|Acquire 11 vampire perks|
First chance you get to become a Vampire lord is after the quest Awakening. When you take Serana to her father Harkon. Harkon will offer you the gift of becoming a Vampire lord. If you take the Dawnguard route instead Serana has the ability to make you a vampire lord instead. She can change you infinitely.
The only perk I can recommend getting as soon as possible is unearthly will as it will increase the amount of times you can you the area drain attack before having to recharge. Do not have an ally with you while you do this as you need to be the killer, also save the perk night cloak for last as the bats will steal kills.

This achievement is actually easier than it seems, in my opinion, it's easier to get that then the equivalent to it, "Werewolve Mastered". All that have to do is Fast travel to Broken Tower Redoubt, West of Morthal, and go North and South finding weak enemies. There's Giants Camp, many imperial camps(If Stormcloak/Civil War Quest is active), bandit camps, loose bears, elk, and deer and at times you find loose Dawnguard/Vampire encounters. Just spam the right trigger while useing the default spell or power thing. Very fun to unlock the "Vampiric Grip". Hope this helps because it sure helped me get that pesky achievement.

If level is 81 don't worry, you get perks by absorbing the souls or whatever happens. For werewolves, you initially just feed to get perks.

just go to all the holds and towns, anywhere with guards and people and just go into melee form and keep doing power bite then u get it. best if u do it on guards and people solitude, markarth, morthal, and riften had the most guards and people for me

I made this, it shows how to get the achievement pretty easily and fairly quick. I added some tips in the description on how it works. Hope it helps! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1AfS5p00_M&feature=youtu.be

@5, 6 is right get his health down with melee attack then hold rt and most time he or she will lunge forward and bite the neck of whoever you're attacking but a few times they wont or if its a character you cant kill like jarls your wont bite them

I still can't figure out how to bite people. Tried holding down RT when I'm close and it doesn't work. Still a fun achievement, Vampiric Grip never gets old!

@10 you have to get their health fairly low - low enough usually that a single hit will kill them. I found it far easier to just use the health draining spell (red) on everyone in every major town/city then revert save.

Try not to take any one with you they might just steal your kill

Easiest thing to do. Just go to every major city and town, transform, and go on a killing spree

This is such a pain to do, the blood spell for the vampire lord is so weak that things take forever to kill. It is faster with a follower, but most of the time they kill steal me by getting the last hit.

I'm a traitor because i was a werewolf until dawnguard. Also what's better long term werewolf or vampire lord.

Over long term, I perfered to be a werewolf. The sunlight damage of being a vampire was just too much of a pain to maintain. Then again i was playing as a warrior style orc so switching to a werewolf for harder battles just seemed natural.

Just watched my girlfriend kill ENDLESS SPAWNING waves of Imperials during The 'Battle for Fort Amol' mission to get this achievements. As even though she was sided with the Imperials the kills do not give bounty, etc. Also the spawns still continued even after hitting the require Stormcloak death count since she stayed in the area. Hope that helps someone.

Can you wipe out the vampires and still be a Vampire Lord later? All I really want is to get the vampire perk achievement...

Ya my game froze 3 times while on vampire killing sprees. Never froze once when I was doing the werewolf perk farming.

@#25...Thats all I wanted to do and I cannot get rid of lycanthorpy. Im doing one of those companions radiant quests to get that whole ball rolling and the item I need to complete the quest they gave me isnt there...long story short im screwed because i dont have a previous save where i am not a werewolf except the one where im at a level 50 from like a year ago. Just wish i could get this achievement and then i would have them all. extreeeemley frustrating.

Read the one where you go to every hold and feed off guards and townspeople. Great idea, I'll make an extra save and do this soon.

Way easier than the werewolf one. Took like half the time and the powers are way cooler
