|Complete "Operation 40," "Vorkuta," and "Executive Order" on Veteran difficulty.|
You must complete “Operation 40”, “Vortuka” and “Executive Order“ on Veteran difficulty. Please refer to "Black Op Master" for tips.
“Executive Order” on Veteran is one of the most difficult missions, since there is a point where you must fight against infinite respawns. Below is a video to help.

Read this for a guide on Executive Order
Ok, we all know that last tunnel is a total bitch right, on level 4? yea....
You start the mission with a bunch of smoke gernades and noraml lethal gernades. DO NOT USE THEM, save them for the last tunnel.
When you get to that anoying tunnel with the infinite amount of soliders, throw one smoke down the hallway near the yellow truck looking machine. Move behind that yellow machine, and your two friendly npcs will move up towards you. Look strait to your left, and there will be a small opening spot where you can hide. Go in this spot. You should have a view of an open door that leads into another room on the right side of the hallway. Throw a smoke near that door.
Directly inside this new room on the right of the tunnel, there will b

I started the game on Veteran to begin with. Did right up to "the corridor"
on the fourth level. Couldn't do it so dropped it to Hardened and did the rest of the campaign on Hardened.
Just come back and done it on Veteran and didn't get the achievement.
Do they therefore have to be completed in order? or is this a glitch?

Then I came back to it about 2 weeks later and in couple attempts I finished the mission but didn't get any fucking achievement! any ideas why it doesn't work? would it be affected by someone importing a gt to my console or by connecting an extra controller as a guest? or is it just another fucking glitch that Treyarch didn't fix? ok my two cents...i was playing this game for all acheivements. i beat the first two missions with no issues on veteran. i get to that same last part of this mission and keep saving and quitting(and each time it would start me right where i left off) bu on time i go to play it and im feeling good so i throw the disc in and start up the level from that point. i didnt take any damage getting too the door using the smoke trick mentioned. i didnt get the acheivement. the next level starts and i go to check the difficulty and the game magically reset the difficulty down to medium and i have never picked up the gane to play campaign since. thats my story.

PROTIP: Once you get to the last set of tunnels (just past the room with the desks and glass offices), lay prone as you move down the hallway - they have a LOT harder time hitting you, especially if you lay down cover fire every few seconds. Then, when you can cross into the room on the right, throw in a smoke grenade and kill everybody in there with either a shotgun or a grenade launcher. Stick around in that room for awhile, and eventually you trigger a checkpoint (although I'm not sure what does it - took me a couple tries of eventually surviving in that room for it to happen). From that point on, it only took me like three or four tries to finish the level.

Saturday, January 22, 2011 @ 08:42:49 PM
Is it just me or does every single COD game seem to be lacking refinement? I mean a simple tracker showing what difficulty level you've completed each mission on is not too much to ask for. Bungie's been doing it since the original Halo. And no multiplayer stat tracker either? Seriously, treyarch needs to step it up. This glitched achievement bullshit was the straw that broke the camels back for me, never again wasting my money on a piece of treyarch garbage thinking 'this one will be better'.

The tunnels are seriously a pain in the ass. Basically, what helped me out was to save my smoke grenades until the very last section. When you're crossing the hallway to go through the main control room, and again when you're crossing back through the locker room. Use tons of ammo and frags; those you can refill a lot. It's also a good idea, depending on playing style, to have an ak with a grenade launcher. Use those to clear large sections of the hallways at once, specifically to advance. Don't get hunkered down too long or concentrate on one group too much. Tons of these dudes infinitely respawn (as stated in the guide), so kill em, then advance.

Quick Tips to get past:
The game almost rewards you for running and gunning. If you sit still and try to firefight with them, they'll cap you almost everytime. If you charge in, running, not using iron sights, you'll often catch them off guard and hiding behind objects. When you get to the hallway where they all are after you clear the room with the computers, toss one smoke, wait, then charge in towards the left where there is a corner to hide behind, then bounce a smoke further down off the wall, and toss the other two smokes in different directions. Make sure you have a full clip of ammo, then run down to the room on the right, knifing or shooting enemies coughing. In the room, run to the far right, killing whoever is in your way. work your way to the back of the room. Toss a grenade

My tunnel strategy was to grab an AK with extended mag.
The best way to get through is to learn the movements and
come around the corners shooting. Don't forget to dive to prone often.
Other than that, just be smart and be quick.

Tuesday, December 13, 2011 @ 06:54:37 AM
The end of executive order is the hard part. Flush out the first two enemies with a frag grenade, since the min you turn that first corner they'll kill you as there is no cover for you.
In the computer room use cover and move from right to left. Pick up an AK. Use smoke bombs for cover in the tunnel, keep an eye out for grenades. You might get lucky and get through without smoke bombs, but the most consistent, smart way to do this is with smoke bombs.
I was just starting out at COD when I first tried this and it took me 8 hours. When I finally beat it I was a better player. Now I can one-shot this. Don't give up and don't throw your controllers.

it's executive order and vorkuta that are the hardest. The only part that's really hard on Vorkuta is when you must run benhind the Coal cart. If you get there before Reznov and his large friend, they push you out into the side of the map, which is frustrating. I kept trying this, but eventually rage quit it. that, aand executive order are the hardest

It took some solid playing and a lot of dying but did it in a few hours. I chose new game for the veteran play, the achievement dropped. They may have fixed the bug.

I was dreading trying to tackle this one, but I got it after about 25 deaths or maybe it was 50. I wasn't really counting. I just finished NOVA on veteran and I have found the hallway part on executive order to be the hardest in this game thus far.

I was about ready to put my controller through the TV screen on Executive Order. I just watched videos on YouTube to see that it could be done, learned some tactics, and then died a few hundred times trying it before I finally got it.

I remember trying 'that bit' a year or so ago for over 2 hours. Came back to it tonight and did it on my 3rd go. Feels good bro.
