Introduction
Blazblue Continuum Shift is the sequel to Blazblue Calamity Trigger. Both are fighting games developed by Arc System Works, who are well known for many fighting games like Battle Fantasia, Arcana Heart 3, and the Guilty Gear series. Many things have been added to Blazblue Continuum Shift that were not present in its prequel like a tutorial, challenges for each character, and legion mode. There are also some 3 new additions to the roster (Hazama, Tsubaki, and Mu) as well as 3 additional characters (Makoto, Valkenhayn, and Platinum) that are DLC. You can buy each of them from the marketplace for 560 points and they come with 3 achievements each. Also, Lambda replaces Nu in this game as a playable character. A few changes have been made to gameplay in this sequel too. All characters have gained additional moves and have been tweaked, conditions to perform on Astral Heat have changed, and Guard Libra and Barrier Breaks have been replaced with Guard Primers and Break Bursts respectively.

This game has 50 achievements (59 with DLC) and the road to get there will be tough and time-consuming. Most of the achievements should not be very difficult, but there are a few that will make this a very challenging and lengthy completion that will trouble even those who are skilled at fighting games. This is because in order to get all of the achievements, you will need to beat Score Attack mode (which seems to be even more difficult than Calamity Trigger), reach level 50 online, and finish 100 challenges in the dreaded challenge mode.

This guide will also use numbers and arrows to explain moves and combos.

 ↖7  ↑8  9↗
←4   5   6→
 ↙1  ↓2  3↘

8 will be up, 6 will be right, 2 will be down, 4 will be left etc. 5 will be holding no direction. All moves assume you are on the left side of the screen and that you are using the default controls for the game. Letters will be used to explain moves as well. They will be as follows:

A=
B=
C=
D=

Step 1: Learn to Play the Game
Since this game will require a lot of skill to get all of the achievements, you should get yourself familiar with the game. You should do this even if you have played the first Blazblue since there are some changes to gameplay as mentioned in the introduction. Play through all of the tutorials to learn the controls, then go practice some characters and combos with them in Training mode. The following achievements shall unlock when finished with this step:

  • Ragna Cum Laude
  • I Can Do This All Night

Step 2: Arcade Mode
The next step is to play arcade mode with every character. This is a good opportunity to learn what characters you are best with if you do not know already. You can play on any difficulty you want with almost all of the characters since you will just need to play through them for the Mint Condition, but you will have to play through Arcade mode once on Hell difficulty for Hell Yes. The achievements you should get in this step are the following:

  • Well, It's Something to Do...
  • Tall, Dark, and Handsome
  • Hell Yes

Step 3: Story Mode
Next, you should play through story mode. You will have to play through everyone's story multiple times because a lot of the artwork needed for Mint Condition comes from story mode. There is a guide available to help you get 100% in the story mode for each character. Please see the story mode achievements for more details on that. When you finish the story mode you will have the following achievements:

  • Level One...!
  • That's the End of That Chapter
  • Is...Is That All?
  • All Good Things

Step 4: Legion Mode
Legion Mode is a new mode to Blazblue where your goal is to conquer all of the squares as you go. Since there are three difficulties in this mode, you will have to play through this mode three times because the achievements are not stackable. More information on this mode will be under the Legion mode achievements. After completing Legion mode, you should have these achievements:

  • Napoleon Bonaparte
  • Alexander the Great
  • Genghis Khan

Step 5: Character Achievements
This game has a number of achievements that involve doing various things in a match using a certain character. There are one achievement per character for the ones on disk and two for the DLC characters. These achievements can be done in any mode where you have matches except Training, Story, and possibly Legion. The character achievements and achievements you shall get while going for them if you do not have them already are as follows:

  • I Get Around
  • They Call Me MISTER Tiddles!
  • Well, It's Not!
  • Ice-Ten
  • Are You There God? It's Me, Noel
  • Twirling towards Freedom
  • 1.21 Gigawatts!
  • Taut Taunts
  • Four Sheets to the Wind
  • BEES!
  • Loincloth Festival
  • The Clap
  • You're Already Dead
  • Lamb to the Slaughter
  • For Great Justice
  • Beachball!
  • Murakumo, AWAKEN!
  • Fur and Loathing in Kagutsuchi (Makoto DLC)
  • Oh Nuts (Makoto DLC)
  • Battle Butler (Valkenhayn DLC)
  • Three Wolf Moon (Valkenhayn DLC)
  • For Whom the Bell Tolls (Platinum DLC)
  • With Our Powers Combined! (Platinum DLC)

