Far Cry 3

Far Cry 3 Achievements

Fearless or Stupid

Dive more than 60m (Single Player only).

You'll first need to play a few main story based mission to unlock the Deep Dive Syringe. Once this has been unlocked and you've made one with the required coloured plants (2 Blue and 1 Green), head towards the sea. You're now looking for an area with the darkest blue to it. Head to these coordinates for an area opened up early to you - X: 709.1, Y: 835.6.

Now equip and use the Deep Dive Syringe and dive down to the bottom. Your best bet here is to press to swim faster so that you don't drown. Once you've reached and touched the bottom of the sea, the achievement will unlock.

Search for a dark blue part of the ocean on your map. These are the deepest parts of the ocean. You need to activate radio towers to uncover the map. After reaching such a point in the ocean you need to dive down until you hit the ground. Click the left stick to swim faster.

You can get this in a bay on the south east of the first island. There is a shark relic that appears as though it is just off the beach in the shallow water. In reality, it is at the bottom of a deep shaft (their is also a chest at the bottom). Swim straight down and get yourself a cheevo and some loot :)

You'll find this if you're going for all 120 relics instead of just the 60 for the achievement.

Just find a dark blue spot on the map in the ocean(the darker blue the deeper the water). Idk if you need a deep dive syringe but i did. Just keep swimming down until it the achievement pops

Do what #3 said. The location is a perfectly round black spot on the map. Coordinates: X:753 , Y:653

Around X:755, Y:655 there's a small deep hole containing a relic and chest. Got the achievement by fetching those.

Managed to do it without using a syringe.

I got this achievement yesterday, I attempted in a random spot in the ocean didn't get it, used common sense and thought maybe dark spots are deeper so i went there and got it, There was not one shark when i attempted it, i also died from drowning i was a second from the surface

^ Haha. I was moments from drowning but just broke the surface in time.

PS. Syringe isn't needed. It can be done with or without - did mine without, but like I said, only narrawly broke the surface in time.
Either way it doesn't really matter if you die, you'll still get the achievement. I got the 'Never Saw it Coming' achievement from a zip-line falling into a group of enemies - about five or six. Did the takedown on one and as the rest came in to slaughter me, the achievement popped.
