. After obtaining the achievement, it then says 13.

Assassination

The Professional: Had the best kills/deaths ratio

You may get this naturally going for level 20.

The Savage: Had the most contested kills

To get a contested kill, hit on someone trying to kill you. They will get lower points.

The Sacrificial Lamb: The first to die

Easy enough, you will get this naturally!

The Survivor: Died the least

Hide, run, do whatever it takes to have least amount of deaths. Easiest if you join a game that's almost over.

The Target: Died the most

You should get this naturally, being bad at the game or having a bad "day" in multiplayer. If you are a extremely good at this game then you will have to try for it.

The Slayer: Had the most kills

You should get this naturally as you get used to the game. It might be difficult for some people.

The Untouchable: Was never killed

This is easily obtained when joining a match that is about to end. Otherwise, team games are easy to avoid people in. Especially objective based ones because people have other things on their minds. You can go hide in a haystack and wait the timer out.

Abilities

The Victim: Spent the most time affected by ABILITIES

There are many people that love to use abilities in this game. If you join into games where people use them often, you should get this naturally.

The Improviser: Used the greatest variety of ABILITIES

There are other games where people don't use abilities much at all. Use the abilities with and . You can change your set of abilities when you die by pressing Pick the other set, and do the same. Most people only use one set of abilities so you should not have to wait long to get this.

Style

The Immortal: Stayed alive the longest

This won't happen every game, but if you can avoid confrontation then you might be able to snag this. It's best in team games or games where there are only minimum amounts of players. Do this on team based games that have to do with objectives (like VIP).

The Wanderer: Spent the most time walking

If you leave your controller doing nothing, your character will walk on it's own. You can also walk around yourself, just never run.

The Vicious: Had the most GROUND FINISHES

This is really easy if someone else gets your target, you can go press on them while on the ground. This will randomly happen and you get a free 50 points out of it (if someone took your kill).

The Gargoyle: Spent the most time on rooftops

Very easy, just climb on the roofs and wait.

The Achiever: Finished first, second, or third

The best modes for this are corruption and artifact. You gain points just by walking around most of the time. If you get in a game with the lowest amount of people, it will be easier.

The Drunkard: Was STUNNED most often

This is one of those bad luck based deals. But you can also do it on purpose. Be very obvious when confronting a target and don't kill them. They will slap you or punch you and you will be stunned.

Modes

The Savior: REVIVED the most ALLIES

When playing team based modes, if your allies get stunned you can press to revive them. Most people don't do it, so you should only need a few.

The Dependable: Winning team

Be on the winning team. That's a 50/50 chance.

The Elusive: Was acquired the least

This is in the Assassinate Mode. It's actually a very difficult mode because you have no target you must acquire them. To do that, you must press and hold it down on random people until you get one that is a real person and not an AI. Just avoid people and look casual. Try to get yourself in a corner where the AI has a group talking.

The Wise: Killed the least Civilians

To be safe, you can avoid killing anyone and hopefully everyone else has killed a civilian.

The Saint: Survived longest as UNCORRUPTED

This is in the Corruption Mode. It's best to lay a trap in front of a haystack with your default ability that puts a smoke grenade on the ground. If they go to the haystack, it will explode and you can stun them and run off.

The Way I Like It20
Edit your TEMPLAR PROFILE to change your title, emblem, and patron (Multiplayer). (6)

To do any editing, be in the multiplayer menu. You must complete the introductory session. After that, you will have access. Make sure you have pressed to access the Data Hub. Navigating the menu is not as easy as it once was, and is almost confusing. Go to Templar Profile and Edit Templar Profile. Go to Edit Title and to Progression. Now you will be able to select The Recruit and gain the achievement.

You can do this at any point and will have many more options later on. The description is for anyone wanting to get it done right away.

Explorer20
Finish a session of each game mode (Multiplayer). (112)

There are many game modes to choose from. You can pick what game mode to look for in the Custom Match section. Take in mind you must also have completed Introductory Sessions 1 and 2. Other than those, there are 10 different game modes you must play. It counts if you join in the middle of a game, you just can't quit out. You must be scored at the end.