Step 6: Network Mode
There are many achievements in this game that are online-specific. You will be spending a lot of time in this mode since Ding Ding! is time-consuming and requires you to reach level 50 online. You will also need to play at least 100 matches in both Player Match and Ranked Match. Also, make sure you save at least 20 replays so you can watch them for Rear Window. These achievements are specific to online:

  • I'm on Top of the World!
  • I Can Quit Any Time I Want!
  • Aniki is Watching You
  • Two Men Enter. One Man Leaves.
  • Only the Hard, Only the Strong
  • There Can Be Only One
  • Rear Window
  • Ding!
  • Ding Ding!

Step 7: Score Attack Mode
Score Attack Mode is where you must fight against all of the characters (some which you must face the Unlimited versions of) on a difficulty that is harder than Hell mode. Score Attack is more difficult in Continuum Shift than it was in Calamity Trigger so you will need a good strategy to beat it. More help on this will be under the score attack achievements which are the following:

  • Blood on Your Hands
  • Score!

Step 8: Challenge Mode
Challenge mode is new to Blazblue and is where you must do certain combos with each character. You must do 100 total challenges which will not be an easy task for any means. If you have the DLC characters, you will have to do seven challenges with each of them. Tips on how to complete these challenges will be under the related achievements. The following achievements can be obtained in Challenge mode:

  • Superior State of Mind
  • I Gnu It Was Ewe (Makoto DLC)
  • On Her Ladyship's Secret Service (Valkenhayn DLC)
  • By the Power of Trinity... (Platinum DLC)

Step 9: Mop-Up
The hard achievements are now over! It is now time to finish up any remaining achievements you may have left. Make sure you complete the gallery and do the miscellaneous things required for the other achievements. The achievements that may need to be completed in this step are as follows:

  • Mint Condition
  • Real Ultimate Power
  • It'll Only Hurt for a Minute
  • Don't Touch the Merchandise
  • Hold on Loosely
  • M.C. Hammer
  • You Broke My Heart!
  • Fatality
  • The Better Part of Valor

Conclusion
Blazblue Continuum Shift is going to be a difficult and time-consuming completion because of certain achievements like Superior State of Mind, Score!, and Ding Ding!. However, a majority of the other achievements are not very hard. As long as you persevere and do not give up on getting the achievements, you should be able to get all of the achievements and a new completion!

There are 59 achievements with a total of 1250 points

  • [Arcade / Score Attack] Hold your own against Unlimited Hazama.

Unlimited Hazama will be the last character you fight in Arcade mode with every character except Jin Kisaragi and Hazama. In Score Attack mode, he can be found near the end of the mode (third to last fight). Simply beat Unlimited Hazama for this achievement. This achievement is much easier in Arcade mode since you can set the difficulty to beginner if you feel the need to do so in order to beat him.

  • [Arcade / Score Attack] Put Unlimited Ragna in his place.

Unlimited Ragna will be the last character you fight in Arcade mode if you are using Jin Kisaragi or Hazama. In Score Attack mode, he can be found near the end of the mode (second to last fight). Like the "Well, It's Something to Do..." achievement for beating Unlimited Hazama, you just need to beat Unlimited Ragna to unlock this achievement. You can set the difficulty in Arcade mode to beginner if you feel the need to do so in order to beat him.

  • [Score Attack] Defeat Unlimited Rachel.

Unlimited Rachel is the last opponent you will face in Score Attack mode. She is a very difficult opponent. The strategy used to defeat her will vary depending on which character you are using. For tips on Score Attack, please see the "Score!" achievement.

  • [Story] Watch "Previously on..." and "Opening" in Story Mode.

When you first start Story mode, this will be the first thing you can do. Simply watch both for the achievement.

  • [Story] View any character's canon ending in Story Mode.

