Introduction:
Crazy Taxi is here, the classic arcade game finally arrived on the Xbox 360 for 800 MS points. Speed, Time and Money is all that counts. So, it’s time to make some crazy money….are you ready?

Breakdown:
Most if not all achievements are easy to get, players who have played the original game will have no problem gaining all 200 points within 2 hours. New players will have some problems with the Crazy Box Stages but some YouTube video’s, persistence and knowledge of the game mechanics will guide you through them without stressing out too much.

Arcade and Original Modes:
No problems here, both modes hold 4 achievements each ranging from 5 to 20GS and all of them can be achieved within 45 minutes - 1 hour if you know how to play. The only difference bewteen both modes is the city you're playing in. The achievements don’t stack, you need to get each license individually to get each achievement. For the A and S Class licenses you can start up a 10 minute game, for the B license a 5 minute game and a 3 minute game for the last C license.

Crazy Box Stages:
This is the mode that would cause problems for some, 16 levels of tutorials on steroids averaging from 10 seconds to 3 minutes. You can obtain 4 achievements worth 100 GS in this game mode.

The early stages are all easy and by pressing start you’ll see what you need to do and need to know to succeed. Your ranking doesn’t matter, all you need to do is to complete the stage (most of them within the time limit) to proceed to the next level. My advice would be to save this game mode until you’ve achieved all arcade and original mode achievements. Just don't forget to press start before you start up a stage, sometimes the pop up holds valuable information.

Conclusion:
An easy and very fast 200 GS game that’s a trip down memory lane for some and a good and hopefully a fun challenge for a few.

Good Luck earning money, getting licenses and beating the crazy box stages.

The Crazy Box Stages are 16 stages that will test your skills, you need to be good at boosting and drifting to complete all 16 of them. By pressing start while highlighting a stage will pop up a window with some good info and a short explanation of what to do. There's no need to reach the top spot in any of the stages, you just need to finish the stage within the time or score limit.

Amacteur has found some helpful YouTube video's in this post

To beat them all you need to have patience, none of them are difficult if you know how to perform the crazy dash, the crazy drift and the crazy stop. Remember that your car doesn't have to be completely in the green pick up/drop off box, one small inch is enough to pick up or drop off costumers.

The Crazy Bowling is probably the only stage that will cause some problems for a few. Don't go head on towards the bowling pins, always try to hit the outer row of pins while performing a crazy dash. Hopefully this way you'll hit all the pins and it's easier to get back on track again.

Good skills to know:

Crazy Dash

Control Set Up A:
Let go of
Press  (to go into reverse)
Press  (to go back into drive again) and press  a fraction later

Control Set Up B (recommended)
Let go of
Press  (to go into reverse)
Press  (to go back into drive again) and press  a fraction later

This move can be done while driving to give you a 2-3 seconds boost, best to use this all the time while driving and after picking up/dropping off costumers.

Crazy Stop

Go into reverse and press the brake button to come to a quick stop. It's helpful to pick up and drop of costumers quickly.

Crazy Drift

With the brake
Press and hold the brake button
Go into reverse
Quickly go back into drive while steering left or right

Without the brake
Go into reverse
Quickly go back into drive while steering left or right
It's harder to recover after a crazy drift like this but it's easier to pull off.

Great for quick corners without losing too much speed, a must to master if you want to complete the later crazy box stages.

Original A-license15
You have got A class license in Original mode. (3)

Please see "Original S-License" achievement description.

Original B-license10
You have got B class license in Original mode. (2)

Please see "Original S-License" achievement description.

Original C-license5
You have got C class license in Original mode. (1)

Please see "Original S-License" achievement description.

Original S-license20
You have got S class license in Original mode. (2)

Several playthroughs needed, each license needs to be separately done in one game.

You'll need to following amount of money to reach each license

C class license $2000 - $2.999
B class license $3000 - $3.999
A class license $4000 - $4.999
S class license $5000 - $9.999

If you go over $9.999 you'll gain the Awesome and even Crazy! Licenses (if you go over $20.000).
None of them will give you an achievement, not even the S class license achievement. The game probably thinks you're too good for the S class achievement if you can get higher ratings. To gain an achievement your total should be between the set amount of that license, i.e. between $5000 - $9.999 will get you the S class license but if you already have that achievement you won't get the A class license or lower if you get that "score" again.

You could play by arcade rules to gain the achievements but it's faster and easier to play 10, 5 and 3 minute games to get each achievement. Four 10 minute games are more than enough to get the S and A class licenses in both modes, Two 5 Minute games are enough to get both B class licenses and for the final 2 C licenses you can play a 3 minute game.

The only thing you need to know is that you can get extra money by performing crazy jumps, crazy drifts and near misses but it's hardly worth the risk because in 10 minutes you should have no problem getting more than $5000 for a S class license.