Choose one of the following:

Simulation Category and Modes

Free for All

  • Wanted
  • Deathmatch
  • Assassinate
  • Steal the Artifact
  • Corruption

Team Objectives

  • Manhunt
  • Artifact Assault
  • Chest Capture
  • Escort

There is an in-game way to tell what you have played. Hit while in multiplayer menus and choose Game Modes. Press on each mode and you will see if you are ranked. If you aren't on the list, then you must complete it.

Tactician30
Score at least 2500 points in a session (Multiplayer). (24)

This is in an entire session, not just one kill. This is actually very easy to obtain, especially at higher levels and if you are familiar with the previous Assassin's Creed Brotherhood multiplayer. This can be obtained at level 1 if you wanted. An easy mode to get this in is Steal the Artifact. You can gain a lot of points by obtaining the artifact and hiding with it in a haystack. You will see people (such as first place in the match) gain upwards of 5000+ points. Even if almost last place you can pull off the 2505.

Note: Before unlocking the achievement, it quotes as saying 2500 points. After obtaining the achievement, it then says 2505 points. You must get 2505 for the achievement, not 2500.

Complete Desmond Sequence 5. (25)

These sequences are earned by collecting the data fragments. Every 5 you collect will unlock a new sequence up until 4, then you must collect 10 more to get Sequence 5.

  • 5 unlocks Sequence 1
  • 10 unlocks Sequence 2
  • 15 unlocks Sequence 3
  • 20 unlocks Sequence 4
  • 25 unlocks Memoir Pages treasure map, available at any bookstore
  • 30 unlocks Sequence 5
  • 50 unlocks all remaining Data Fragments to show up on the map

After you have unlocked them, you access them by pressing and selecting "Return to Animus Island". Turn around when you enter the island and you'll see 5 pillars. These are the sequences. Enter them and complete them to get the associated achievements. They are fairly straight forward and in a "first person" viewpoint. All you can do is jump at first, but then eventually can place shapes to walk on. You cannot die. If you fall you just respawn.

You can do them at any time, but you might as well just do all 5 in order from left to right to save on loading back and forth to and from the island.

Revelations50
Complete DNA Sequence 9. (19)

To complete a DNA sequence, you must complete all memories within the sequence. You can think of the Sequences as Acts and the Memories as Chapters. These are all story related and you will get them as you complete the game. You do want to worry about a different achievement called Fond Memories. This is for completing all sequences at 100% synchronization. See that achievement for more details.
Each sequence has a percentage you must fill. This achievement requires you to obtain 100% on every sequence. Each memory counts for the percentage. Some memories are simple and do not have any extra objective that can be missed. There are certain memories that will require you to do something special (an extra objective). This can vary on what is it, and when you start a memory it is detailed for you.

You can replay memories by pressing and going to DNA. As you highlight the various sequences, they will tell you what is at 100%. If you go into those sequences, you will see the memories and what objectives you need to complete. If you have trouble in any of them, you can play them later when you have more gear and skills. You can try to do them right away or you can do them later, it doesn't matter.

Follow the guide below if you need any tips or prefer to follow the list as you go along.

Fond Memories20
Achieve 100% Synchronization in all Sequences. (80)

Some memories are simple and do not have any extra objective that can be missed. There are certain memories that will require you to do something special (an extra objective). Holy Wisdom20
Complete the Hagia Sofia challenge level. (13)

This mission is available once you have obtained all of the memoirs. See Worth a Thousand Words. It will be its own icon on the map and be located, of course, at Hagia Sofia.

Capped20
Collect all animus data fragments. (65)

There are a total of 100 animus data fragments spread throughout the world. Once you obtain 50 of them, the last 50 will all appear on the map. Pressing while you run around makes it easy to spot them, and it will put them on your map if you see them while in this mode. Once you go out of eagle vision that is when they will show up on the map (not during). They are easy to get to, because once on your map if you put them as your target marker, a beam of light will show on them. The below maps will only show you 50 of them (the 50 I did not get). You can use this as an extra resource if you get stuck, but really, you should have no problems doing this by yourself.

