Introduction:
Welcome to Hunted: The Demon's Forge(H:DF), a dungeon crawling action RPG video game introduced by inXile (creator of A Bard's Tale) and published by Bethesda. In this game, you have the choice to play as Caddoc, a male human warrior, or E'lara, a female elf ranger, and embark upon a journey to solve the mystery of a pale-skinned woman by the name of Seraphine.

With a style reminiscent of Gears of War in its sprint, cover, and battle system, Hunted: The Demon's Forge introduces a wonderful experience both with a friend or alone and challenges old time fantasy game stereotypes with its unique magic system and lack of inventory. Not only that, but the game features several secret areas that the player must always be on the lookout for and plenty of rewards should one find them.

Overall, if you are reading this, you are clearly interested in H:DF and, most likely, getting a full 100% out of the game. Below is a roadmap and guide originally authored by IDiivil and finished by troy0891. Info was gathered from personal game play and research online (duly credited), all compiled, and cleanly writ in an attempt to help guide you to your 100%.

Happy gaming.

Step 1:
H:DF is a game that offers reloads of chapters (and spots within chapters). Because of this, the order in which you collect things and how you do so is not as important. I'll be writing this with the assumption you are starting from the beginning, however, so please keep that in mind as you follow the guide.

Firstly, start a new single player game and do not skip the tutorial/prologue. The prologue has crystals and a deathstone body required for their respective collectible achievements. All of the collection based achievements are detailed below.

If you want to play the game co-op you can set up a lobby and begin together choosing any point previously begun by either player; except the prologue. It’s the only part you must complete on your own.

If you’re playing the game on your own, be sure you level up both characters as you go and not just your primary one. Upgrade crystals are fully credited to both characters and would just go to waste if not used on each separately.

VERY IMPORTANT: This game has an achievement that is based on whether you drink "sleg" or not. Please keep in mind that once you drink it, you will have to start from the beginning if you want the achievement where you did not. I recommend NOT drinking it on your first playthrough. Using the chapter reload function you can always reload the last part of the chapter before the last time it’s offered and just finish a partial playthrough instead of having to complete and entire second run.

Step 2:
Assuming you did not drink the sleg on your first playthrough, load up the last chapter and play through it, only drink the sleg this time. It's recommended you do this with the character you did not use in your original playthrough (i.e. if you played E'lara, use Caddoc). That way, the last chapter's boss achievements will unlock for you as well (two birds with one stone, as it were).  At this point, when you finish, you should have both sleg-based achievements as well as Chapter Six's boss achievements for both characters. And if you’ve been using the collectible guide, you should have those achievements as well.

Step 3:
Mop up any missing character specific boss/chapter ending based cheevos, chapter/location specific kills you may have missed, and then it’s probably just a matter of grinding for gold to get the crucible cheevos.

VERY IMPORTANT: Do not start a New Game+ after you beat the game once unless you are willing to completely restart your characters (only your gold count remains). All progress on your character progression (leveling up), and collectibles are reset upon a New Game+. This can come in handy if you miss a collectible and don’t for the life of you know where. Kind of a pain otherwise.

Conclusion:
This game should not give you too much trouble to 100%. The only real grind is the lack of a chapter/sub-chapter indicator (making it hard to know the best time to quit without losing progress/having to repeat stages) and ensuring you have all the necessary collectibles. (TIPS: Quit after a cut scene whenever possible. And keep a tally or checklist for collectibles (ie: the collectible guide :D ) as there is no in game collectible tracking system.) Otherwise, H:DF is a very easy thousand.

Raise the Not Quite Dead15
Adventure Mode - Cooperatively kill 50 levitating enemies (2)

Have Caddoc use his Wind of Wrath spell and have E'lara pick off the enemies with her bow. This achievement will unlock for both players if in co-op. Probably easier done with enemies that already have reduced health as often times it takes more than one shot with the bow to kill them.

Ice Queen15
Adventure Mode - Cooperatively kill 50 frozen enemies (9)

Have E'lara use her Arctic Arrow spell and have Caddoc kill the enemies (dash works pretty well for that). This achievement will unlock for both players in co-op.

All That and a Bag of Chips15
Obtain an Epic quality weapon (1)

There are several secret areas in the game that contain purple-ish, sparkly, glowing cages. The first one you’ll encounter are in Ch 1.1.

Right after you’ve tight roped across the beam and had the discussion about heights, if you walk all the way forward and to the right you can’t miss seeing these. Walk around the corner of where the cages are and you’ll see a door. It’ll have a sign hanging over it. Have E’lara aim () at the support rope on top of it (her reticule should turn green) and shoot the rope (). The sign will fall and break down the door. 2 cages, 2 weapons. The character that breaks the cage is the only one that can pick up whatever comes out of it so play nice and share if you’re co-oping. I recommend shooting the cages with an arrow as a melee swing is likely to break both.