In Story mode, all characters have multiple endings. The canon ending for a character is their "true ending". The Story Mode Guide linked below will help you get every character's canon ending as well as their bad endings and funny endings. You will need to get these to 100% story mode, which is necessary for the "Mint Condition" achievement.

    Story Mode Guide is here:
    https://www.xboxachievements.com/f...d.php?t=247691

  • [Tutorial] Finish all your homework.

This achievement is unlocked by finishing all of the lessons in Tutorial mode that are under Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. You do not need to complete any the character tutorials for this achievement.
NOTE: After beating the last advanced tutorial, the screen may turn black and your Xbox will freeze if this happens. Simply turn your Xbox off and on if this happens and try again. If this issue still persists, you should clear your cache as this will most likely solve the problem.

  • [Challenge] Beat more than 100 challenges.

In Challenge mode, you will have to perform certain combos with every character. There are ten challenges you can complete for each character and a total of 150 challenges (or 180 challenges with DLC) in the game. This achievement will require you to do a majority of them. The challenges can be dreadful, especially for people who are not experts at fighting games, because they require very precise timing and the combos themselves can be very lengthy. You will need a lot of patience and preserving to unlock this achievement.

If you find that a combo in one of the challenges is too long, you can try breaking it up into different parts. Learn parts of the combo and practice all of the parts until you can do them. Then, try doing the first part and when you have the last hit make sure you pause. Gather your thoughts for a moment and run the second part through your head, then unpause and immediately do the second part of the combo.

If you want to see a visual of the challenges being done to see what the combos in challenge mode are supposed to look at, VesperArcade has an excellent playlist that has a video for each character's challenges. It can be viewed here:
    https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list...A&feature=plcp

The Blazblue Continuum Shift II patch (Version 1.03) also changes the challenges 3-10 for most, if not all, of the characters. If you are having trouble with certain challenges, you can change to and from 1.03 to an earlier version like 1.02 to change what the challenge is. To do this, go to options, system options, and then system version.

If you have questions about a specific challenge, the Challenge Mode Help Thread from PS3Trophies has a lot of answers that may be able to help you:
    https://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/bla...-thread-q.html

The following characters are recommended to try using for this achievement:

    • Ragna (Challenges 1-8)
    • Noel (Challenges 1-8)
    • Rachel (Her challenges are easy if you can understand how to control the wind)
    • Taokaka (All Challenges on both sets)
    • Tager (All Challenges, but Challenge 9 on Version 1.03 is impossible due to a glitch)
    • Litchi (Challenges 1-7)
    • Arakune (All Challenges, although Challenges 9 and 10 may be troublesome because of the Bug Loop timing)
    • Bang (All Challenges as long as you are comfortable with his air dash kick)
    • Lambda (All Challenges, the set of challenges before Version 1.03 are easier)
    • Hazama
    • DLC characters (Makoto, Valkenhayn, and Platinum)

Credit to Cantz for providing the above character list.

  • [Legion] Conquer the map on "Easy."

You have to beat Legion mode on Easy difficulty for this achievement. In this mode, you start off with a character and select a square. You have to battle all enemies in that square and then if you win, you can select one of the enemies you battled against to join you. Take notice of enemy bonuses that are earned after defeating a group of enemies. These bonuses can grant various things like restoring character health and making nearby enemies weaker. The health you have remaining after a fight stays with you, so you want to be careful of how much health your characters have. If a character loses all of their health, you will lose them and have to use another character for the remainder of the fight. Your characters will regain a sliver of health after every battle you win. Your goal in Legion mode is to conquer all of the squares. I recommend starting of with your best character, and always picking your best character or an Unlimited character when you are choosing a character to recruit to your army. You can also save during Legion mode so make sure you save often incase you end up losing a fight.

  • [Legion] Conquer the map on "Normal."

You have to beat Legion mode on Normal difficulty for this achievement. Please see the "Napoleon Bonaparte" achievement for information on Legion mode and tips on beating it.

  • [Legion] Conquer the map on "Hard."

You have to beat Legion mode on Hard difficulty for this achievement. Please see the "Napoleon Bonaparte" achievement for information on Legion mode and tips on beating it.

