Dragon Age: Origins

Dragon Age: Origins Achievements

Annulment Invoker

Sided with the templars in "Broken Circle"

See Magic Sympathizer for more details about this quest.

Once you escape the Fade, then you have to face the blood mage that has overtaken the Tower. You'll meet an imprisoned Templar on the way up to the blood mage. He'll ask you to kill all of the Mages. Agree with him and kill them after the fight with the blood mage.

Once the fight is done and you have killed all of the Mages, return to the first floor of the Tower and say that the Tower is secure. The Templars will join your army as a result.

You can get this in the conversation options after the fight, it does not matter if you side with the templar before the fight or not.

@#1 That's fairly vague. Care to elaborate?

After speaking with the templar before the final battle in the Circle of Mages and deciding whether or not to kill Wynne by saying they all must die.
You go into the final room and a cut-scene of two demons and a Maleficar transforming the mages into abominations, this then turns into a battle. After the battle you will be able to choose the fate of the First Enchanter by siding with the templar and saying everyone must die I don't remember the exact phrases to choose but I'm going to do another playthrough today and I will post the corresponding numbers to decide the fates of the mages at a later time (I hope this helps for now)

Is there a specific place that I can save so I can reload in order to get this achievement and the opposite faction in 1 play through? For all of the achievements like this?

@#2 Sorry I took so long, my internet has been out for a bit, anyhow as promised I have chosen the side of the templars on my mage and it turns out that the only thing that matters is when you return with Irving after fighting Uldred. When you are able to choose what to say you should have an option that says:

2:"If you spare even one blood mage, we may regret it later"
I suggest that the following prompts follow suit because I may have missed something that would allow you to choose the mages side, so be selfish and act like a templar!

@#4 I would imagine you could save after the final battle of the area and reload, I don't know though

Hey all, just to confirm for Deicide who has been a massive help from what I can see. Play through as you want then after fighting the demon in the very top of tower, tell Irving you want to look around, save, go downstairs and tell the Knight you think they can't be trusted etc. After it pops feel free to re load previous save and do it again differently.

You need to save right before you talk to the templar that is behind the magical barrier. Agree with the templar that you will kill everyone, then you'll have to kill Wynne. You'll have the big battle, everyone dies then you talk to the Knight Commander and receive his support for the darkspawn fight. You'll get the acheivement then. If the cut scene comes before you've had a chance to save, the game does an auto save so you can reload the auto save then make your own save at that location.

You can't get this achievement if you let everyone die by not using the Litany, either. From what I've seen, Irvine has to be alive to get the achievement. :/

Does anyone know if you can get this achievement by siding with hem in the first conversation?

I didn't realize you had to kill all mages.