It's All a Top Priority15
Adventure Mode - Use the Deathstone to communicate with every spirit in the game (2)

See the Collectibles Guide for all locations.

Don't Cry, Little Dragon50
Adventure Mode - Find all Dragon Tears in the game (12)

See the Collectibles Guide for all locations.

Joined at the Hip 15
Adventure Mode - Perform a Spell Link with your companion 20 times during the game (5)

You must have this ability unlocked before you can use it (unlocked at 7 dragon tears collected). Have you and your partner use battle charge at the same time. A ghostly skull should start floating between you two. Do this twenty times to unlock the achievement. This achievement will unlock for both players in co-op (and is easier to do in co-op). See “Pump YOU up” for more info on Battle Charging

Pump YOU Up15
Adventure Mode - Battle Charge your companion 50 times during the game

Do this by selecting a spell assigned to your D-pad and then equipping it (hit  once). Once your character is holding the spell, hold   until the character charges up the spell and fires it. This should battle charge your partner. This achievement will unlock for both players in co-op. Battle Charging consumes massive amounts of manna but is highly awesome and useful if you see your partner getting overrun and you can’t get to them.

God Complex15
Create your own Crucible level (3)

Very easy. Simply load up your game, go to Crucible mode, and build a map. You don't even have to play it.

You Broke It, They Bought It15
Shatter the shields of 50 enemies

Utilizing Caddoc's Dash or E'lara's Arcane Burst, pick off fifty shields. As E'lara, make sure you hit the shield and not the character. As Caddoc, make sure their shields are in front of them (as in they are actively defending) before slamming into them with dash.

Select and equip their respective weapon magic with the D-pad and use them with  just like you do when casting battle magic.

Kaboom15
Kill at least 3 enemies with one explosion (2)

One of the best locations to get this achievement is in Chapter 2.3. As you are continuing through the game, you will come across a crane platform. As you go down, look for the explosive containers with at least three wargar near them and blow them up.

Is Something Burning?15
Kill 20 enemies using explosive barrels (4)

Throughout the game, there will be explosive barrels. Blow up the barrel with an arrow or crossbow bolt when an enemy or group of enemies are nearby to unlock this achievement. A good location to farm this, if you don’t get it with normal game play, is at the crane room in 2.3

Like Butter15
Equip a Rare, or better, quality weapon in both inventory slots (1)

When you discover at least six secret locations your character unlocks the ability to equip two weapons. At this point all you need to do is equip two of the pretty purple weapons from the sparkly glowing special weapons cages. This can be done before the end of chapter 1.  The Collectibles Guide has several locations of secret areas and special weapon caches. You can also always go back to Ch 1.1 and raid that first cache and just pick up both weapons.

Sandy V.30
Adventure Mode - Defeat all bosses as E'lara (4)

Defeat all the bosses at the end of every chapter as E'lara. You can reload the last sub-chapter and redo it as the other character after beating it once to get the other half of this achievement.

Situation30
Adventure Mode - Defeat all bosses as Caddoc (2)

Defeat all the bosses at the end of every chapter as Caddoc. You can reload the last sub-chapter and redo it as the other character after beating it once to get the other half of this achievement.

Crystal Clear15
Adventure Mode - Collect all possible crystals throughout the game (15)

See the Collectibles Guide for all locations.

Business of Makin' Sausage25
Complete Chapter 6

Story related and cannot be missed. Unlocks at the end of Chapter 6.

Gold Finger50
Amass 100,000 gold (8)

Will unlock on the way to “Dungeon Master”. Easiest done on a Crucible map designed to amass gold. This thread has helpful information on what to look for.

LF1M Dungeon Crawl50
Complete a 25 room map in Crucible (5)

Very easy, if a little time consuming. Simply create a Crucible map for yourself or play an easy one made by Auburok. Main Menu > Crucible > Browse Maps >  to scroll over till you get to All Creators > Auburok > Quick 25 Room Run.  Please vote it up when you finish so others can find and continue to use this map. Thanks.

Late to the Party50
Adventure Mode - Free all bound prisoners throughout the game (1)

See the Collectibles Guide for all locations.

Not on My Watch15
Kill a fleeing Wargar in the town of Dyfed (4)

Keep an eye out for a long corridor-like section near the beginning of chapter one. A wargar should be knelt with his back to you near a cover-system area to your left. After killing the kneeling wargar, run forward to the end of the corridor, kill the other two that rush you, and look past the walled area in front of you. You should see two fleeing wargar. Shoot them down. It will pop as soon as you fell one of them.