  • [Player Match] Earn your first victory.

Simply play a player match and win it to unlock this achievement.

  • [Player Match] Win more than 100 matches.

The description for this achievement is inaccurate. You only need to play 100 player matches to unlock it; you do not have to win 100 matches. To make these matches go faster, you can set them to be only one round. If you need a person to fight against for player matches, please check out the Achievement Trading Thread which is linked here:
    https://www.xboxachievements.com/f...d.php?t=211887

  • [Player Match] Observe more than 10 matches.

For this achievement, you have to watch 10 matches as a spectator. To be a spectator, you can either join a player match by hitting the  or you will automatically be a spectator if you are already in a match with at least two other people if it is not your turn to play. This achievement shall unlock after seeing the tenth match.

  • [Ranked Match] Earn your first victory.

Simply play a ranked match and win for this achievement.

  • [Ranked Match] Fight more than 100 battles.

For this achievement, you just need to simply play 100 ranked matches. Once you finish 100 battles, this achievement shall unlock.

  • [Gallery] Collect all of the...collectibles.

This achievement is obtained by unlocking everything in the Gallery. Items in the gallery are unlocked in many ways. Some things that will unlock the collectibles include:

    • Arcade Mode- Beat it with every character.
    • Story Mode-Complete it 100%. Please see the "That's the End of That Chapter" achievement for more information on story mode. You will also need to answer all of the "Teach Me, Miss Litchi" questions correctly. These episodes can be found under story mode. The questions are very simple and you should have no issue answering them as long as you pay some attention to the segments.
    • Challenge Mode- Two pictures will unlock when you complete 20% of the challenges (not including DLC characters) and two more unlock at 50% of challenge mode completed (also not including DLC characters).
    • Getting several other achievements.

NOTE: After earning achievements, make sure you go back to the title screen and let the game save so all of the pictures that you unlock with that achievement save. If the pictures do not save, you will have to redo the achievement in order to re-unlock it.

  • Use every single character.

For this achievement, you will need to use all characters that are unlocked for this achievement. You do not have to use Mu or any of the DLC characters to get this achievement.

  • Use an Astral heat for the very first time.

The conditions to perform an Astral Heat have changed since the previous Blazblue game. The new requirements are that your character must have one unused Break Burst, the opponent's health needs to be 20% or under (they should have an orange health bar), your Heat gauge needs to be full, and it must be the round before you win the match. It is best to perform the Astral Heat in Versus mode or Network mode since there seems to be issues with them counting for the achievements in the other modes. The Astral Heat inputs for every character can be found below:

    • Ragna the Bloodedge (2141236C/ ↓?←?↓?→)
    • Jin Kisaragi (charge 2, 8D/ charge↓,↑)
    • Noel Vermillion (214214C/↓?←↓?←)
    • Rachel Alucard (222B/↓↓↓)
    • Taokaka (charge 4, 128D/charge←,?↓↑)
    • Iron Tager (1080°D/1080°)
    • Litchi Faye-Ling (place rod with D, then 63214A, D/place rod with ,→?↓?←)
    • Arakune (632146D/→?↓?←→)
    • Bang Shishigami (jump, then 6321463214D/jump, →?↓?←→?↓?←)
    • Carl Clover (64641236D/→←→←?↓?→)
    • Hakumen (charge 2, 8D/charge↓,↑)
    • Lambda 11 (222D/↓↓↓)
    • Hazama (1,63214,3D/ ?,→?↓?←,?)
    • Tsubaki Yayoi (632146D/→?↓?←→)
    • Mu 12 (222D/↓↓↓)
    • Makoto Nanaya (2363214D/↓?→?↓?←)
    • Valkenhayn R Hellsing (214214C/↓?←↓?←)
    • Platinum the Trinity (236236C/↓?→↓?→)
  • Used every character's Astral Heat.

    (2)

You will need to use the Astral Heat ofevery character that is unlocked from the start of the game for this achievement. Please see the "They Call Me MISTER Tiddles!" achievement for the Astral inputs of every character. You do not have to perform Mu's Astral or that of any DLC characters for this achievement.

  • Your first Guard Crush.

