What's A Killing Spree?

Earned a Killing Spree in multiplayer Matchmaking.

Killing Spree Medal: A Killing Spree is to get 5 kills in a row without dying. It doesn't matter how far the kills are spaced out time wise, but you cannot die while getting the 5 kill streak. Here are some tips on killing enemies faster:

  • If you see a enemy around a corner, throw a grenade first to damage him, shoot him and/or melee him after. This is to cause damage first so if you both start shooting at the same time, he is already damaged and will die faster.
  • Crouching causes you to not appear on your enemies motion sensor. You can hide behind a corner if you see a enemy coming for you and assassinate him possibly once he walks by.
  • If the enemy is far away, try not bring attention to yourself and just start shooting. Plan where you are going to go and plan ahead.
  • If you can grab a Power Weapon like a Rocket Launcher or Sniper, and you know how to use them correctly, this should be easier for you.
  • Grabbing Active Camo/Invisibility can give you a huge edge as enemies won't see you, and you can go behind the enemy and kill him.

The best way to get this if you are having trouble is to use the DMR or sword and if you use the sword you can double your poiints and money by getting a sword spree as well.

Easier on living dead. No armor and lots of head shots.

honestly, if you plan on getting all the achievements in this game, you'll get a killing spree by the time you hit Lt. colonel

Earned easiest in living dead or in a vehicle like a wraith or scopion in BTB. Just don't die for 5 kills straight and you should get the achievement.

Got it in Invasion Slayer, but I wasn't even trying for it at the time. This is coming from a guy who is terrible at competitive MP.

I just got a rampage in Grifball--no achievement. Is there a specific gametype this has to be in?
