Introduction:
This is a kart game in the Ben 10 universe. Just like most kart games, it's aimed at a younger audience. Though again like other kart games, it's not extremely easy to complete win races. You can set the difficulty to Easy in the options, but you will still have get get lucky a good portion of the time. You can hang out in last for a while and still manage to get to 1st place. Likewise, you can be in 1st place for all 3 laps, then right when you are about to cross the finish line, you get bombarded with power-up attacks and end up last or close to last. This means this game can be quite frustrating because of the rubber-band AI. Basically you will do the Grand Prix circuits, some time trials, and a little bit of Showdown modes. Afterwards it's grinding. Good news, is you aren't in the dark about your achievement progress. You can track them in game in the extras menu.

Important: You must master drifting with  and using the defensive power with . Getting this figured out early on will save you a ton of time with grinding.

Step 1: Grand Prix:
To unlock most everything else, you will need to get all gold on all circuits in the Grand Prix. Get the most points to get gold within the races. You cannot take the easy route of restarting a race within the circuit. You would have to restart the whole thing. This is where the game can be frustrating because you could get 1st twice in a row, then the last race get 4th. There is always 1 AI who is very good and might get 2nd 2nd and then 1st because you didn't You must be very defensive especially on the last leg of the race.

Before you start, you might want to go into extras and into promotional codes. Put in the following characters: Ben, Spidermonkey, Kevin, and Echo Echo. If you do not know what they look like, they are the first 4 characters in the lineup of characters and it shows their names. This will at least give you a pretty good kart to start with called the Kinecelerator.

Step 2: Time Trials:
You should have earned all of the trials by beating all of the circuits. Now you just need to beat the best times in some of them (not all). One on each planet for those related achievements, and specific tracks to get all karts. Refer to Kart Collector to see which ones you need to do.

Step 3: Showdown Modes:
There are 3 different showdown modes you must compete in and get 10 wins each. These modes also help for certain achievements (refer to the guide). You will also have to play Omni-Tag single player and as a team. That's a total of 30 wins in those modes. Ultimate Elimination only has one achievement and you can quit out once you get it within the race.

Step 4: Grinding Remaining Achievements:
After all of the modes are done, you probably just have a few achievements left to focus on. The ones that will take the longest are "Outta My Way!!!!!" and "Not a Scratch." You will be very done with the game by this point and probably not be happy having to do random races to get these.

Conclusion:
It is an easy game, but at the same time it's a kart game. This means frustration. It's all about replaying the races and you will win. It has a lot to do with timing and luck. The reason the hours vary is because some people might get things done faster than others whom will struggle with some races.

Snow Drifter10
Beat the Track Best time in a Time Trial on any Kylmyys track.

Kylmyys is the blue planet with white pieces that is a frozen wasteland. I suggest that you go for Necrofriggian Valley's or Tidal Tundra's time trial. This is because you unlock 2 karts (one for each track) when you beat the times.

The list of Klymyys tracks are as follows:

  • Frozen Freeway
  • Blizzard Ridge
  • Tidal Tundra
  • Icefall Cavern
  • Necrofriggian Valley
Trash Truckin'10
Beat the Track Best time in a Time Trial on any Vulpin Track.

Vulpin is the red planet that is all indoors. I suggest that you go for Rubble Rumble's time trial. This is because you unlock one of the karts by beating the time trial there.

The list of Vulpin's tracks are as follows:

  • Toxic Tunnels
  • Garbage Gauntlet
  • Rubble Rumble
  • Trashy Twist
  • The Sludgeway
Driverus Primus15
Beat the Track Best time in a Time Trial on any Primus track.

Primus is the blue planet with the green splashes on it. I suggest that you go for Azmuth's Forge's time trial. This is because you unlock one of the karts by beating the time trial there.

The list of Primus tracks are as follows:

  • Codon Climb
  • Jungle Run
  • Gavlan Gorge
  • Codon Caldera
  • Azmuth's Forge
Wave Runner15
Beat the Track Best time in a Time Trial on any Piscciss track.

Piscciss is the blue planet. I suggest that you go for Whirlpool Core's time trial. This is because you unlock one of the karts by beating the time trial there.

The list of Piscciss tracks are as follows:

  • Seawater Switchback
  • The Agitator
  • Wave Runner
  • Piscciss Falls
  • Whirlpool Core
Warp Driver15
Beat the Track Best time in a Time Trial on any Null Void track.

Null Void is the grey planet that looks like a rock. There are no karts to unlock on these tracks, so you can pick any.

The list of Null Void tracks are as follows:

  • Drill Bass Drag
  • Null Avoidance
  • Guardian Gauntlet
  • Dimension Dementia
  • Havoc Highway
Got Skillz10
Beat the Track Best time in a Time Trial on any track by 10 seconds or more.

