This will most likely cancel Ghost, especially in DX difficulty where you have
to be FAST saving her bacon. Prioritize the Mech and take it down with an EMP
grenade or you'll fail this fast.

#1 Good advice. Also, if you sadly don't have an EMP grenade on you, using the Typhoon augmentation to take down the robot is another viable choice. The robot is easily the greatest threat in this achievement.

If you're going for stealth this is very simple so long as you have 8 or so power bars. Charge forward and taze the heavies and ground troops, pull out your tranq gun and wipe the rest popping bars steadily to maintain cloak.

I found this easy to do with a sniper rifle,so long as you use silenced weapons the guards will pretty much ignore you. But should they spot you they will turn on you at once.

@#5 There are a maximum of 5 possible Power Cells, so I'm guessing he means the consumable.

I got confused when it said hostile, I thought because I was shooting I got spotted, so I made a seperate save, pulled out my lethal weapon which I use to take down bosses and saved her ass, then reloaded. Feel like a dick for letting her die.

If you a stun gun, the jump augment and an EMP grenade, this is literally one of the easiest achievements around. Just run up to the heavies first (obviously try not to take them head on in their line of sight) and stun them. Next, it's easiest to save your ammo and try to takedown the normal Belltower Troopers, if you aren't going for pacifist you can even shoot the explosive barrels the idiots hide behind. Leave the snipers until last, and if you still want Pacifist, Tranquilize them head on and they still shouldn't comprehend that you are there to stop them.

It took me a helluva lot more than 8 nutrient bars, but I was able to do it without killing anyone. Not sure if I was ever detected though, my cloak went down a couple of times, but I didn't seem to start taking a lot of attention. And once, I think I walked into someone's line of fire, not sure if that negates the not raising alarms deal or not.

I just got this on Deus Ex difficulty, just only need to use some decent cover (concrete block near the downed aircraft) and any gun will work as long as you're consistently accurate. If anyone needs a EMP grenade to take care of the bot there's usually a few grenades in the tunnel in the ditch near the electrical water, directly left from where you start. Obviously this would void the Pacifist achievement but you can reload the save. Hope this helps!

@14 ~ You probably shouldn't have combined "Legend", "Pacifist", and "Foxy" on the smae playthrough. Should have just bit the bullet and saved "Legend" for a final run. Your best bet here is just to sneak past everyone and let Malik die, you can save her on the next one.

For those working on stealth achievements (like me), is there any reason you can't save beforehand, lower difficulty to easy (if preferred), kill everybody, get the achievement, then restart at your previous save? Just plan ahead and have one strong lethal weapon in your inventory (you need one for bosses, anyway).

So here i am doing a "Foxiest" play through, and i come to the crash sight, i think to myself "Self... how do i know if i have been spotted or not since the enemies are already in 'hostile' mode." So i completed the section, got to the elevator (Unseen i think) and letting the pilot die, and a cut scene plays showing her getting executed... does this mean that i wasn't spotted? any advice would help. Thanks guys

Personally if you're going for foxiest/pacifist then i would ignore the fight and just get to the elevator. It's safer and you can unlock this one later.
There are severa ways to go about this one if you're in a killing mood:
Sniper rifle in the position you start in- You'll have a clean shot at most of the baddies. Chuck a EMP as soon as the bot drops. Done.
SMG/pistol/combat rifle- Spring to the right, go intothe hole and drop the first baddie, then take out the heavy gunner as soon as he appears. By this time the bot will drop, kill it fast enough and two to three baddies will be caught in the explosion. After that it's a simple matter of wiping outthe rest on the top floors.

If you do let her die you can later on find her body in the harvester compound laying on an operating table. Its kinda messed up.

Wednesday, September 14, 2011 @ 09:26:46 PM
Also, not saving her mean that she doesn't fly in and take out the baddies on the helipad when you're exiting the Shanghai facility. Instead there will already be a helo there that Megan will fly out, and all the troops will be scattered around the room acting batshit crazy from the Darrow signal.... Could be an issue for a Foxy run through, but I was able to get by them unnoticed.

I did get this & the Foxiest achievement on the same playthrough. I don't know if I was ever seen though. Accidentally let my cloak run out once or twice, so can't say for sure if I got spotted. Can't verify whether blowing up the bot cancels Pacifist though, as I had screwed that up in the opening mission(where Jenson apparently doesn't know how to melee, despite being ex-SWAT....).

For ANYONE curious about succeeding in saving her AND getting Pacifist, it IS indeed possible. It was very straining but I did find a method, part of it is very silly. This was performed on DX difficulty and I started up by increasing my Batteries to 4 (had a leftover Praxis) then made sure I had all 4 batteries full and drew the Tranq to shoot the guard on the 2nd floor left, after jumping down with an equipped Gas Grenade I went to the cement wall to the right of Malik's bird and aimed at the guard to the right (the smoke will also hit the guard above him on the 2nd floor). After cloaking and jumping the wall I ran for the first Heavy, K.O., went for 2nd Heavy, K.O. uncloak and shot the guard hiding behind the boxes nearby the first stationed Heavy. MAKE SURE the Heavy is NOT in the open

I literally dragged his body before the Robot dropped, when it self-destructs you need to make sure the guards are not too too close, that's what causes the Pacifist failure. Not killing the Robot via EMP, but the explosion hitting a guard. At this point in time you can see 2 guards on the 2nd floor shooting the bird, take them out, save snipers for last and bam, I can approve this did work for me. Pacifist did pop.

just thought i'd point out that you can get this cheevo along with
pacifist and foxy without reloading a previous save and letting her die. infact
i would recommend that you save her if you can because *SPOLIER* she will
turn up later and deal with the crazies just after the namir boss fight
saving you time and resourses.

Ok, I finished the game for the first time just now. Hardest difficulty, saved Malik and got Pacifist.
Just wanted to say that when I used an EMP mine to take out the bot before it attacked the chopper, the resulting explosion DID kill one of the heavy mercenaries I'd previously knocked-out. Thought that this might ruin my chance at getting Pacifist but it all worked out in the end :)

I saved her. I'm not going to not save her. I count 10 sleeping badies. Thats everybody. All alive. Perfect. If that counts against me I'd not recommend this to a friend. I meleed everybody, starting with the 3 guys on the 2nd story, the went clockwise on the guys ground level, pulled 1 away from robot, EMP'd robot and tranq'd the snipers. As long as you take out heavies and robot quickly, don't let anyone die in the explosion, you should be fine.

**PACIFIST AND FOXIEST CHEEVO FOLLOWERS**
I'm going to clear this up for those who are confused on not getting
pacifist by killing a bot.
The bot can result in a self destruct sequence and explode. This causes
the bot to kill anyone affected by the explosion. Not by your hand.
If however you kill the bot and no self destruct sequence was made, then
the explosion kills will be made by your hand. So which means you killed
the bot and exploded it.
Monday, April 14, 2014 @ 07:25:30 PM
It is hard already to try to kill the bot without anyone being
affected by the explosion. Not if you can be quick enough to
remove the bodies out of the area before the bot drops, but this
might void the foxiest.
