Escaped the Imperial Sewers, Main Quest Beginning

  • How to unlock Escaped the Imperial Sewers

If you're just going through the game for achievements, you'll want to set the difficulty to lowest possible setting: once you're in the game, press , go to "options", the "gameplay" and slide the difficulty slider all the way to the left. This will make combat in the game very straightforward.

You start the game in a jail cell and the first segment game involves your escape from the Imperial Prison. This is a very linear area and serves as a tutorial for the game’s basic controls and as an introduction to the main storyline. Once you have your final conversation with Emperor Uriel Septim and he gives you the Amulet of Kings, you’ll exit into the sewers, which leads you directly outside. You’ll get one final chance to adjust your attributes before you exit. Once the loading screen clears and you’re outside, the achievement will unlock.

  • Before you exit the sewer, create a new save that way whenever you wanna start a new game, game, you don't have to do the whole tutorial thing again.
  • wow that guys advise is a really good one. make sure to do that, i know i will (in future)
  • cant wait for TOS5!
  • Played Oblivion since it came out years ago... Started many different characters... Did the chargen every time and I'm a little annoyed (but very grateful) of your suggestion. I can't believe I never thought of that! Will do that from now on, thanks!
  • Excellent comment cbmetalgod88. I just picked up Oblivion (GOTY) and will definitely use your suggestion.

  • This game is still great after 5 years.

  • Thanks for the suggestion! I've been playing Oblivion for a while now (easiest 50GT I know of, too) and I can't believe I haven't done that.
  • that's rly helpfull
  • don't forget to save!
  • how long does this one take?
  • @7 I think everyone does. :)
  • I love that people are still playing this game. Its definitely one of the best ever.
  • Even though this game is 6 years old it's still a really good game,it's definitely one of my favourite games!
  • Well I've played and completed Skyrim but never played any of the previous titles in the Elder Scrolls series, so I just bought this game today and I'm told it's really good. I understand the graphics is not as good as Skyrim but I'm not going to hold that against this game. I'm after gameplay anyway and not a 'beautiful perfect' game.
  • This was the first achievement I ever got and it was in probably one of the best games I have ever played.
  • this game doesn't hold up to the test of time. It's glitchy, repetitive, has poor art direction, terrible voice acting and dialogue and although it's really big, there's not much feeling of immersion - the character has very little effect or importance in the game world. Not to mention, the graphics are not even acceptable-looking anymore. Sure, the music is good and the game has some fun moments, but compared to ANY more recent RPG, it sucks. It was great for it's time - it used to be my favorite game for a few years - but it's tired and old now. Goodbye Cyrodiil.
  • why cant they make games as good as this anymore.... skyrim was so disappointing
  • game is great
