FEAR 3 Achievements

Point Authority

Attain a total of 110,000 score on Interval 07

For each Interval/Score achievement you will need to maximize your points gain. This is easier without a partner as your individual score is needed to earn this achievement. This interval has the toughest enemy pinch near the end of the Interval. You'll press a button to open a bay door and a lot of Monstrosities will spawn in to kill you. You will have to wait for the door to open enough to get in and close it while killing off whatever follows you through. On easier difficulties it's possible to make a stand and kill them as they spawn. Yet on harder difficulties it's best to run back to the previous room, close the door and wait. From there you can decide the best course of action, whether to kill them all or run for the exit. If you decide to fight be sure to have the Riot Gear from the previous room, it'll make this part much easier. Other then that there's not a lot to this Interval. You can earn 7 or so weapon challenges here (Strader, SMG, CAS, G3A3, Frag/Flash/Shock, Penetrator, Goliath, Laser, Riot).

Got 98 kills on this level then dies on the 2 electric guys that spawm. I would of got 10,00 for the 100th kill. I was short around 9,00 from this achievement. I was so pissed. I hate this level with a passion.

It's the longest level & you got to take your time so you can complete as many challenges as possible. I wasted 1hr & 5min on this level :(

For anyone who is having a hard time with this one (it was the second hardest point achievement for me to get...), here are my tips.

To begin with, I picked Fettel over Point Man, because you can get most of the same challenges (the only ones you can't get being slow-mo based), and he has a bunch of other challenges that as long as you're possessing bodies and playing well you nearly automatically get. I actually favor Fettel for Point Man for most point achievement runs for these reasons.

I played on Recruit, and had more than enough points, so I recommend that. To start off, do the basic tactics, aim for headshots and try to stay in cover for long amounts of times. Since you'll be possessing enemies through the level and nearly all of them have an assault rifle and scarce pistol a

scarce pistol ammo, you really should focus on getting weapon based challenges with the likes of the pistol, uzis, shotgun, and SMG.

The reason being is that near the end of the level you run into a phase caster, and since you'll be on recruit you can pretty much farm these guys for kills; kills from behind cover, headshots, melee kills, etc. They ALL spawn with assault rifles, so try to use it sparingly until you get here, as you can easily get 25 in this area. Same thing with your melees and blasts (and grenades I suppose), though another latter section involving Alma's weird evil dog monsters (much easier with Fettel since he can suspend them) also will require a ton of melee and blasts, so you can save them for that too.

Always find the Alma doll, and on this level it's easy to

and on this level it's easy to do so as it's always located in the giant circular food court with the circular elevator in the middle: it's in one of the backs of the stores. Same idea, always get the Psychic Links, they are what will probably push you over the edge.

Finally, since you'll be Fettel you obviously will have the ability to use the suicide option where you make your enemy explode while possessing them. I recommend saving some of these for the Phase Commanders, since when they turn red you can possess them and explode them, which saves you time on killing them. Time really isn't important though, and you should aim for the challenges rather than time. Hope this helps!