Note: You can only get the last map with the collectibles after starting Sequence 7, therefore it is not possible to gain the achievement beforehand. You can replay this memory later to access them easier, or there is a no ferry for you.

Worth A Thousand Words20
Collect all of Ishak Pasha's memoir pages. (15)

These pages are scattered around and there are only 10 of them. Once you get 25 Data Fragments, you can purchase a treasure map that shows these from any book store. This makes the achievement extremely easy. See Capped for more details on the fragments you will be collecting. Also, this achievement relates directly to the Holy Wisdom achievement. You must collect all of these to unlock the mission. You should have no problem collecting these pages.

Note: There is one page in a district you cannot get into until during/after Sequence 5 Memory 3.

Pyromaniac20
Complete all Bomb Missions. (39)

These bomb missions are actually more like tutorials. They are given at Piri Reis near the Grand Bazaar in the Imperial District. The icon is black with a white bomb and beakers. It shows up after you progress through the story and learn about bombs. Inside you must go to the wall near his desk. You will see 4 paintings. Each one has 2 missions total, and you must complete one to get the other. They stop shining after you have done both. They are extremely easy missions and short. You will have to run back to the shop after doing them, you are not automatically put back inside.

Armchair General20
Control all cities (except Rhodes) simultaneously in the Mediterranian Defense game. (31)

The way you rank up your assassins is through gaining experience mostly through something called Mediterranean Defense. Any assassin den or the assassin boards next to the bomb crafting tables in the cities have the access point for managing assassins. It is also in the Assassin HQ. There are 13 different city names, each with various tasks. This will be explained in more detail in The Mentor achievement description. The main task you will need to complete in each is "Reclaim The City". This means it is under Templar control and you must send assassins to take it over. Pick the assassins that give a high probability and send them. It takes 10 minutes for them to complete the mission. You can get this achievement done as you level them up at your leisure, but keep in mind you gain more money by having control of the cities.

Iron Curtain20
Perform a perfect den defense without using the cannon. (47)

The first time you experience a Den Defense is in Sequence 2 Memory 6. You are on the roofs and must place your units and barriers around to defend. You can use everything except for the cannon, which is used with . When the game tells you about it, just ignore it. Put barriers whenever you can. The last wave of enemy is a ram unit. The den must take no damage. You will unlock the achievement in the stats screen afterwards.

Here's a video for further help:

Spider Assassin20
Climb Hagia Sofia, from the ground to the pinnacle, in under 25 seconds. (38)

This is a very easy achievement. You'll find Hagia Sofia in the Imperial District (this is the very big building). It's very east on the map, and is positioned right next to a tunnel entrance. Attempt to climb to the point of the top in under 25 seconds. You should attempt this after gaining the hookblade to make it easier on you (the hookblade is story based).

Here's a video for further help:

A Friend Indeed20
Complete all Faction Creed Challenges from a single faction. (39)

There are 4 different factions. Assassin Guild, Mercenaries Guild, Romanies Guild, and Thieves Guild. The one you will want to focus on is Assassin Guild. This is because you have to do most of it anyways and they are the easiest of them all to complete. There are 3 sets of challenges only containing 7 total challenges to do. I suggest being active with these during Sequence 4, as you will be recruiting likely the full roster of assassins.

Call Assassination during a fight: When you are actively fighting enemies, just press Must have the red bar filled by one.

Call Assassins on a target: Press while not in a fight and assassins will come and kill a nearby enemy. Must have one red bar filled by one.

Use Arrow Storm: Must have all 3 red bars filled (meaning you need at least 5 assassins recruited or not active in missions). Hold down and a rain of arrows will kill enemies on screen.

Call your Assassins within a story mission: You should get this naturally, but during any story mission call them out to help you. You can replay DNA sequences, or just do them in the Master Assassin based missions.

Recruit Assassins: You will likely at one point get stuck on 11/12 recruits. You will recruit a few more and the number will not change. After you have taken over all dens, make sure there is no recruiting icon anywhere. There are 6 memory based recruits, 5 of them you do after taking over dens. The last one is unlocked after finishing Sequence 3 Memory 3.

