nope. there is a finite number of quantums in the game. later though, you can get the chemist perk allowing you to make more quantums.

The Quantum Chemist perk is only added if you have the broken steel addon and can only be aquired at level 22.

There's 93 bottles of quantum laying around in the wasteland.
Then you have a 1/10 chance of receiving a quantum from any vending machine you open (you can reload your save and try this for a quantum from each vending machine).
There's a total of 178 machines.
There's also a few random encounters that could get you a quantum.
The chemist perk does not work on ice cold colas and ice cold ones can never become regulars again.
I do not know if your luck stat affects your chances on quantums from vending machines, but i always found the luck stat to be very interesting so it never hurts having a high luck stat.

This achievement is too long and very tedious if you ask me.

i started this when i had the chemist perk. i stole every single nuka cola in her house, so that made 3 quantums already XD. that perk makes this achievement so much easier..

I guess I'm not finding this achievement too long or tedious, because I knew beforehand that I should save my quantums. So, I just collect them as I proceed through the rest of the game, and eventually I'll collect enough. It would take forever to go out and scour the Wasteland just looking for them.

If you guys are stuck, go near Old Olney and find a guy with a note on him. He'll say his truck crashed and its full of Quantums. This is what made me finish the quest.

This and The legend of the star are the most evil achievements ever. Glad they are both over with.

What I did,and without that chemist perk,I did the ''Power of the Atom'' side quest first and any quantum bottle I found I put in one of the crates in either the suite or the abandoned house in Megaton.
Its easy once you beat the game,I never drank any though and once I had 30 I took them to her and finished the quest.

Best to buy the schematic from Doc (caravan outside canterbury commons) and speech your way into max caps from ronald lauren. 90 caps per quantam, after 30 you still beat the quest and you still get the schematic for the "WEAPONSMITH" achievement.

To the right of Old Olney is a crashed nuka-cola truck, which has the biggest cache of quantums in the game...

Turns out if you play a female character and take the Black Widow perk, you can suggest a threesome to Ronald and he'll agree to go find quantums for you to give to Sierra.
Dunno exactly how many he'll find, only just started this quest. Figure at the very least you get an imaginary threesome out of it! =)

Why are people complaining about this achievement? You'll have more than the required amount if you proceed through the game normally. If you're someone who plays games just to speed through them and actually doesn't explore, it's still pretty easy (though you're a boring "gamer").
