Dungeons & Dragons: Daggerdale

Dungeons & Dragons: Daggerdale Achievements

The Big Stick

Deal 75 damage with a single attack

The easiest way to unlock this is during the Rezlus/Red Dragon battle in Chapter 4. On either side of the room there are catapults, pulling the level will launch a flaming barrel. If you hit an NPC with this then you'll do 150 damage, and the achievement will unlock.

It is possible to hit over 75 with a level 6-8 mage/fighter, but it is dependent on your gear and how you assigned you skill points.

I'm not sure if I like or hate this achievement. 75 damage doesn't sound like a lot when some games have damages in the thousands. But then it also means that enemies don't have ridiculous hit points if this is an achievement.

I agree with you! I hate these achievements.... It's like the one from Dragon Age all over again.

well i agree with both of you, im not really a fan of these, but well, its like in dragon age, and im sure that you'll get it just by playing, the one in dragon age just came when i progressed in the game, dont expect much trouble with this one when ill buy it later

Managed this at lvl 5. Just use the catapult(150ish dmg) on the final boss fight and this will unlock. (Glitched to get to final Chapter at lvl 3, this game is FULL of bugs).

You can get this pretty early with the Rogue. Just make sure to have Lvl3 Blinding Barrage (I think that's the name of the move; it's one available at Lvl1) and a Greatbow with at least 10 damage.

Blinding Barrage fires several powered arrows, however, it is still valid. The wording of the achievement says "one attack", not "one hit". This is best applied by fully charging the attack and then unleashing like a shotgun blast against low-armored enemies such as goblins or zombies.

Got this with the Rogue using a Longbow +2 and the final class skill at level 3 (I believe its called bloodletting or something along those lines). Did 85 points of damage with it.