Train recruits to the rank of Master Assassin: You need to train 7. There is an achievement related to this alone. See The Mentor achievement description for more information on how to rank them.

Successfully perform a Den Defense: You will learn how to take control of a Den in the storyline. As you take them over, some will be attacked if your awareness gets too high in those areas. You then must go contest and defend the area that is being attacked. Each time you rank an assassin to master, they will lock the den from this happening. Therefore, if you lock all dens you will need to replay Sequence 2 Memory 6 until you get the challenge unlocked. Some report it unlocks automatically after getting all Master Assassins. Some also report it doesn't always count and will have to be done a few extra times.

Tax Evasion10
Get your money back from a Templar tax collector. (88)

This enemy type appears at random (or so it seems) and will have a red icon above their heads. They will run from you at sight. Chase them down and press while running to tackle and kill them. It is suggested that they appear upon the happening of the bank deposit. If you rush to the bank when this happens and wait around, you may spot one easier.

The Mentor20
Have seven trainees reach the rank of Master Assassin. (43)

This task is a working task which involves a lot of time spent going back to it. Essentially you take over dens which give you the ability to recruit assassins. The more dens you take, the more recruits you get. You send those assassins out on missions and rank them to 10. Do this by going to any den or near the bomb icons on the map. You can access missions that you may send the assassins on to gain experience. Read the missions details and make sure you have a high percentage to complete the task. You may have to send a few assassins to complete 1 task. Just make sure the experience is worth it. If you stick to trying to level up a whole level each mission you will have an easier time. Once the assassins get to level 10, you do a special mission for them after assigning them to guard a den. This is an indicator on the map and not the same way you were ranking them up. After that mission they may be ranked to 15 which is Master Assassin, but you must do 1 final mission in order to get them to have a symbol instead of a number. You will eventually have all top ranks by the end of the game (the rest after 7 only hit level 10).

Lightning Strikes20
Kill 5 guards in 5 seconds using only your hidden blades. (80)

It is best to combine this with a Smoke Bomb. You must select your hidden blades and cannot use any other weapon. You have to do this extremely quickly. Killing 2 guards at once will be required. You must kill 2, kill another 2, then kill the last 1. Almost all guards travel in 4, so you must find an area with more or lead them with cherry bombs. Throw a smoke down and start assassinating.

You can try this in any heavily populated guard area or if you want fast access, just go to DNA Sequence 4 Memory 1 and get to the courtyard area that has tons of guards.

A good method instead of using Smoke Bombs is to use Poison Bombs. You can still get your kills before they die, plus you can see what is going on. Load the above sequence, get on the roof, and thrown down a cherry bomb. Now you can throw down poison and leap and assassinate, then assassinate the remaining. You will get de-synced but that is perfectly fine.

Here's a video for further help:

Overkiller20
Assassinate 50 guards with the hidden blade. (13)

The hidden blade is your main weapon. You press to assassinate an enemy whom is unaware of you. If you kill them in one hit and they aren't attacking you, that's basically an assassination. This will come easily over time as you play the game naturally.

Show-Off20
Parachute onto a zipline. (32)

You may think this needs to be done from high up, but it doesn't. This means whenever you find a zipline you can do it. You should have parachutes unless you have used them all. If this is a case, go to a tailor and purchase them. Find a zipline and climb up it (not to the very top though, just the part the line is attached to). Now jump, hold and then let go and hold . If you do this quickly enough, you will parachute and then drop onto the zipline.

Here's a video for further assistance:

Sage20
Collect all available books. (162)

This achievement will not be obtainable until Sequence 7, when you go to an area previously undiscovered. The achievement requires that you buy every book shop to have every available book for sale. So you must buy all books from the main map, then 4 from the map you get in Sequence 7. To have all books available, you must have all 15 shops renovated. This is a good idea anyways, because you need to make money. Before doing Sequence 7, you'll need a lot of money to buy the books. You also must do all 7 book quests. As you progress through the story, you will be told what they are and they will start appearing on your map. They look like book store symbols except that they have a black border around them. To make them easier to find you can go into your map and customize what you see with the .