To perform a Guard Crush, the opponent needs to lose all of their Guard Primers. This is something new to Blazblue and the guard primers can be found for each character near the timer. Some characters have many Guard Primers like Iron Tager, where others only have a few like Noel Vermillion. To make an opponent lose a Guard Primer, you have to use certain moves that take away Guard Primers while they are guarding. Some moves that do this are Ragna's 2D/↓ and Jin's "Rehhyou" attack (623C/→↓?) The easiest way to get this achievement is to just use one of these attacks on a character with a low number of Guard Primers (like Noel for example) until the Guard Crush is performed and your achievement unlocks.

  • Instant Block more than 20 times in one round.

    (2)

An Instant Block is when you block an attack right before it is about you. If performed correctly, your character should turn white for a second. You will need to do this 20 times in one round for this achievement.

  • Cause more than 30 Throw Reject Misses.

A Throw Reject Miss will happen when the opponent is trying to attack you, but your attack hits them first and then you have to grab them (BC/). You will need to do this 30 times for the achievement. If you are having trouble understanding what exactly a Throw Reject Miss is or would like to see what it looks like, the following video will be very helpful (starting at 2:53):
Blazblue: Continuum Shift: Xzeno Tutorial! The Clap, Hold on Loosely & Achievements for Makoto - YouTube

  • Escape more than 5 throws in one round.

When your opponent grabs you in a throw, an exclamation point shall show up. Quickly press (BC/) when this occurs and you should escape your opponent's throw. Do this 5 times in one round for your achievement.

  • Finish an opponent immediately after a normal Break Burst.

Break Bursts are the replacement of Barrier Bursts from Blazblue Calamity Trigger. Unlike the previous game, there is no penalty for using them (except the green burst will reduce your Guard Primers by half for the round) and you use them by hitting (ABCD/). You get one Break Burst at the start of the match and you can get a second one if you loose a round. There are two different types of Break Bursts. The one that you need to use for this achievement is called the "Gold Break Burst" and happens when you are not defending yourself at the time you use the burst. To get this achievement, get the opponent's health to be extremely low, use the Break Burst and then follow up with any move you would like.

  • Land more than 30 Fatal Counters.

Fatal Counters happen when you use certain attacks to counter the opponent and let you perform combos that will inflict more damage than a normal counter would. You will need to do this 30 times for the achievement and it shall unlock naturally as you work towards other achievements. If this does not unlock naturally for you, use Rachel's 4C/← to counter your opponent until it unlocks.

  • Do not take damage for 20 seconds while in Negative State, and win the round.

    (3)

To enter the Negative State, simply back away from the opponent for a short distance as they approach you. Stay in this state and do not let the opponent attack you at all for at least 20 seconds, and this achievement should automatically unlock when the match ends.

  • Using Ragna, land "Not Over Yet" more than three times during a match.

The input for Ragna's "Not Over Yet" attack is 22C/↓↓. However, in order to perform this attack, the opponent must be down on the ground. Use 3C to get them on the ground and then follow up with the 22C/↓↓. Do this 3 times in a match for your achievement.

  • Using Jin, freeze your opponent more than 10 times during a match.

Jin has many attacks that will freeze opponents. Any attack with D/ in it should be able to freeze them like D/, 2D/↓, 4D/←, and 8D/↑ should do the trick. Simply use these moves 10 times in a match for this to unlock.

  • Using Noel, hit the opponent with her "Silencer" more than 10 times during a match.

The input for Noel's "Silencer" attack is 22C/↓↓. Like the "Well, It's Not!" achievement, the opponent must be on the ground for this attack to work. Get the opponent on the ground with 3C and then follow up with 22C/↓↓. Do this 10 times in a match for your achievement.

  • Using Rachel, land a "6C" attack more than 30 times during a match.

Simply use Rachel's 6C/→ attack 30 times in a match. This attack does very little damage so it should be a very easy achievement.

  • Using Tager, land "Spark Bolt" more than five times during a match.

The input for Tager's "Spark Bolt" attack is 41236D/←?↓?→. You need to have a full Electric Gauge in order to use this attack. Since Spark Bolt uses up the entire Electric Gauge, you will need to wait for it to refill before using it again. To make it fill up faster, you can spam Tager's "Voltic Charge" move (214D/↓?←).

