Introduction
Kinect Rush is Disney's newest game for Kinect allowing you to put yourself into 5 different Pixar worlds and play your part! In each world you will be given 3 different episodes with lots to unlock! To get 1000 it took me about 12 hours, but I had to find every buddy area, so if you use my buddy area guide you should be able to push through it in about 7 hours! None of the achievements are hard, and do not require a large amount of skill, after all, it is a game for young children. I would estimate that you will have to play each episode a total of about 4 or 5 times to fully complete it. The higher you score each time, the less replays per episode. There are no missable achievements, cheats nor difficulty settings, but there is, however, a glitchy achievement. This should be the first achievement you unlock, but it seems that A New Me does not unlock for everyone first time. This is not to worry as next time you sign in just create a new character - all of your saved games will still be there.
The 3 online achievements (Top of the Charts, See What I Did!, See? I Can Do Anything!) only require Xbox live in order to view leaderboards and use KinectShare.
Walkthrough
When you start playing you will be scanned by the Kinect to create a character that looks like you. If you wear glasses - you will need to take these off for the scan but can put them back after you are scanned and get the achievement. See the FAQ's or the guide if you failed to unlock A New Me.
Once you are dropped off at Pixar Park you will run down into the park and will have the option of 5 different worlds. You will need to fully complete each world to gain all of the achievements. To start the episode just walk onto the portal (Picture of the Pixar ball on the ground). To fully complete each episode you will have to play it several times until you fill the meter for that level. You will be able to view the meter once you complete it. Whilst filling the meter you will unlock extra things for the episode such as new episodes, Buddies, secondary missions, special abilities and Bonus Art. As you unlock these for each episode it will become easier to increase your score, resulting in a higher ranked badge. Your badges range from Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. The badge you get is based purely on your score, which is based on your coins collected and the time taken to complete the episode. As you play through each episode you will also be given the opportunity to collect character coins. There are 4 of these coins per episode and once you collect them all you can play as the selected character on that episode. You need to play every episode as these characters to get the full 1000. Once you fill the meter for every episode in every world and play as all of the characters you will be left with several achievements left. The 3 online achievements and the credits related achievement are easy, and are explained in the achievement guide. This will leave you with just the individual episode ones, for example 'Completing an episode without falling'. If you follow the tips in the achievement guides and try your best you should have no problem unlocking all of them.
Use the Buddy Area and Character Coin Guide to get the achievements for unlocking all Buddy Areas
Conclusion
The game is pretty straight forward as far as achievements go and should not be too hard or frustrating to complete. It's one of the best Kinect games as far as using different movements and working with the Kinect to actually recognize what you are doing! If you're looking for a Kinect game with an easy 1000 then I would certainly recommend this game!
