The Art of Conversation

25
Complete all the main character, follower, and artisan conversation challenges.

You must go through all converstaions with all of the main characters (Deckard, Adria, Leah and Tyrael), followers (Templar, Enchantress, Scoundrel) and artisans (Blacksmith and Jeweler). Some of the conversations are very time-specific, being available during certain points of the main story, but thankfully you can always load up an older chapter, or just catch the conversation on your next playthrough.
To find your conversation progress while in-game, hit select challenges, and highlight General. The challenge related to each character is listed on the quest sheet below in parentheses next to the character.
Notes: For the follower chats, you will need to unlock the followers with each character before you can talk to them on that character. Progress carries over between all of your characters, and unlocking the Jeweler and Blacksmith on one character will allow you to find them from the start on another character.

Note that some of the conversations might not update on the in-game challenge list, but will still work for the achievement. Shen's King Leoric conversation did check for me after repeating the conversation a few times, but completing the rest of the list gave me the check mark and the achievement.

Question is, if you miss a chat, can you use that quest menu to go back to the correct time frame and do it?

@2 Yes, you can.
I missed the first conversation with the blacksmith but got 2 onwards, and after using quest select to load a previous quest I spoke with him and it is now ticked off in my challenge log.

Remember that some won't appear until you start a second run; obviously some characters that weren't in Tristam at the start now are and will have conversations about things they weren't there to see the first time through.

Regarding the Jewler last conversation "Victory", you need to do this after you kill Diablo. Talk to the Angel about ending the game, but select "cancel". Then portal back to the jeweler and have the convo.

Are some of the conversations glitched?
After beating the game in normal, nightmare and hell I decided to do some of the missing conversations, starting in act 1, quest 1 and choosing one quest after another.
I did this until the beginning of act 3 and then checked the challenge. Lots of the jeweler's conversations weren't checked off although I know I did them (they are even faded out in the conversation menu). Same thing on one or two conversations with Leah.
Am I doing something wrong or is this a problem caused by any kind of glitch?

Same problem as #7. Not sure how to fix yet. Maybe 1) have another character with you or 2) delete updates and try to listening to all the conversations again. Will try eventually, too angry after spending time to do all the other conversations to have this happen.

@7 and 8 - Just keep repeating the conversation until it registers. We shouldn't have to of course but doing that does work. It took 3-4 times for Shen's "Ruin and Corruption" conversation to register.

@7,8, and 9 - You may need to actually start the quest that you quest select into to get their convo's to pop.

Quest selected into Act 1 The Imprisoned Angel to get Chen's "The Stranger" Convo. It wasn't there, so I went and spoke with Leah and started the quest and walked back to Chen and it appeared.

I just got this one.
My problems with the missing Shen-conversations were solved in a very mysterious way ^^
Choosing the conversation multiple times didn't work; neither did a quest restart. Another character didn't solve it, too.
Then a played with yet another character (I use him for coop only) and somewhere within the second act the missing conversations were suddenly checked. Strange thing, but I won't complain :D
Sadly there are quite some bugs in this game. Nothing too bad, but a bit annoying.

I can't believe how incredibly buggy this achievement is. Be prepared to click through the same convos 10-15 times, if not more, before they register.

I think if u let the convo play out it registers immediately, will try to verify that. Anyone have any idea how I can get these convos with Leah in Act III (Hopes, and Dreams). Went through Act III but didn't get them to pop.
