|Ding! Overleveled to 11||40|
|Reach Level 61|
This is the highest you can get your level to legitimately. Getting there will require you to accumulate 5985083 total experience. Though this may sound like a lot, there's more than enough experience available in this DLC to make it there. Any experience earned from the original game or other DLCs count towards you experience total. Therefore if you haven't completed missions from those stories feel free to do so once download this DLC. With completing missions and killing enemies, you should level up very quickly. If you want to really expedite the process though, you could try to join a group killing Crawmerax as that boss and his minions give boat loads of XP.

If you are looking at this then clearly you have the secret armory DLC. There are many ways i found that are actually a great help to level up.
Technique 1: Secret armory DLC required
One way, and the way i use the most is, use a monster, and from long range, kill drifters on playthrough two, which will give you 15,000 xp each.
Technique 2: Secret armory DLC required
Another way is to keep killing general knoxx as he respawns.
Technique 3: Robot revolution DLC required
For this, you would of needed to finish this DLC. What you need to do is go back and kill all the boss traps over and over. General knoxx trap etc. And that will give you something like 80,000 xp.
Technique 4: No DLC required
You need to progress far enough in the game to gain access to the trash coast. You

Easiest way to achieve this without going through any of the above... Join a level 69 Players game. I went from level 47 - 54 in a space of an hour. It'll save you hours and hours and hours of playthrough!?

The best way of doing this, get a friend with a modded gun/shield, or a high level, and go through the Eradian Prominitory on Playthrough 2 and just farm EXP like that

Although these are all great suggestions (I personally farmed xp from drifters) it should be mentioned that after you hit level 61 all enemies in all dlcs level up with you. I saved and quit and when I came back knoxx and the lance troops were level 58. When I quit they were 51. Knoxx was now ten levels higher than when I beat him. Zombies and minac also leveled up. Should be fun when I start the dome dlc.

Forgot to mention that while battling 2 jet pack lance troops I killed one and leveled up and watched the level change on the other. Is this just a glitch or has this happened to anyone else?

once you have completed the game on playthrough 2 everything you kill nets you more EXP.
either keep going in and out of crawmerax's lair killing him over and over,
or keep going through the eridian promintary killing all gaurdians. this is an easy and fast way to level up and to raise gun proficiency levels. remember this is
best done on what is considered playthrough 2.5. also there are class mods and/or
action skill attributes that will add or increase the amount of EXP. aquired when killing enemies.

Joining an online game is the easiest way to get experiance, You put in no work and get the shared xp from other users in the game. Still a massive grind though.

I agree with Dez, Killing Drifters in the Secret Armory DLC is the fastest and easiest way to get XP. You get nearly 10,000 XP for killing a drifter and you get nearly 40,000 XP for killing Skyscraper (the "king" of the drifters). They only take about 6 shots from the monster to kill so they die incredibly fast.

On playthrough 2.5 solo I went to the Eridian Promentory? place and farmed Xp there. from level 54 to lvl 69. I tried co-op splitscreen with another account(lvl 15 character) and the enemies were hard to kill with crappy weapons.
-Use some shock weapons to take down their shield and fire away at their low amount of health. (apply shock artifact on your action skill maybe)? :D
-Arch Guardians just stand there and don't attack unless you get close, so they can be taken out from far away(sniper to the head).
-Principal Guardians are hard to hit, always strafing left & right really quickly but any close range wep would do the trick. Tapping left trigger with aim assist on helped me a bit too.
-Sera Guardians, the ones that fly up high and shoot beams at you. Crouching behind cover & t
