Killed a flying enemy with a thrown Tediore weapon
Tediore weapons have a special ability that each time you reload, your character will automatically throw the weapon (don't worry it'll come back to you) wherever you're currently aiming. Doing so and hitting any enemy with it, will cause a small amount of damage. So with that in mind, you'll first need to find/purchase a Tediore weapon, have it equip and then you'll need to search for any flying enemy.
The best enemy to try this on is a Rakk as they take one hit from the thrown weapon. Plus you're in luck as they're right at the start of the game in Southern Shelf. So either do some of the side mission and hope you get a Tediore gun as loot, or buy one from the town.
Once you've got one, head open area just outside of the town and you'll see some Rakk flying about. Simply take a shot at them and they'll start to fly towards you. As one gets close, tap to reload and hopefully you'll hit one of them. If not, just rinse and repeat until you do.
the more ammo in the clip, the bigger/stronger the explosion, so can't be too hard in the respect, the hard thing would be to get the aim right to actually hit the flying enemy.... especially if it's anything like a Rakk!
Tediores fairely common to find. The throw does more damage the more ammo is left in the clip. Beware though that this also uses up the ammo that's left in the clip. I got lucky with this achievement and threw a corrosive Tediore at a buzzard.
This Achievement took me maybe 30 seconds to get, super easy IMO.
Just go to Sothern Shelf and start messing with the birds that are flying around.Once the bird/s start flying in at you just reload your weapon while aimed at them.
I went to the gun shop in town and bought a crappy Tediore pistol. Then went out to the open frozen over water area and shot one or two shots at the birds and then waited for them to attack me.Took me only two reloads to get this.I then went back into town and sold back the pistol.
I got it just playing normally and a rakk happened to fly in front of me as I was reloading an exploding gun... I don't understand why achievements that clearly state EXACTLY what to do have so many comments here... What else could "kill something with a thrown Tediore weapon" possibly mean? Come on people... =P
