The Enduring Vigil

Acquired all upgrades for Vigil's Keep

Start working on this as soon as you can. You'll have to run some errands for a dwarf named Voldrik and some old friends from Denerim. Voldrik wants to upgrade the walls to dwarven standards. Pay him 80 sovereigns (gold pieces) to get the work started. After the first story quest, he'll tell you that he needs granite to finish the job. There is a granite deposit in the Wending Wood just to the east of the entrance to the Silverite Mine.

The other upgrade is for your old friends. They'll ask you to find ore deposits so they can make weapons and armor for the soldier's of Vigil's Keep. There are three deposits out there. Two of them follow the main story, the third is from a side quest in Vigil's Keep ("It Came From Beneath"). The iron ore is in Kal'Hirol. The silverite ore is in the Silverite Mine in the Wending Wood. The veridium ore is in the basement of Vigil's Keep.

You also need to complete the quest "Sealing the Great Barrier Doors" to get this achievement. It is worth mentioning that you CANNOT re-enter the Silverite Mine after completing the "The Righteous Path" quest, so make sure to grab the silverite ore before you leave!

You can re-enter it but not go into where you need to, I just did that... and now I need to re-do the whole starting section to get this achievement... I feel dumb...

What exactly do you need to fully upgrade it? So far ive given the dwarf 80 sovereigns, found the iron, silverite, and veridium ores. And i've got the trader from the mines to trade at the keep. What else am i missing?

You need to find the granite in the woods and tell the dwarf about it so he can use the better materials for the walls!

I can't tell if I've found the Veridium Ore in Vigil's Keep Basement. Can you sell this to a merchant or is it considered a plot item? How do I know if I've already given it to the blacksmith? I would hate to go on with the expansion if I have to restart the damn thing already.

I think you also need to get the lyrium sand and give it to the dwarf that makes the explosives. Not sure though because I have never not given him the sand.
