Sandbox Skull

On Sandbox, find the hidden skull.

Thanks to Maka for creating the video. Ideally, open the page up and take a look at the description, watch in higher quality, etc. There is a premade map for the Sandbox skull (Mythic Map Pack).

I now have made a map using tunnel pieces leading straight to the skull. There is a bubble shield at the end to throw right the skull. It has been uploaded to Bungies "file share" look for "Slashburn" Gamertag.

Simply go into monitor mode and spawn a tunnel fragment, preferably a corner, float inside and move it in the direction of the skull while staying inside it. Try not to move to close to the edges as the guardian's attacks may still hit you.

The skull is located past the flashing beacons signalling the edge of the map in the direction of the sunrise/down/whatever it is. Look to the right of the sun to the big tower, look to the right again and the first big ditch, downward slope thing in the sand-dunes is where the skull is sitting.

The easiest way to download files is to go to, go there, sign in,(you automatically have a profile, just use your email and password from your XBL account)and search sandbox skull or something, click download and next time you are on XBL and Halo 3 the map should be there, I found one took me 15 secs, also you need a hard drive

Ahh I like one of the tips up there about the video. Made it really simple. I'll need to get at it now.

for me i just gave myself overshields, spawned a bubble shield and then just sped to the skull in monitor mode. if you move around enough while still going forward you won't get killed, then just pop up in spartan when u get to the skull, use bubble shield, bam done.

Got this by flying the corner pipe piece over to the skull and just picking it up. I've watched a lot of over-complicated methods. This method took about 2 minutes to do.

Got this one using the tube corner piece method, takes a bit of patience, took me about 10 minutes.

I downloaded a map for sandbox where someone actually clocked off the towers that shoot at you with a wall or something, then you just walk to it no problem.
