You Gotta Shoot 'Em in the Head

Completed "You Gotta Shoot 'Em in the Head"

To acquire this quest, speak with Crowley inside the Underworld. He will ask you to kill a few people with an incentive for shooting them in the head, then collect keys from them. You can kill them any way you'd like if you just want to finish the quest, or you can actually just acquire a key from each of them. You can pickpocket the key or use speech challenges to get them in a variety of ways.

Now there is another option to finish the quest instead which may be better for you. Once you have the three keys from Ted, Dukov and Dave, head to Fort Constantine and use the keys to open some doors and retrieve the power armor held within. This is still considered a successful completion.

One final option is to speak with Tenpenny and warn him that Crowley is alive and wants him dead. He will offer you money to instead kill Crowley. Doing so will also complete the quest.

See You Gotta Shot 'Em in the Head for more specific info.

I got this quest from Crowley in Underworld and after I started the "Operation: Anchorage" DLC quest-line. At the same time I finished the DLC and received the last achievement I got the achievement for this quest also! It was as if I had completed it! But every target Crowley gave me were still alive, and Crowley too!
A very interesting bug! But I was kind of excited to shoot them in the head! lol... well, no matter! I got the achievement anyway!

It's because the armor you get at the end of Crowley's quest is the same(except for color)as the armor you get at the end of "Operation: Anchorage", you tricked the game into thinking you had beaten the quest. I love this game, but there are far too many glitches involving the DLC.

I can confirm it. And you not only get achievement and it gets completed, so you no longer can complete this mission

this quest can get bugged as it did for me when you decide to take tempany's offer and kill crowley. after you kill the ghoul and go to talk to tempany, he may not acknowledge that you've completed the quest and reward you. you can constantly talk to him in conversation till the dialogue option comes up to tell him you killed crowley and want your reward, or you can try reloading the auto save when you enter the penthouse level...or another bug occurs where tempany will congratulate you on killing the ghoul and give you the caps but you will not get the achievement and the quest will still say "collect your reward from tempany." if this happens, go collect the other keys from the other 3 targets through whatever means then go to fort constantine and go into the CO building and the down t

You don't have to kill anyone in this quest to beat it. Just talk them out of their keys,or buy them out. In the end you can kill either Crowley, bad move,or Tempenny, good move and good karma.

After you give Crowley the keys and he goes to get the armor, you can kill him without losing karma or making the other ghouls hostile. Then you can get the armor yourself.
