Fallout 3 Achievements

Last, Best Hope of Humanity

30
Reached Level 20 with Good Karma

To get all of these in a single playthrough, you will need to make sure you save your game at levels 7, 13 and 19 and do all three of them before moving on and before saving over your old save file. Also be sure to save a side-quest or main quest for just before reaching each of the required levels to make it easier.

I would suggest being good at first. Getting bad karma is the easiest, so staying good the entire game will make it easier to handle these. Get your achievement for good, then reload your save. Go on a murder spree until you hit neutral, then turn in your quest to reach your target level. Reload your save yet again. Go on an even bigger murder spree until you hit bad, then turn in your quest to reach the target level. Repeat this process for each set of achievements.

Note: See "Silver-tongued Devil" for a few infinite speech challenge loops. You will gain experience for every speech challenge won, so these will also aid in getting to the level you need without messing up your karma situation.

A good tip for these achievements would be to save before you get promoted to the level in question get the achievement with karma bad/neutral/good and then load game and get it with different karma

@1 Durrr

Obviously easiest way is to play as good then save at like lvl 13.5 (for example) and go on a killing spree to achieve desired karma ratings.

However I've found a nice trick if you're too close to leveling and don't want to kill people because of the exp they award.

When you enter Megaton, head towards the food shop on the left near the atom bomb. In the back room is a terminal you can hack. Simply enter and exit it over and over. You get negative karma and you don't have to hack the computer. Easy Peasy.

Just Save When Close To Level 8, 14 And 20 (Have Good Karma) Then Go To Megaton (A place With Civillians) Then Kill Them All Wait Till You're At Nutral Then Go Kill Some Raiders Etc Then Load Again And Keep Killing Civillans To LV Up With Bad Karma,Do The Same With Good Karma!

To get all of these achievements you can play through the game with good karma, when you are close to levels 8, 14 and 20 save the game. Now go to Megaton, go to moriarty's saloon and you can see a terminal, everytime you try to enter the terminal you lose karma.
You have to lose karma until you reach neutral karma and then you can do some missions to level up. Same thing with bad karma. You can easily get all of these achievements in this way.

You could also donate money at the Rivet City Church to gain karma, if you are an evil character attempting to do this.

Easiest way i thought was being evil then working your way up to good. Just donate money to the church in rivet city or megaton. I'm getting all the achievements on the 360 ATM. Sadly i'm very good. And what i do is save at 12 and 18 then level up and use the hear and now perk. Helps you get them a lot faster. Then on your original character just dont use it. If you have the dlc theirs the level 30 chievo. I kind of messed up on this one though bout to level with 500 xp and cant kill anybody. off to the terminal i suppose.

I wish they didn't have 3 achievements for each karma- it'd have made more sense if they just had 3 total, for getting to level 8, 14 and 20, with any karma, so people wouldn't have to play drastically differently to get a different karma.

Donating money and giving water to the thirsty guys outside of megaton and rivet city are the easiest ways to get your karma up...........

I've been keeping some quest finale's for levelling! For instance, I handed the Bot Part back to Zimmer in 'The Replicated Man' and noticed I received 330XP, so reloaded the save before and have kept it for leveling up when I need to, this way XP isn't an issue, not that it should be though!

I always play good except that I steal... A LOT. That gives me really bad karma plus a lot of nice loot. (Which is stupid since I'm really a good person and make all the good choices and don't kill people and stuff) ;-) Anyways, easy-peasy: just steal everything you can and than when just before you reach the above mentioned levels go to the priest by the bomb in megaton and donate money to pass neutral and then good. Remember to SAVE!