Book Shops (main map)
Note: These will all be listed after renovating all 15 book shops, no matter what store you go to. Also, these prices reflect a 15% discount.

  • The Odyssey: 171

Book Quests
These aren't really even quests at all. You go to the point on the map and go into eagle sense. Then you just have to find where the book is by highlighting the glowing parts. Pick the book up to complete the quest. These quests only take a couple minutes at most.

As you can see, buying books can cost you a fortune. The way to keep up your money in the game so that you have enough by the time you get to and finish Sequence 7, is of course renovation. Renovate every building you can any time you see them. Do this only to shops and maybe guild stuff. Do not buy any landmarks. Any increase in your 20 minute money making schedule would take a very long time to make back. Also it's a great idea to send your assassins on missions frequently. Any time you get the chance, send them on missions. You need to do this to rank them up anyways. Then eventually you'll own every city on the map and always be defending and making money. One last thing is to watch your spending. Do not buy every weapon you see. Stick to the essentials and once you get done with the assassin guild challenges, you'll have the best armor and sword, so do those as soon as you can to have max benefits.

Fast Fingers20
Loot 50 dead guards with thief looting. (33)

Thief looting is a reward you get for completing Set 2 of the Thieves Challenges.

  • Perform 40 leaps of faith
  • Climb 1km in distance
  • Steal 250 currency with Counter Steal

You can use any leap of faith over and over again. I would just suggest finding one that is easy to climb to and using it. This might come over the course of gameplay as well. For climbing 1km, this will come easily while playing (considering you need 40 leaps of faith as well). To steal money, hold and press when a guard attacks you. You can check your progress of these challenges by pressing and selecting challenges.

Now that you have your thief looting skill, find some thieves and hire them. Now go kill guards and they will loot all of the bodies for you.

Mosh Pit20
Have 10 guards poisoned at the same time. (30)

You will need to create a bomb that spreads poison for this achievement. To make the bomb, you must have ingredients to create it. Any shell works technically, but impact is best. Use the British Gunpowder to ensure widest area of effect. The main ingredient to even make the bomb is Datura Powder. You can get these ingredients in many ways, looting dead bodies, chests, rewards, etc. You can even just go buy them if you can't manage to make them.

Focus on crafting both a Cherry Bomb and a Datura Bomb (the poison bomb's name). Find an area with a lot of guards and throw a Cherry Bomb in the center. You may also use other forms of distraction based bombs as well. Of course, there are other ways but the ones listed will make it easier.

An excellent spot to get this is in Sequence 4 Memory 1. You'll come to a courtyard after knocking out 6/9 people and there will be several guards. Make sure you have a Cherry Bomb. Climb up a little bit or stay out of view. Throw a Cherry Bomb to get the guards to one spot. Now throw your Poison Bomb in the center of them to gain the achievement.

Mouse Trap20
Kill 5 guards with a scaffold after they have been stunned by caltrops. (36)

In order to gain this achievement you must first have a caltrop bomb. You can buy these from the Black Market Dealers or by crafting them yourself. When they explode, they have spikes fly out and the guards that walk on them will hop up and down on one foot in pain.

After obtaining the bombs, go ahead and look for a scaffold. They are in many areas and are basically wooden planks/platform structures that help people do work. Normally they do not have anyone on them. If you run next to one holding , you will notice it says "Pull Down" as you run by. You will have to be running and holding the button to see it say that, then press to execute the pull down. It will topple over. I suggest trying it once first before doing it with guards. These do not have to be at once, you could do it one at a time if you really wanted. Get the attention of a group of guards and bring them to the scaffold. Quick throw the bomb with (must be selected via menu) and the guards will walk on the spikes and start hopping up and down. Now run by the scaffold and press to pull it.

Craft Maniac20
Craft 30 bombs. (36)

During Sequence 3 Memory 4, you will learn how to craft bombs. Once you learn where to go to craft bombs, you can get this achievement whenever you want. While in the bomb inventory during crafting, just pick any of the pouches and fill in the shell, gunpowder, and effect. Then hit craft bomb at the bottom. That will count as 1. Now hit and dismantle the bomb. It will give you back your supplies. Do this over and over again, building bombs and then dismantle them. You will lose nothing by doing this. Once you think you have enough, exit out to gain your achievement.

