Dragon's Dogma

Dragon's Dogma Achievements

The Hero

Completed all pre-planned, non-notice board quests.

This achievement carries over to NG+ so any quests completed in your first playthrough won't have to be redone in your second playthrough. It will take a bit of planning and reading ahead to ensure you complete all of the quests in the game. For a detailed guide on how and when to complete each quest, go here.

Once you complete all 53 quests, the achievement will unlock.

I beat the game once and didn't get this achievement. Are there additional quests in the New Game+?

Maybe you screwed up the flower gathering mission in the beginning.

Its all quest that people give you with the green icon over thir head so plenty can be missed just in thr first part of the game if you don't look around

Here is how you get the achievement. It should be noted that the wording of the description, "all pre-planned, non-noticeboard quests", is a bit deceptive, as some of these do become active based on notice board requests:

Strength in Numbers
A Rude Awakening
Off With Its Head
A Matter of Myrmidons
Lure of the Abyss
The Cypher
A Fortress Besieged
Seeking Salvation
The Watergod's Altar
Come to Court
The Wyrmking's Ring
Griffin's Bane
Pride Before a Fall
Honor and Treachery
Trial and Tribulations
Deny Salvation
The Final Battle
A Warm Welcome
Fathom Deep

Grim Tidings
Floral Delivery
Deep Trouble
Idol Worship
An Uninvited Guest
No Honor Among Thieves
Thick As Thieves
Supply A
Supply And Demands
A Troublesome Tome
Reaper's Scorn

here is the rest

Of Merchants and Monsters
Escort Duty
The Dragons Tongue
Talent in Bloom
Nameless Terror
The Conspirators
Rise of the Fallen
An Innocent Man
Supplier's Demand
Land of Opportunity
Lost and Found
A Parting Gift
Witch Hunt
Guard Duty
Bad Business
Arousing Suspicion
Duchess in Distress
Dying of Curiosity
Farewell, Valmiro
Search Party
Chasing Shadows
Deeper Trouble
Mettle Against Metal

I should also mention that the quest people are most likely to miss is the last one listed; mettle against metal. This isn't a quest that you get through a person, it involves defeating a metal golem, found in the second half of the witchwood. When you walk up to the metal golem, it will wake up and you will instantly receive a quest notice that

that requires you to defeat him.

The other quest you are most likely to miss is the one that involves Reynard; I think it's called "search party". You have to trade with him quite a bit and he will eventually start giving you quests to locate certain items. It's a multi-stage quest so keep trading with him and receiving updates on the quest until it's completely done.

(here is the rest is not a quest just to make that clear)

If you miss a quest can you do it in NG, or if you start NG do you have to do ALL of them again. A better way to word that would be "Do they all have to be done in a single playthrough?"

I'm just curious, does this need to be done on one playthrough, because I am wondering if I can just keep speed running through NG+ to do the quests I am missing.

@ 11
It doesn't need to be done in one playthrough, but you may have to redo certain quests to be able to do ones you've missed.

i am on my 4th playthrough. i just got it after completing a quest mid-game. u don't have to do all in 1 playthrough aslong as u have done it at least once. simply put completion is accumulative over all playthroughs
