Devil20
Reached Level 30 with Bad Karma

When you are close to level 29, make a new save. Earn some XP to reach level 29. When you hit 29, use the Here and Now perk. This will immediately make you level 30. For the level 30 perk, select Devil's Highway. This will make you very bad and the achievement will unlock.

A good way to get some quick XP is by collecting Super Mutant blood packs for Tristan. After completing Who Dares Wins, speak to the Paladin in the Citadel and he'll set you the mission. Collect blood packs from Super Mutants and take them back to Tristan. Two good spots for Super Mutants are the Germantown Police Station and the area surrounding the Washington Monument. Be sure to be well rested, and you'll recieve an XP bonus when handing the blood packs to Tristan.

A good way to get all these achievements in one playthrough: Start a game with intentions to play through it on good karma. Every time you're about to reach a level with one of these achievements, save your game. Get the good karma achievement for that level, then reload. Start stealing things until you have nuetral karma and level up, then reload. Start killing or stealing until you have bad karma, level up and reload again. You will be back to your good karma and you will have all the achievements for that level. It should only take a few minutes each time, Just make sure you watch your XP and know what levels the achievements are attached to.

This DLC is only activated by completing "Take it Back" (the main game). It is the best DLC to begin with for two reasons:
1. It enables free roaming after the DLC is over.
2. It changes the level cap from 20 to 30.
This means once you beat this DLC, you can continue with the other DLC's while contributing to your Level 30 achievements. Otherwise, you'll have to revert to saved games that occur before the completion of "Take it Back" which means you lose your level.

for level 8, 14, and 20 what JonR888 said works but there is an even easier
way to get the ones for level 30. save your game at level 28 just before you
level up to 29, after doing this select the "Right Here, Right Now" perk which
will bump you up to 30. now pick one of the Karmic change perks, do this three
times and in a matter of second you will get all three.

Anyone know if the karma achievements stack?

I'm approaching Level 30 with Good Karma and am curious if I have to play through again to get the 8, 14 and 20 achievements for evil and neutral.

Here's a way to quickly change your karma level for these achievements:

1) Play through the game with good karma.

2) Get The Power of the Atom quest and rig the bomb to explode.

3) When you get close to level 8, 14, or 20 fast travel to Tenpenny Tower and be sure to save your game.

4) Complete The Power of the Atom quest by blowing up Megaton. If you have a lot of good karma then this should set it to neutral.

5) Go on a killing spree in Tenpenny Tower to get your karma level to evil. You should only have to kill three or four residents to move from a neutral to evil karma level. Killing security guards does not affect karma.

6) Reload your saved game and repeat.

For level 30 just do what d0ct0rscarecr0w said.

The best way to do this (with the save before you level method) is to have a
good playthrough and when you get the good achievement do the reload part. Then
go to your options and turn the autosave off for when you travel. Fast travel
Megaton and use a Fatman to blow everyone up there till you have Bad Karma or
Neutral whichever you need. You should level up in the middle of killing
everyone so all you have to do is leave the city and get as far away from it as
possible (or just kill everyone so it is considered a safe environment) and BAM
there pops your achievement. This can only be done if you have a good
playthrough. Then just reload your save and it is like you never did a bad
thing. :)

BEST WAY to do this is save your game just before you're hitting lvl 30 and then use the Escalator to heaven, Karmic rebalance or the Devils Highway perks (one of these is not available depending your current karma-level). I just did it this way. Saved my game, killed a raider, leveled up, upgraded my points, chose the perk, pressed done and the achievement popped. Then I just re-loaded the game and repeated for the other achievements! This works! Saves a whole lot of time.

oh, and the lvl 8, 14 and 20 achievements I had from previous playthroughs... reaching 20 doesn't take that long though.

I'm guessing you can only use the "Right here, right now" perk once in the game. I don't see it anywhere and I most likely used it early on.

Yeah I used it to get from 14 to 15. I think that you should just save before getting to level 30 and use the karma effecting skills to get the achievements. Not really any point in killing people it takes more time to go from Good to Evil than to just save level up and select the karma per.

Easy just level to level 29 and then get all three achivements for level 30. Just reload a save and change karma by stealing and killing.

Easy. Levels 1-20 in Big Town with that speaking glitch. After that going through all the GOTY quests, hacking terminals and lockpicking. Remember to choose perks which maximize your XP. Save game near to level 29 and check your status. After that choose Here And Now which gives instant 30 level.

The best way I found to get the three was to use the Operation Anchorage glitch/exploit where enemies continually spawn from the back of the area and you can pick them off indefinitely. I also recommend doing the infinite ammo exploit a few times. Save often when you are doing this because I got to around level 26 or so on a new character and it froze so only the auto save at the entrance was there. The nice thing about this way is that you can start a brand new character and go directly to this and still reach level 30 in a reasonable amount of time. For a full description of how to do this bug and others, go to the Operation Anchorage exploits page on the Fallout wiki. I can post a link if anyone wants.