My Protégé 20
Have one trainee reach the rank of Master Assassin. (8)

Refer to The Mentor.

Almost Flying20
Parachute directly from the top of the Galata Tower to the golden horn. (21)

The Galata Tower is the huge tower next to the Assassins' HQ. You can fast travel there using the Tunnel Entrances scattered around. There is actually a Memoir Page on the top of the Galata Tower.. If you don't have a parachute already, purchase some from any tailor. Climb to the top of the Galata Tower and face South (based on map). The golden horn is basically the water that separates the two bodies of land on the map. This is where the ferries are. Just jump and hold , heading south. You will slowly glide to the water. Once you drop in, a few second later the achievement will unlock.

Silent But Deadly20
Kill three guards simultaneously with only throwing knives. (33)

There are many places where there are multiple guards to kill. You want to find guards that don't have any armor on or very little (that way they die in one hit). All 3 guards have to die in one hit. Go to an area with at least 3 of the above guards and make sure you have knives equipped. Hold to select them on the right stick's wheel. Hold down when you have them equipped and you should see the guards light up. Now let go to kill them. If you have a bad position, you may press to cancel the throw and try a different angle.

If you still have not obtained the achievement by Sequence 4 Memory 1, then you can do it within the memory. Get to where you have 6/9 people knocked out and you'll come into an area with a ton of enemies. There are a good amount of unarmored ones.

Here's a video for further assistance:

I can see you20
Kill 5 guards while under the cover of a smoke screen bomb. (19)

To make the bomb, you must have ingredients to create it. Any shell works technically, but impact is best. Use the British Gunpowder to ensure widest area of effect. The main ingredient to even make the bomb is Phosphorus. You can get these ingredients in many ways, looting dead bodies, chests, rewards, etc. You can even just go buy them if you can't manage to make them. You can press to see through the smoke after throwing it. This achievement only requires you to do this 5 times. You do not have to do it all at once, but you might end up doing that anyways while going for Lightning Strikes achievement.

Here's a video for further assistance:

Monster's Dance20
Have a guard incapacitate 3 civilians while he's poisoned. (25)

While it's not required, using the Gold Bomb will guarantee you get this achievement easily.Craft one and make sure you also have poison darts. You can also try buying them from the Black Market Dealers. Go into a crowded area, usually a market works well. Find some guards and throw the Gold Bomb at their feet. The crowd will rush violently towards the gold and the guards will react shocked and may come after you or fend off the crowd. Quickly shoot one with an arrow and they start swinging away as they are dying. You can throw a second bomb if you want if it looks like the crowd is dispersing, but they will be fighting the guards so you should get it with one.

An alternate method would be to poison a guard with a dart, then throw money at him (not the bomb). This will cause people to rush him and you won't be detected as a threat by other guards. You also won't have to use any bombs at all.

Here's a video for further assistance:

Bully20
Find and beat up Duccio. (105)

The character Duccio will be introduced in Sequence 4 Memory 3. He will run off after you confront him. Afterwards, he will remain in the Constantine District. Once you spot him, there will be a red icon on the map. Likely, you will spot him without trying. When doing a Master Assassin Mission called "The Guardian, Part 1" you will be in a market which is very close to his location. If not, just go into that district and go to the Blacksmith shop in the North part. He is behind that building.

Note: This character will not appear in game until you have completed Sequence 4 Memory 3.

Secret Achievements

DLC: Ancestors Multiplayer Character Pack
Cost: $3.99 USD Achievements: 4 Points: 90

Stopped Dead20
Obtain 3 Hidden Gun kills during a session of Steal The Artifact as The Corsair (Multiplayer). (186)

Ability: Hidden Gun
Ability Unlocked: Level 17
Character: The Corsair
Mode: Free for All - Steal the Artifact

You must first assign this ability to an ability set in the multiplayer menu. After picking Free for All and Steal the Artifact, make sure to choose The Corsair for the achievement. If someone else picked the character or you got put into another random match, you may quit out and try again. You will have a short amount of time to complete 3 kills. Each time you shoot the gun there is a 90 second cooldown before you can use it again. This means if you miss you will be wasting valuable time. Do not pick the artifact up and always stay on the offensive.

