Step 1: Showdown Tour
First of all you will need to begin with the Showdown Tour, there are four tiers you will need to complete to finish the Showdown Tour, the first tier being PRO, and the Final tier being LEGEND. In each tier there are several events you need to pass by coming in the top three to unlock the next event. After completing the first event you will unlock Welcome to the show. The first event is also a good place to earn Hard Charger, you can use all of your boost in one attempt on the long straight. Once you have completed the first event you can restart the event or just move on to the next one and try to unlock Ego Boost for not using any of your boost during a race you win. I would suggest not to move onto the next event until you have won the previous event because you will want to unlock Bronze!, Silver! and Gold! all at once. As you move along the Showdown Tour you will need to complete several different types of events such as Rampage and Trick Rush. The following
- Wrecker
- Survivor
- Stylin' and Profilin'
- Rust in Pieces
- Mixed Grill
- Comeback King
- Zero to Hero
- Jack of all Trades
- Don't Push Me
- Demolition
- Crash-Bang-Wallop - What a Video
- Burst the Bubble
- Balletic
will be easiest to do in the earlier events in the PRO tour. You can earn a total of 560 from the Showdown Tour.
Step 2: Joyride
From the main menu, select joyride, from here you have a choice to visit either of the two compounds, Yokohama and Battersea. First, start on Yokohama. The Yokohama area contains 75 missions that need to be completed and 60 hidden packages that need to be found. Once you have completed half of the missions in Yokohama you will unlock Dock Worker, then once you have completed all 75 missions you will unlock Hoonzilla, now you can have a go at finding the remaining hidden packages as you will find most of them while attempting the missions. Your next step would now be to move onto the Battersea compound. The Battersea area contains 75 missions that need to be completed and 40 hidden packages that need to be found. Once you have completed half of the missions in Battersea you will unlock London Calling, then once you have completed all 75 missions you will unlock Daredevil. You will also unlock Hoonigan for completing all the missions from both compounds. Your final stage would be to find the remaining hidden packages. Once you have found all 60 packages in Yokohama and all 40 in Battersea you will unlock Treasure Hunter. A total of 165 is available from Joyride.
Step 3: Multiplayer
Most of the online achievements will come just through playing through different events, and most are quite easy. The only difficult one being Loot Carrier, but this can be unlocked through boosting just like the others. To get Household Name, Rising Star and Showdown Superstar you must play matches online to earn fans which increases your level. Points are awarded for your finishing position, the number of players in the lobby, and if you are lower levels than people you beat you will earn an underdog bonus. Showdown Haulage Co and Team Awesome should unlock through playing regularly, but if not can be boosted.