As you play the trials to unlock the karts, you might just get this achievement too. The shorter tracks are extremely hard to do this on and some might not even really be possible. The longer races will make this a lot easier. Just remember to always get the pickups over doing jumps when given the option. Also make sure to always drift to get a speed boost.

Tag! I'm It!20
Win 10 individual Omni-Tag showdowns in Single Player mode.

From the main menu, choose Showdown. Select Omni-Tag. What you must do is grab what they call "Plumber's Badge" on the map and bring it to the green colored gate. There is only one badge. Set the timer to 1:00 and play on Asteroid Arena. When the countdown begins, hold  right after the announcer says "2". If timed right, you will turbo towards the middle to grab the badge. If you don't, you will have to shoot the badge holder to get the badge. Once obtained, go around the outside under the gates by drifting the entire time. It is extremely rare for the enemies to actually hit you. You should have an easy win this way. Repeat 9 times.

Tag! We're It!20
Win 10 Team Omni-Tag showdowns in Single Player mode.

Same as above, but make sure you check mark the "team mode" option. You can play with the team or just let them play while you do something else. If you win as a team, it counts. You do not have to be the highest scored player (or score at all for that matter).

Ultimate Alienator20
Win 10 Ultimate Alienation showdowns in Single Player mode.

From the main menu go to "Showdown". Now pick Ultimate Alienation. Set to 1:00. You can pretty much pick any level. To make things extremely easy, just sit on a power-up and keep shooting while holding forward. You will always win this way, gaining anywhere from 18-35 points in a single match.

Beat the Clock10
Escaped elimination in an Ultimate Elimination with less than 10 on the clock in Single Player mode.

From the main menu, go to "Showdown". Pick Ultimate Elimination. Any level will do. This is a race based mode. Whoever is in last place when the timer runs out will be eliminated, and a new timer will begin. During the last 10 seconds of any part of the elimination (it will be red), just get from last place to the next place up. This is actually a very easy time frame.

Shattered10
Destroy 10 Shard Mines using the EMP power-up in Single Player mode.

This can be gained in races if you want. Grab the EMP power-up and blast the ice shards on the ground that normally hurt you. That might get in the way of your racing though. So instead, start up a Ultimate Alienation round on any level. Set the timer to the highest. Go to a power-up and just sit on it. Keep pressing . What will happen is sometimes you will get the Shard Mines and others you will get EMP. The EMP will blast the Shard Mines away. You can get this in a single round.

Counter Measure10
Destroy an incoming attack by firing an attack of your own in Single Player mode.

There are many ways to get this. You can do it while racing if you try. Pick up an power-up and use it behind you (press back on  if the power normally shoots forward) whenever you see the exclamation mark above your kart which indicates there is an attack coming. You can also get this in Ultimate Alienation by spamming  while sitting in the back of a level. Your power should hit other powers, counting for this achievement.

Nothin' But Skill10
Win a race on any Basic track without using an Omni-Node or Offensive Power in Single Player mode. (1)

The only thing you can use while going for this achievement is the defensive power which you get from using drift () and pressing . The basic tracks are the ones that are very short and take usually 30-50 seconds a lap. Always take shortcuts and use the defense power when needed. This can be quite luck based.

Nothin' But More Skill20
Win a race on any Intermediate track without using an Omni-Node or Offensive Power in Single Player.

The only thing you can use while going for this achievement is the defensive power which you get from using drift () and pressing . The Intermediate tracks are the ones that are medium in length and take usually over a minute a lap. Always take shortcuts and use the defense power when needed. This can be quite luck based.

Nothin' But Maximum Skill40
Win a race on an Advanced track without using an Omni-Node or Offensive Power in Single Player mode.

The only thing you can use while going for this achievement is the defensive power which you get from using drift () and pressing . The advanced tracks are the ones that take the longest and are always the "full track" of each world. They can take a minute and a half or more a lap. Always take shortcuts and use the defense power when needed. This can be quite luck based, and specifically annoying when having to do the whole thing over again. This can be a very frustrating achievement which might take you several tries.

Boom! Winning!30
Successfully hit every opponent in a race at least once with any Power-Up in Single Player mode.

There are 7 other players besides you in the races. You must hit all of them at least once, which is actually very easy. Besides just spamming the power-ups, you will want to go over jumps to gain your ultimate power. Once obtained, make sure you're near the back and press . This shoudl take care of most of them in front of you. You might just get this while normally playing through the game, so don't actually try for it until you are done with the Grand Prix.

Omni-Node Master30
Pick up 8 different Omni-Node types in each of 10 different races in Single Player mode.

There are a total of 12 powers. An Omni-Node is the power-ups you get when in races. If you look at the achievement symbol, it looks like that. This is not to be confused with the specific powers your character has (ultimate or special power node).