  • Using Taokaka, land 5 taunts over the course of a match.

To use a taunt, press . When doing this with Taokaka, you will be able to damage the opponent. Simply do this 5 times for the achievement.

  • Using Litchi, land "Four Winds" more than 4 times during the course of a match.

The input for Litchi's "Four Winds" attack is 41236D/←?↓?→. You must have her rod placed on the ground first which can be done with D/. Once the rod is placed, execute the input. Do this 4 times in a match for your achievement.

  • BEES!

    20

Using Arakune, unleash a 70-hit combo.

    (6)

To get this achievement, first get a 100% Heat Gauge. Then, grab your opponent (BC/) to get them in the air and then quickly do Arakune's "f inverse" distortion (236236C/↓?→↓?→). Get ready to do it again right after the first one ends to continue the combo. The whole combo should be like this:
    BC,236236C,236236C/,↓?→↓?→,↓?→↓?→
NOTE: The combo number must be red in order for it to count. If the combo number goes blue at any time, you will have to try again.

  • Using Bang, land a total of 3 Astral Heats.

    (1)

For this achievement, you need to perform an Astral Heat three times with Bang Shishigami. The input for his Astral Heat is jump, then 6321463214D/jump, →?↓?←→?↓?←
The conditions needed to use it are explained under the "The Call Me MISTER Tiddles!" achievement.

  • Using Carl, keep an opponent airborne for more than 7 seconds.

    (2)

In order to pull of this combo, you will need your Heat Gauge at 100%. Once it is filled, move your opponent into a corner and hit 2C/↓, then 8D/↑, do Carl's "Laetabilis Cantata" distortion (632146C/→?↓?←→), perform the distortion again right after the first one, and then follow that with a Break Burst(ABCD/). The whole combo together should go like this:
    2C/↓, 8D/↑, 632146C/→?↓?←→, 632146C/→?↓?←→, ABCD/
If you would like to see exactly how this is done, please refer to the video under the "Hold On Loosely" achievement. Starting at 2:00 in the video, this combo is explained.

  • Using Hakumen, dish out over 10,000 damage in one combo.

    (1)

This is the same achievement from Blazblue Calamity Trigger but luckily it's much easier to do this time. First, make sure you have 4 magatama available to use. Have your opponent go into the Negative State first; getting into this state is described under the "The Better Part of Valor" achievement. Next, have your opponent do into the Danger State as well; this will happen when the opponent uses up their entire Barrier Gauge. Now, perform Hakumen's "Kokuujin: Shippu" distortion (632146C/→?↓?←→) but make sure you hold onto the C/ so the attack charges completely. This should do at least 10,000 damage and unlock the achievement if done correctly.

  • Using Lambda, land a 50-hit combo.

    (2)

This combo required for this achievement is very similar to the one required in Blazblue Calamity Trigger. First, make sure you have 100% Heat. When that is accomplished, use Lambda's "Legacy Edge" distortion (236236D/↓?→↓?→) and quickly use it again after the first one finishes so you do not loose the combo. Get close to the opponent after this and spam C/. If you are having difficulty, you can try getting your opponent against the wall and use a big character as your opponent like Tager. The whole combo should go like this:
    236236D/↓?→↓?→, 236236D/↓?→↓?→, spam C/
NOTE: The combo number must be red in order for it to count. If the combo number goes blue at any time, you will have to try again.

  • Using Tsubaki, use the "D" version of every single special attack in a combo.

You must get you Heat Gauge up to at least 50% before attempting this combo as well as have your charge meter full (hold D/ to fill the meter). When you meet both of these, use Tsubaki's "Macto Maledictis" distortion (214214D/↓?←↓?←) quickly followed by "Benedictus Rex (623D/→?↓), "Aequum Eleison" (jump 236D/jump↓?→), "Lux Aeterna" (jump 214D/jump↓?←), "Sanctus Aequum" (236D/↓?→), "Sanctus Veritas" (214D/↓?←), and "Sanctus Decus" (22D/↓↓). All together it should be like this:
    214214D/↓?←↓?←, 623D/→?↓, jump↓?→, jump↓?←, 236D/↓?→, 214D/↓?←, 22D/↓↓
NOTE: The combo number must be red in order for it to count. If the combo number goes blue at any time, you will have to try again.

