Fable 2

Fable 2 Achievements

The Sacrifice

A Hero must choose 'The Needs of the Many'.

After defeating the Grand Spire and enlisting the help of The Hero of Skill, the final but albeit brief showdown with Lucien takes place in the Spire. Here you will be offered 3 choices, each with an achievement. For this achievement choose the "Sacrifice" card.

Note: This and the following two achievements can be earned if you save before this final confrontation, choose one, then quit out either by powering down (or go to the dashboard, hit and sign out). Then reload your save and choose the other. Repeat one last time to have all three.

There's a way to get all the 3 achievements without starting a new game, when you get this achievement, just go the dashboard and it will tell you are you sure blah blah blah, then just run the disc again and do the same thing with the other achievements.

Or just save it right before entering the room.
Just replay it. Choose your real choice last ofcourse ;)

It makes it tricky because you have to exit out of the game before it autosaves. Man I wish you could turn that autosave feature off like in other games.

'The Needs of the Many' outweigh 'The Needs of the Few' or 'The Needs of the One', so in other words, you'll be choosing to save the masses as opposed to saving your own arse!

Can you save multiple times in fable 2?

#8 No. You can start a new game on a hard drive, but it starts all over. What I did to get all three was when the credits start rolling, go to the dashboard or shut off the xbox and start again. Then you'll be outside the building and get to choose again.

Wish I'd checked this before I finished lol... I try to play the game for the sake of playing it and not ruining the story or experience by looking up the ending before hand... looks like I am gonna be playing this game again if I ever wanna get the full whack.

Save as it says "Take Theresa's hand", That's the last place you can save before you have to choose

If like me you have your xbox hard drive itself (mine is only less than 4 Gb) plus a 250 Gb hard drive you can just simply copy your save file to the other hard drive as back up and get the achievement, delete (if you want) it and re-copy it and do it again getting the other achievement, then repeat the process for the third achievement. It's one option anyway.

If you choose any other option than love once you can get your dog back if you have the knothole island dlc. All you need to do is get a villager to follow you to knothole island, once there look for a tomb to the left of the chieftain's office then lead them in it and pull the lever. It can only be done after the end battle with Lucien at the spire.

If your save file on flash drive, you can just remove it, after getting achievement and game will offer you to quit to tittle screen without saving. Reinsert flash drive and choose "Continue". A bit faster way, without reloading entire game...
