Damage Inc.: Pacific Squadron WWII Achievements

Final Revenge

Kill Kenji Kamoto (Singleplayer or Co-Op).

This is story related and cannot be missed.
This achievement is available to acquire in the final mission, mission 20.

At the very end of the mission you will be challenged to a one-on-one dogfight against the person you need to complete your revenge. This fight is the hardest out of the lot of them due to one reason; he will stick to your back as hard as he can. You will have to outmanoeuvre him to get your shots on. Providing you can stick behind him even if you are not getting many shots off, it means he cannot hit you. So just keep hitting those few shots at a time until he is down.

The two tactics for these are to either follow the pilot until he goes outward to try to get on your six, or you could fly out yourself and hopefully will not get followed so when you turn around you can cause some real damage.

The achievement will unlock once the enemy Ace is down.

This fight is very easy if you use a plan loaded with x10 rockets such as the P-47 or P-38. If you head straight at the boss and activate Reflex mode just before you enter gun range to precisely aim at him, you can empty all your rockets and gun shots into the boss. Using this, I was able to take off about 85-90% of his health in the one head-on pass; if you can land all the rockets, it might even be possible to kill him in one go with this method. If you break away and start turning after your rockets launch, you can easily get on his tail as he speeds past you, at which point you can continue unloading on him to take out the rest of his health. I was able to kill him in about 30 seconds using this technique, including the time in reflex mode.