You will need to get 8 of the 12 below in 10 different races (any track will do but longer tracks give you more time to pull it off). You do not have to hit anyone with them, just use them. It might take you dropping down in last place to get a few you normally wouldn't get while in first. This might come in along while playing if you use powers every chance you get one.

Way Bigger
EMP
Stink, Stank, Stuck
Omni-Not
Goop
Accelerator
Enemy Vine
Ultimate
Spectrum Blast
Splash
Neuro Blast
Shard Mine

Missed Me!20
Finish a race in the top three without being affected by an enemy attack in Single Player mode.

This is one of the only achievements that allow you to get 2nd or 3rd place. You will likely get this if you are very defensive in driving and constantly use your defensive power obtained by drifting. Also you can use power-ups to help. This is best done on the shorter tracks of course. Less time to get hit.

Not Even a Scratch15
Block/avoid 100 attacks using your Defensive Power in Single Player mode.

This will be one of the last achievements you get. To gain your defensive power, hold  while turning to build it. Then press  whenever an incoming attack is on it's way to hit you. You can also use it as you go over power-ups left on the track (like Shard Mines for example). You can always check your stats for this achievement in extras/achievements.

Bumper Karts10
Successfully bump 25 karts in Single Player mode.

See "Outta My Way!!!!!" achievement description.

Alien Force20
Successfully bump 50 karts in Single Player mode.

See "Outta My Way!!!!!" achievement description.

Outta My Way!!!!!25
Successfully bump 100 karts in Single Player mode.

If you aren't constantly trying for this, you may not even get the first 25 by the time you are done with the game. This isn't just bumping another kart like the achievement describes. The opponent must actually get taken out (knocked out) by you. This is best done using your defensive attack. If you run into people while it is on, it will count as a bump. You can also hang out in last place and eventually get the super power-up which will bring you closer to the people in front of you and knock anyone out that you touch. It's a very odd power though and sometimes will last a long time or only a second or two depending on how far away you are from the other karts. Track this in extras/achievements to see how many you have. You can quit out of a match if you want and everything still will count.

Get My Drift?5
Execute a 500-meter drift in a race in Single Player mode.

See "Prime Drifter" achievement description.

Kineceleration20
Execute a continuous boost of 8 seconds or more in a race in Single Player mode. (1)

This is pretty hard to obtain but there is one specific track that has many boosts and slightly curves, so that you can also use boost gained from drifting. Doing time trials is the best game mode for this. You will not be disturbed by enemies and every pickup is accelerate. The power-up gives you a speed boost. So you can find areas that have a lot of speed boosts and power-up pickups to gain this achievement

NoteI could not find the track I got the achievement on but it had a ton of speed boosts and was curved so that you could also gain boost from drifting. When someone gets to this track, please let me know the name so I can include it in the guide. It's nearly the only spot you can do it easily. Thanks!

Prime Drifter20
Execute a 750-meter drift in a race in Single Player mode. (1)

There might just be one opportunity in normal racing to get this achievement. Even then it could be quite a challenge to do. Instead, pick any track that has an open area, and drift in circles. This is best done with a kart that has decent steering.

Big Air10
Complete a jump with an air time of 3 seconds in a race in Single Player mode.

See "Way Bigger Air" achievement description.

Way Bigger Air15
Complete a jump with an air time of 4 seconds or more in a race in Single Player mode.

You will get the air time achievements very easily while playing some of the more advanced tracks. There isn't much you can do besides play normally to get these. Nothing special must be done, just go off the ramps like normal. There is actually no way to avoid getting them because one of the tracks that has the highest air time makes you go off the jump.

On the Right Track40
Unlock all of the grand prix tracks.

As you progress, you will unlock tracks. This will come as you go for getting all gold medals.

Showdowns Galore20
Unlock all of the arena tracks.

Unlocking all of the arena tracks is also related to doing the Galactic Grand Prix. You will get this as you go for completing that.

Double Trouble10
Complete 10 2X stunt combos while racing in Single Player mode.

See "Omni-Trickster" achievement description.

Triple Threat20
Complete 10 3X stunt combos while racing in Single Player mode.

See "Omni-Trickster" achievement description.

Omni-Trickster60
Complete 10 4X stunt combos while racing in Single Player mode.

A stunt combo is performed while going off of a jump. To get a combo to count, you must do a different trick than you just did. To do a trick, just press any direction on the . If you wanted to you can alternate between pressing left and right or up and down. You do not have to do all different tricks. These do not stack so you will have to get them as you play. The only real spot to do the 4x is on Havoc Highway. It's actually right at the start of the race. You can do all trick achievements here if you play a single race on this track and restart it each time you land a combo.

Air Show20
Take out an opponent with a power-up while the opponent is airborne in Single Player mode.