One Man Wolf Pack15
Unlock 1st piece of Crucible content

See “Dungeon Master” for more information.

Dungeon Makeover15
Unlock 50% of Crucible content

See “Dungeon Master” for more information.

Dungeon Master50
Unlock all Crucible content (10)

Crucible content is unlocked only through the acquisition of gold. You need 190,000g total to unlock all of it. You can farm gold using the method outlined in “Gold Finger” to supplement what you get with normal game play by looting the battlefield and searching chests in secret areas.

Eye for an Eye15
Kill an Eye of Annuvin before it can summon reinforcements on the Road to Kala Moor (6)

This is definitely easiest in casual mode with E'lara. In Chapter 5.2, you'll come across a wide desert-like area where you see two flying eyeballs and some wargar. Above them, at the very far end of your screen, you should see a wargar mounted on a ballista. Either have a very strong bow equipped or have Caddoc battle charge you, aim at the eye, and shoot it down.

Note: Don’t get too close, or you will alert the enemies to your presence. This achievement only unlocks for the player shooting down the enemy.

Razor Sharp15
Kill 15 enemies with the Forest flechette gun on the Road to Kala Moor (5)

This is definitely easiest on casual mode. In the forest in Chapter 5.1, you'll come across a hill where a flechette gun (arrow gun) is positioned at the top. It's facing down the length of a bridge. Simply have your partner protect you while you shoot down the oncoming enemies. Eventually, you'll kill 15 and the achievement will pop. This achievement only unlocks for the player shooting down the enemy.

I'll Huff and I'll Puff...15
Trick a blind dragon into shooting down the weak tower in the depths of Kala Moor (2)

In Chapter 6.2, once you encounter the scene with the prisoner (it's a lengthy cut scene and a deathstone will be involved), you will step outside. A tower is nearby, as is a dragon. Simply run to the tower and fight the wargar under it, and the dragon should destroy the tower on its own.

Rampage15
Kill 20 Wargar before the crane platform gets to the bottom in the Dungeons of Dyfed (5)

As you are being lowered on the crane platform in Chapter 2.3, try to kill as many wargar as you can. Utilizing the explosive barrels and attempting to get as many wargar around them before detonation also helps. (Will probably unlock ”Kaboom” at the same time) Auburok and IDiivil got this achievement by sending Caddoc on the platform and having him firebomb the lower level and using E'lara to snipe the top level.

Catch!15
Escape the Collapsing Aqueduct without taking any damage (4)

In Chapter 4.5, when you land upon a bridge-like path at the very start, be ready to sprint. You'll have a cutscene as you continue walking where a projectile slams into the bridge. At this point, sprint the entire way through it until you land on the ground at the very end (automatic).

Bull in a China Shop15
Trick the Minotaur into destroying all the pillars in the Arches of Fire section in Llyr (11)

In Chapter 4.3 where you witness a minotaur battling a bunch of wargar, you'll notice you are to walk out onto a wooden platform. When the minotaur notices you and charges you down from it by collapsing a pillar, have him charge the rest of the wooden pillars there that support the platform.

Secret Achievements

Life Support15
Adventure Mode - Revive your fallen companion 20 times during the game (3)

You will probably get this in a normal playthrough. If not, you can have a co-op partner die a lot and use rejuvenation potions on them get this achievement. Pretty easy stuff.

If it doesn’t pop with normal game play you  can "Play split screen or co-op on chapter 1.6, hardcore/old school difficulty. There's a regen vial right before the boss fight if you don't have any. Once the fight starts, take cover behind the pillar and move your afk/victim teammate into the archer's fire. Use a vial when they go down and refill (when needed) from the 3 vials surrounding the arena." (Credit: D412k Kn16h7)

Piddlin' in the Porridge25
Adventure Mode - Finished a game where one player drank the Sleg (1)

Assuming you read the road map and already have “Above the Influence”, just load up Chapter 6 > play through it > Drink the sleg > Finish the rest of the chapter. The achievement will pop at the end of the game.

Above the Influence100
Adventure Mode - Finished a game where neither player drank Sleg (10)

Don’t drink and game. Just say no to sleg. And other catch phrases. Achievement should unlock at the end of the game if neither player drank sleg.

If your co-op buddy accidently messes this one up for you, never fear. Simply reload that Chapter and redo it without the sleg. It will overwrite and you should get the cheevo after recompleting the game from that point. (hey, it’s better than having to start from the beginning) (Credit: II Skylander II)