The Vulture20
Perform 5 Ground Finish in Manhunt during a session as The Brigand (Multiplayer). (147)

Ability: Any
Ability Unlocked: N/A
Character: The Brigand
Mode: Team Objectives - Manhunt

Choose the game mode Manhunt and be sure to choose The Brigand. If the game mode changes or someone else picks that character, quit out and try again. You do not have to have any specific ability to do this achievement. Try to stay close to your target somewhat and never attack. When someone else kills your target, move in and finish them. Repeat 4 more times within same session.

Pirate’s bravery30
Use the Bodyguard against your pursuer as The Privateer (Multiplayer). (52)

Ability: Bodyguard
Ability Unlocked: Level 15
Character: The Privateer
Mode: Any

In any game mode, make sure you have the Bodyguard ability in your set. Choose The Privateer. If someone else picks this character, quit out and try again. Get to an open area and be an easy target and run around. When your pursuer starts to chase you, use the ability.

The Juggernaut20
Perform 3 kills using the Charge as The Gladiator (Multiplayer). (39)

Ability: Charge
Ability Unlocked: Level 20
Character: The Gladiator
Mode: Any

This can be done in any game mode but you must have Charge in your ability set as well as be The Gladiator. Line up where you think your target is and use the ability. It will disperse a crowd so you don't have to fear killing the wrong person.

DLC: Mediterranean Traveller Map Pack
Cost: $9.99 USD Achievements: 6 Points: 150

Carnival20
Stay blended for 3 minutes during a Wanted session in Siena (Multiplayer). (339)

This achievement’s description is rather misleading as you don’t have to be blended for three minutes straight, but instead have to blend for a cumulative total of three minutes. Simply find a group of people standing around (NPCs) and join the group. The achievement will pop after three minutes have passed in total. Ensure that you are playing the game type “Wanted” on the map “Siena” otherwise you will be unable to get this.

Note: This achievement can be boosted in a private match.

Wild Rage30
Perform 3 Stuns without dying in Jerusalem (Multiplayer). (147)

This achievement can be done in a public match, but would be rather difficult due to the ‘contested kill’ system that is in place. An easier way to get this is by using a smoke bomb as your pursuer is coming after you to stop them in their tracks and to give yourself time to stun your enemy. To obtain this achievements, you have to stun three enemies in a row without being killed. To stun an enemy, you must press the button before they attack you, stopping them in their tracks and making them lose you as a target. This can be done on any game mode as long as the map “Jerusalem” is chosen.

Note: This achievement can be boosted in a private match.

Restrained Violence20
Obtain 5 Kill Assist bonuses during a session of any Team Mode in Dyers (Multiplayer). (284)

To get this achievement, you must obtain a total of five kill assist bonuses. You get this by targeting an enemy with and letting another Templar on your team kill the enemy. Target as many enemies as you can and let your team dispatch them. Upon the fifth enemy’s death, the achievement will pop. Ensure that you are in a TEAM mode game (Manhunt, Capture the Chest, etc.) and not a PVP mode game (Wanted, etc.) on the map “Dyers”, as the achievement will only pop during team games on this map.

Note: When I was boosting this achievement, I noticed something strange that works in your favour. If the person who kills the enemy AND the person that doesn’t both target the enemy before he is killed, both will receive the bonus and earn the achievement after five enemies have been killed. This speeds boosting along a tad bit quicker, but isn’t totally necessary as only five kills are needed.

Note: This can be boosted in a private match.

Straw Hat30
Perform 2 kills from haystacks during a session in San Donato (Multiplayer). (99)

Hide in any haystack (or leaf pile) and kill your enemy twice to get this achievement. This is easiest done boosting, but can be done legit with a bit of luck. When the enemy comes by you in the haystack, press to initiate a kill before they get out of range. Simply do this twice for the achievement. Ensure that you are on the map “San Donato”. Any game mode will work for this one.