You will need a power-up that is offensive and that knocks out an opponent. Use the power when the AI is about to go off the ramp, or while in the air with them. The powers that should work are as showed below:

Neuro Blast: Shoots a green laser (can bounce off walls). Minimum heat seeking capability.

EMP: Burst of energy around you. This is an area of effect around you.

Splash: Shoots out a heat seeking water projectile.
You may use other powers in the air that could get you this, like leaving a Shard Mine behind you if the player is directly behind. This achievement shouldn't be thought of much though, as you'll probably get it playing normally anyways.

Leapfrog10
Pass an opponent by jumping over/past them in Single Player mode.

This will surely come as you play through the Grand Prix. There are several jumps in the game and you will be around the AI a lot when doing them.

Absolutely Smashing10
Successfully bump an opponent by landing on him in Single Player mode.

This will most likely be obtained while playing normally through the Grand Prix. When you do a jump, try to move in the direction over another kart. When you land on them it will knock them out for a second or two.

Unstoppable!15
Win a race by tumbling or spinning over the finish line in Single Player mode.

You may get lucky and get this through normal play. However, a lot of the power-ups used against you before you get to the finish line cause you to go straight up in the air, or don't make you tumble at all. There is a sure way of getting it, making it extremely easy to plan out.

Track: Piscciss Falls

In front of the finish line is a patch of ice. All you must do is get into first, and when on the final lap, make sure you hit this patch of ice. You will slide across the finish line and unlock the achievement.

Close Call10
Win a race by less than a second in Single Player mode.

This will likely come as you play normally through the game. You must come in first place and the 2nd place AI must literally be under a second. There is no real easy way to plan this and is primarily luck. Though there will be many close calls in the game giving you a higher chance.

Give 'Em the Slip10
Pass an opponent while drifting in Single Player mode.

You will get this as you play without trying. Whenever you turn a corner, remember to hold  to drift.

Codon Infusion40
Unlock all of the characters in the game.

To unlock additional characters you will be earning them through Galactic Grand Prix. You will get this while going for all gold trophies in the races.

  • Vilgax
  • Four Arms
  • Heatblast
  • Fasttrack
  • AmpFibian
  • Ghostfreak
Kart Collector30
Unlock all of the karts in the game. (1)

There are 6 extra karts you must unlock. You do this by beating the below time trials (getting best track time). After beating the circuits you will start to unlock these time trials, which are found in the main menu of the game.

First of, go to Extras and then to Promotional Codes. Put the faces in order as follows: Ben, Spidermonkey, Kevin, and Echo Echo. This will unlock one kart which is normally done through time trials. Getting it early means you might have an easier time with the races. See below to unlock all karts.

  1. Rust Bucket unlocked by beating Necrofriggen Valley time trial
  2. Vreedle Truck unlocked by beating Rubble Ramble time trial
  3. Plasma Tank unlocked by beating Tidal Tundra time trial
  4. Plumber Ship unlocked by beating Azmuth's Forge time trial
  5. Ship unlocked by beating Whirlpool Core time trial
  6. Kinecelerator unlocked via trial, but use code below instead
Galactic Racing Champion50
Win a trophy on every Grand Prix circuit.

See "Ultimate Trophy Room" achievement description.

Ultimate Trophy Room100
Win a first place trophy on every Grand Prix circuit. (1)

This is the main part of the game. There are a total of 8 circuits you must beat. The first 7 circuits have 3 races each and the last race has 4. This is a total of 25 races that you must do. As you progress the length of the tracks will increase. As you learn the game you should start doing better. For the circuits, you must place first. To get in first you must have the most points. Each placing has a specific amount of points allocated. The higher the place, the more points. Out of the races you must have more points. Because this is a cart game, there are random frustrating moments that will occur. You will be in first place the whole time for example, and near the end of the race will be bombarded with power-ups and end up losing. You might have to replay the circuits a few times. Having a better cart does help. Refer to "Kart Collector" achievement description to find out how to get the better karts.

TIPS

  • Always use  when turning corners to gain your defense ability. You use this ability by pressing when charged up (indicated on the right bottom of screen).
  • Always do stuns in the air, or take the part of the track that leads to stunts. To do a stunt, press any direction/s on the . The left bar on the bottom which is a gold color will show when charged. Then you press  to do a special offensive attack which usually clears anything in front of you.
  • Try to take shortcuts, or block others from taking them when given the chance.
  • Do the time trials to earn the better karts. Refer to the achievement description.
  • Being in last on the 3rd lap doesn't meant restart. You can get special power-ups to get you into first.
  • There is no restarting a race in a tournament.
  • Usually there will only be 1 AI you have to worry about during the circuits. They will always be in the first 3 places. Try your best to stay in front of, or knock out this character. It is always random.
