Why couldn't they AT LEAST have split the achievements up like Batman's? Bronze, Silver, and Gold tiers would at least encourage me to play through it...but I know I'll probably never perfect them, so why bother?

I love playing as Nightwing but... I just wish I could free roam Arkham city. That would be the best.

True dat #5. He is pretty fun to play with. In all honesty if they didnt add that when you get a 12 hit streak, fighting slows down I would suck at challenges. Having that makes everything a bit easier. Nightwing is pretty fun to play with.

Working my way through the challenges as Batman and I am having a good time,
but I really find these achievements for the DLC character to be a reason NOT
to buy them because as much as I love the game and enjoy the challenges I do not
want to go through them 4+ times. The characters are different, I understand that.
I just feel that there is no thought going into this. I do not see how Rocksteady
could justify these achievements being a good idea and/or the implementation of
the characters showing up just to do challenges that no one wants to replay over
and over and over and over.

I think that they should split the achievements and not let DLC's effect your 100% completion. Then have seperate percentage breakdowns like - Shipped Game = 100% -- XYZ DLC = 52%

And the only DLC achievements that would even show up in your achievement list are DLC's you ACTUALLY BOUGHT... instead of slapping them onto MY game forcing me to buy DLC's I really don't want just to keep my 100%. It's BS and I am sure it's an easy programming fix on their end.

^Sure it's an easy programming fix. But they're going to sucker in people who want that 100% like you every time if they leave it this way. :)

Yep, if you care about your 100% THAT much, that nobody else can even see, except for your signature on here...well you deserve to pay more money for horrible 'addons' IMO.

This is the same picture they used for the gladiator achievement except it is a staff instead of clubs.

I hate how DLC achievements get added to your profile regardless if you even purchased it, screwing up your perfect games.

This! I hate it too...

God I suck at the combat in the batman games. It's good enough to get me through the main game but I'm terrible at these Challenge maps so these Achievements are way beyond my reach.

Just got this. Would advise anyone thinking about purchasing this to think twice. These challenge rooms get very tedious, very old, very fast. 4th time round for me now (Batman, Catwoman, Robin and now Nightwing) and they've definitely out stayed their welcome. Now playing purely for the achievements, which isn't good.

Yeah I'm in the same boat #18. It feels good getting the achievement, but other than that i'm extremely glad it's over.

Thanks #18 for reminding me. Sometimes playing a game is work, because just going for achievements and not the enjoyment of the game is terrible. Lost track of why we play games in the first place.

I got Batman's and Catwoman's achievements back in October and November. Had a blast! I took a nice long break from the game until a few days ago when I bought Nightwing DLC. Considering I took a 3 month break it was really fun! Im thinking I will pick up Robin in March or April and it should feel just as badass as it did the first time.

Oh, c'mon! I almost destroyed my console and my tv with those challenges and campains, and now I have to do the same 3 more times?!!! forget it!!... -_- *sigh* okay, I'll do it again.... but just because I love you, Rocksteady.

The only problem I have with these challenges are the Predator Challenges.
God, I've still got to do these challenges along with Robins, can't wait to get these achievements because I will feel I *Achieved* something as hard as this (in a game).

I have got all but one of the medals and the achievement still hasn't popped up. Will i have to start a new game and do them all over again?

They can be very annoying these challenges. My advice for combat is build a high combo and press A+B. For predator, try and do the hardest medal first e.g "Triple head shot". Other than that use the wrist dart for a 1 hit k/o on the armored ones and use the batclaw to drag enemies off walkways as much as you can.