The video below (starting at 3:15) will show you what this combo should look like.

Secret achievements

  • [Arcade] Completed Arcade Mode on "Hell" difficulty setting.

For this achievement you have to beat Arcade mode on Hell difficulty. To make this quicker for you, you can set the rounds to one round per match. I recommend using your best character for this achievement.

  • Score!

    40

[Score Attack] Beat Score Attack mode.

Score Attack returns in this installment of Blazblue and it comes back even harder than the previous game. There are 14 opponents in Score Attack mode you must fight against that are set on a difficulty harder than Hell, and the last four are particularly dreadful because they are in their Unlimited versions. The last four in order are Unlimited Hakumen, Unlimited Hazama, Unlimited Ragna, and Unlimited Rachel.

To make this a little easier, you can try using the second controller trick when you are about to die. First, you should go to settings and set the arcade settings so that the difficulty is beginner, each round is only 30 seconds and that there is only one round. Have some type of second controller connected to the Xbox; it can be any type of controller from a normal controller to something like a guitar or a drum. Play through score attack as you normally would, and if you feel like you are about to die and lose a match, hit the  on the second controller. Now, you are going to have to fight a character which you should beat very quickly thanks to the settings you were supposed to change earlier. After this match, you can continue Score Attack and redo the match you were about to die during. This trick can be used as often as you would like so do not be afraid to use it if you feel like you are about to lose a match.

One strategy to beat Score Attack mode is to use Jin. If the enemy is far away from you, use his Hishoken attack (236B/↓?→) and use Musou Senshozan (aka Ice Car, 214C/↓?←) if the enemy is close. You can also try throwing them occasionally to freeze them for a few seconds. However, you must be careful with using some of these moves against certain opponents. For example, you should use Hishoken a lot and not use Ice Car often in the match against Unlimited Hakumen because he can counter the Ice Car attack.
Another strategy is to choose Tager because he has the most health. His Gigantic Tager drive (360°B/360°) causes a lot of damage so you can try spamming this attack against your opponents.

For more in-depth character specific strategies for Score Attack mode, please check out the Score Attack Strategy Guide from PS3Trophies:

Below are some general tips to follow for Score Attack. Thank you Cantz for the information!

    • Block often and use pause buffers to look for openings to attack
    • Beware of Unlimited Hazama's life-sucking ring! Stay away from it unless you know you can get a good hit
    • Do not play offensive against Unlimited Rachel unless you know you are going to get a hit because she will not let you get close to her easily
    • Avoid being near an opponent who is about to wake up without blocking because you will be punished for it
    • Use combos that will do a decent amount of damage and that you can perform consistently
    • Know your character well and practice a lot with them
    • Pay attention to how the opponent acts during the match; each character tends to do things continuously throughout the match
  • [Story] Unlocked the True Ending in Story mode.

The True Ending in Story mode will unlock as you complete other character's Story modes. For more information, please see the "That's the End of That Chapter" achievement for a Story mode guide.

  • [Story] Finished the True Ending in Story mode.

You need to finish the True Ending in Story mode for this achievement. This is very linear so just simply just go through the fights to get to the ending. If you need more information, please see the "That's the End of That Chapter" achievement for the Story mode guide.

  • [Training] Practiced for over one hour straight.

For this achievement, you need to be in Training mode for an hour straight. This should be very easy to get, but make sure you are moving around for the whole hour or else it will not unlock.

  • [Network] Fought against every character.

For this achievement, you need to face every character. This shall unlock naturally as you go for the other online achievements.

  • [Replay Theater] Watched replays of more than 20 different matches.

Before you can watch replays, you will need to save some. When you finish a game in Network mode, the game should ask you if you want to save a replay so you can save your own matches for this. You can also find replays to save by getting them off of the leaderboards if you need to. Simply watch 20 replays for this achievement. You can fast-forward through them if you want to do so.
