Ragdoll Check Achievement in Dead Space

  • Ragdoll Check

    5

Force an enemy into a Gravity Panel 5 times

  • How to unlock Ragdoll Check

During chapter 4 you will come to a room with many panels that are missing, they have blue lines coming from them. Do not step on them as it will instantly kill you. You need to get monsters on them and kill them with it, and you will get the achievement. To do this have your Stasis gauge full, hit them with Stasis and then push them by walking into them with your body until they fly up and die. Make sure you don't go with them otherwise you die. You should have just enough enemies, if you do happen to run out and still don't have the achievement, there will be a few more panels on chapter 9.

  • You have to make a conscious effort to get this achievement. I found using "Stasis" then slowly walk and push then enemy into the panel. SLOWLY!
  • just get one of those sythe armed ones to one side and you stand on the other side of the panel. Then the two of you play ring around the rosie for about 30 seconds the alein will get impatient jump at you.
  • Actually you don't have to make an effort for this. I got it just standing around. The stupid aliens walk into them on their own.
  • ease you only have to push 5 enemys
  • Got this on first play though. As long as you stand on the other side of the panel, the necros will walk/run into it 90% of the time.
  • I actually got this achievement by accident. The area where the open vents are introduced, I just kept dying and on my 5th death, that lil lurker came around and died by itself. Likely one of my most favorite achievements. :D
  • same here, I "manualy" forced only one in, the example one(idk if that one counts), ring around the rosie with one, threw some dead bodies in idk if that counts, and the last one idk where it was or what but i heard the squash sound and the achievement poped up lol
  • Chapter 4 http://www.visualwalkthroughs.com/deadspace/obliteration/29.jpg Basically just use the stasis and keep pushing them around, just be careful not to step onto the gravity panel yourself. Also, there are two stasis-refill within that proximity--and that room gives you enough more than 5 enemies.
  • There are at least 2 rooms in Chapter 4 with these gravity panels. The first one has 6 enemies in it, and yes the "example" enemy that walks into it to demonstrate it's effect does count. But if you don't manage it in that room, the second room is on the first floor, you have to go there when your re-routing the RDS power. Then there's more in Chapter 9.
  • stupid achievement...they just dont walk into it XD...but i got it anyway :)
  • super easy just wait till ch. 9 and buy the force gun :D
  • Did it in the first grav panel area by freezing everything and carefully pushing them into the panels. VERY CAREFULLY
  • Easy. I just pushed one of the necros that are made up of 5 small ones. He got stuck in the ceiling and then 1..2..3..4..5..chievo popped. :)
  • Lmao, the example lurker that walks into the panel by itself definately counts, i just unlocked this achievement on it. I just finished the imposs mode + plasma cutter only the other day, so i walked into the room thinking ok i'll get that gravity one this time around. walk in, lurker goes squuuueee boom achieve-get lol.
  • ^ I meant to also say that obviously it must count across games (and from the sounds of other ppl's posts across deaths too) so really not a hard achievement.
  • I also did what Skepsis did. I used stasis on the enemy, then slowly pushed them into the gravity stream.
  • I'm confused, I killed them and threw their bodies into the gravity thing, is that correct or not?
  • Chapter 4 when you first see it
  • no throwing their bodies in when there dead is not correct.
  • @ #17, you need to kill them awhile they're "alive" with the gravity lifts. Honestly this is ridiculously easy to get. Just run or stand around and they kill themselves with it.
  • Don´t know what I´m doing wrong. I´m on my 3rd playthrough now (1st was a normal playthrough, 2nd for the "one gun" achievement and 3rd for missing weapon cheevos), saw about 50 Necros die in that things and still no achievement.
  • that force gun could help if your having problems.
  • This one is fun and easy. Probably will happen just cuz some of the AI screw up and kill themselves.
