Introduction
Kinect Rush is Disney's newest game for Kinect allowing you to put yourself into 5 different Pixar worlds and play your part! In each world you will be given 3 different episodes with lots to unlock! To get 1000 it took me about 12 hours, but I had to find every buddy area, so if you use my buddy area guide you should be able to push through it in about 7 hours! None of the achievements are hard, and do not require a large amount of skill, after all, it is a game for young children. I would estimate that you will have to play each episode a total of about 4 or 5 times to fully complete it. The higher you score each time, the less replays per episode. There are no missable achievements, cheats nor difficulty settings, but there is, however, a glitchy achievement. This should be the first achievement you unlock, but it seems that A New Me does not unlock for everyone first time. This is not to worry as next time you sign in just create a new character - all of your saved games will still be there.
The 3 online achievements (Top of the Charts, See What I Did!, See? I Can Do Anything!) only require Xbox live in order to view leaderboards and use KinectShare.

Walkthrough
When you start playing you will be scanned by the Kinect to create a character that looks like you. If you wear glasses - you will need to take these off for the scan but can put them back after you are scanned and get the achievement. See the FAQ's or the guide if you failed to unlock A New Me.

Once you are dropped off at Pixar Park you will run down into the park and will have the option of 5 different worlds. You will need to fully complete each world to gain all of the achievements. To start the episode just walk onto the portal (Picture of the Pixar ball on the ground). To fully complete each episode you will have to play it several times until you fill the meter for that level. You will be able to view the meter once you complete it. Whilst filling the meter you will unlock extra things for the episode such as new episodes, Buddies, secondary missions, special abilities and Bonus Art. As you unlock these for each episode it will become easier to increase your score, resulting in a higher ranked badge. Your badges range from Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. The badge you get is based purely on your score, which is based on your coins collected and the time taken to complete the episode. As you play through each episode you will also be given the opportunity to collect character coins. There are 4 of these coins per episode and once you collect them all you can play as the selected character on that episode. You need to play every episode as these characters to get the full 1000. Once you fill the meter for every episode in every world and play as all of the characters you will be left with several achievements left. The 3 online achievements and the credits related achievement are easy, and are explained in the achievement guide. This will leave you with just the individual episode ones, for example 'Completing an episode without falling'. If you follow the tips in the achievement guides and try your best you should have no problem unlocking all of them.

Use the Buddy Area and Character Coin Guide to get the achievements for unlocking all Buddy Areas

Conclusion
The game is pretty straight forward as far as achievements go and should not be too hard or frustrating to complete. It's one of the best Kinect games as far as using different movements and working with the Kinect to actually recognize what you are doing! If you're looking for a Kinect game with an easy 1000 then I would certainly recommend this game!

You should start off with one buddy and unlock 2 more. Once you have unlocked them all you must use them to enter each 'Buddy Area' within each episode.

Note: there are sometimes more than 3 'Buddy Areas' in an episode.

Use the Buddy Area and Character Coin Guide to find them.

  • Defeat all bosses, alone or with a friend.

    (1)

    Bosses occur in the last level of each world. You should have to battle them a couple of times but to complete the episode you will need to defeat them. All you need to do is throw something at them and then dodge their attacks. Here are the bosses for each world;

    • Toy Story - The crunching machines in the dump.
    • Ratatouille - Skinner
    • Cars - No specific boss battle.
    • Incredibles - Omnidroid
    • Up - Aeroplanes

    (1)

To complete a world you must complete all 3 episodes in that world. Your score or medal do not matter, and you do not need to unlock anything.

  • Share 10 KinectShare awards.

In the pause menu you can access your progress and you can then access your KinectShare area. You need to fill 10 bars for the movements and then Share them!

  • Throw 20 tennis balls in the “Floodgates” episode, alone or with a friend.

This achievement will come naturally while playing the game. This is not required in one sitting! It all adds up everytime you play the episode, so just throw several tennis balls each time you play this episode.

  • Jump from zipline to zipline 10 times in the “Free the Birds!” episode, alone or with a friend.

To jump between zip-lines you need to have both hands in the air and use the hand you want to jump with and put it out to the side. Do this 10 times on the 'Free the Birds' episode. There are 2 long zip-line sections in this episode.

  • Play the entire Cars world as Lightning McQueen, alone or with a friend.

Play all 3 episodes in a world as the playable character. You must first unlock the character in each episode by finding the 4 character coins per episode.

Use the Buddy Area and Character Coin Guide to find them.

  • Slide through the entire “Save Metroville” episode without falling.

You will be sliding for most of the time during this episode so focus on not falling off. If you go slowly this is easily done.

  • Survive the entire “Canyon Expedition” episode without falling.

Whilst doing this episode do not fall and die! I would recommend just taking it slowly. I did it during my play through as Russell, since score doesn't matter.

  • Complete the entire “Fancy Drivin'” episode without hitting any obstacles.

Do not hit any of the obstacles that Mater has set up. Try to take this slowly, I recommend doing this on your run through with McQueen since you most likely will not care about your score on this run through.

  • Complete the entire “Daycare Dash” episode without falling.

When high up in this episode be sure not to fall. You will know as the screen will go black and you will respawn back on top. This also includes falling when balancing, even if your character grabs on and doesn't die.

  • Perform an 8-second glide in the “Rooftop Run” episode in one try.

You will unlock glide after completing the last episode in Ratatouille. When you do, replay Rooftop Run and perform Glide when there is a large decline and try to last 8 seconds in the air. I did this on the slide after the room full of candles. I recommend a sprint start and to keep your arms very high to make sure you stay as high as possible.

  • Open all areas with the whip in the “House Chase” episode, alone or with a friend.

There is only one whip area in this episode. It is on your right just as you enter the first area where you need to knock over a tree.

  • Open all boxes with rockets in the “Daycare Dash” episode, alone or with a friend.

There are 5 yellow boxes in this level. Open all of them within one playthrough of the episode for this achievement.
There is 1 just at the start if you turn around.
2 at the next playground you find a battery in.
2 at the playground after that you have to find a battery in.

  • Perform a 100-meter glide in the “Bomb Squad” episode.

I did this on the last gliding area in this level as there is a downhill slope after it.

Use the Buddy Area and Character Coin Guide to find Glides

  • Find all night vision areas in the “Omnidroid Bash” episode, alone or with a friend.

    (1)

There is only one area!  The entrance is just before you slide down before Violet. The exit is just across from Violet's 'Buddy Area'.

Use the Buddy Area and Character Coin Guide if you can't find Violet's 'Buddy Area'