Note: Iussus pointed out that this achievement can in fact also be earned in 'training ground', so if you would like to not play an online match for this, that is just another alternative.

Note: This can be boosted in a private match.

The Spice of Life30
Obtain 2 Variety bonuses during a session in Firenze (Multiplayer). (144)

The bonus “Greater Variety” must be earned in order for this achievement to pop. Just perform actions until the bonus pops. Note that it’s a bit easier if you have poison or the gun unlocked. Here’s a possible list of bonuses to go through (much easier done if you are boosting):

1: First Blood (Can be done with the following three bonuses, or separately. Just be the first one to kill in the game session)
2: Hidden Kill (Hide in a haystack and kill your target)
3: Focus (Can be done with hidden kill, ensure the meter around the button is completely full and flashing)
4: Incognito (Can also be done with hidden kill, just hide until your kill meter is full (“incognito”) and then kill your enemy.
5: Ledge Kill (Hang on the side of a building with your target above you, and kill them while they are above you on the roof)
6: Acrobatic Kill (Get on any of the narrow walkways connecting between buildings and kill your target from there when they come within range)
7: Gun Kill (You must be level 17 to have the gun, simply kill your target with the gun to get this bonus)
8: Silent (Kill your enemy when your kill meter displays “silent”)
9: Discreet (Kill your enemy when your kill meter displays “discreet”)
10: Reckless (Kill your enemy when your kill meter displays “reckless”)
(Greater Variety should unlock, also unlocking the achievement. )

This is just one of many possible combinations to unlock the “Greater Variety” bonus. Many other bonuses can be used to get to this, just ensure that there are ten different bonuses in total. Also ensure that you are playing any game type on the map “Firenze”.

NOTE that this achievement can also be obtained in Training Ground. A big thanks to PS3T user 'Moving On' for the following explanation:

Okay, I just finished my extensive experimenting and you indeed can get Greater Variety on the Training Ground. There's a few key things you have to keep in mind.

Aerial Kill does not count towards variety. I was pretty sure it didn't, but I made sure and checked it this morning. The Aerial Kill is just another way to say "Kill" and it doesn't count as a bonus.

Variety does not count towards variety. Again, I was pretty sure it didn't, but I made sure and checked this, too. So upon getting "Variety", your bonus count doesn't go up to 6, it stays at 5. Greater Variety doesn't count either, so after getting that bonus, you're at 10 bonuses instead of 11.

Streak bonuses do count towards variety. I'm actually not sure if this was the case in Brotherhood, but I had noticed it a couple of times in Revelations over the past few months.

Animus Hack does count towards variety. Interestingly enough, this is a bonus separate from the Streak bonus and there's the key to getting Greater Variety on the Training Ground: only by using the Animus Hack streak can you actually get those 10 bonuses. Keep in mind that the bonus "Animus Hack" only shows up when you actually kill a pursuer (impossible on Training Ground) or your true target. Killing a non-target NPC will not give you points or the bonus.

So here's the list you need to get the Greater Variety bonus on the Training Ground.

1. Incognito
2. Silent
3. Discreet
4. Reckless
5. Focus
6. Hidden
7. Poison
8. Acrobatic
9. Streak
10. Animus Hack

I've read somewhere else that it should be possible to also get the Execution bonus if you bring the Hidden Gun and start a chase with your NPC target. I tried that, but couldn't get the bonus and in general, it sounds like too much of a hassle. The list above is enough to get Greater Variety (remember to pick Florence as your map, though) if you use an ability set that has Poison and one of the two Animus kill streaks (preferably the 9 kill version, so even kills below Silent count).

Note: This can be boosted in a private match.

Up and Down20
Perform 5 Leaps of Faith during a session of Assassinate in Imperial District (Multiplayer). (114)

This achievement is very easy to obtain. To get this, simply climb on the roof of a building that is next to a haystack. Perform 5 Leaps of Faith (jump from the roof into the haystack/leaf pile below) to unlock this achievement. Note that you must be playing the game mode “Assassinate” on the map “Imperial”.

Note: This can be boosted in a private match if you really must.
